Curry did an amazing job. They showed up for the estimate, showed up on time do the job. 60 years in business and it shows. Great crew who work together like a fine tuned machine. They picked up every stick and my yard was even cleaner then before they cut my trees. Thanks so much guys. I will be calling you again.

On 07/01/15 I made a phone call to Curry Tree service to get an estimate.. Just so happens they were in our neighborhood and  2 mins later I had  my estimate. They said they would try to work me in within the next week. It was the next day! The crew was great .They came in the rain and worked in the rain. What a great bunch of men. They cleaned up after themselves and even took all the saw dust and reclosed the gate behind them. They offered some advice as to the problem on how and why the rest of tree should be taken care of. Not all tree servicecompanies would care that much to give that information .I will use them again!!

Let's face it - tree service is expensive. But I wouldn't want to do it. Given this - Curry Tree Service was extremely professional, expedient and efficient. I called to have one tree cut - but it was a doozy - next to a utility pole and hung up in many wires. Curry needed to bring a cherry-picker to get to it. Mr. Lewis quoted the one tree at $1200. While doing the quote - I asked Mr. Lewis about another tree that was dying....and then about some bushes that needed trimming, and 2 smaller trees cluttering up my yard. For $2,000, Curry Tree Service removed the $1200 tree, a hard-to-get-to Evergreen, 2 small crab apple trees, trimmed 4 bushes and removed a huge pile of brush that we made ourselves in anticipation of a wood chipper. It was a lot of money - but I feel like I got a lot of work. Curry Tree Team showed up at right at 9 am ready to go. The heat was incredible but they didn't stop for nearly 4 hours. There were 8-10 men on the team - each with a specific job - and they worked as a real team.. I would hire Curry Tree Service again and recommend them to anyone.

Curry Tree service is a great family owned operation. All of the guys were very skilled and attentive to the work. I'm always amazed at how precise they are to make the limbs and branches fall exactly where they want them to. I am very happy with the work, punctuality, and quality of the tools and machinery that they used. I was very happy to give the work to a neighborhood business!

I called Curry Tree Service last week for an estimate around 11:00 AM. I was able to meet with Mr. Curry and his neice that afternoon at 4:00 PM. He walked my yard and gave me a quote on the spot. I went ahead and scheduled this and they were able to come back less than a week later. He even called on a Sunday night to confirm that he was able to come on Monday and wanted to make sure that was OK with me since we had some rain that weekend. Overall, I was impressed with their responsiveness and punctuality, especially after I have already had 2 quotes from other companies who told me they would perform the work but never came back.
The day of the service, Curry had at least 6 guys on the job with a couple large trucks and other equipment. They were able to maneuver carefully to get in my backyard (which is not easy to access with big equipment). They made sure they put down boards to eliminate large ruts in my yard, which was much appreciated since the ground was a bit soft. They took down by big tree in no time, and did a nice job trimming the trees like I asked. There was one spot I wish they would have got better, but I did not ask for this until after their equipment was moved, so that was somewhat my fault. They finished by removing two large stumps in about 20 minutes. They did a nice job raking up my yard and the neighbor, and minimized any debris. Overall, I was very impressed with Mr. Curry and his entire crew for the job. I really appreciated that he was so quick to respond and did the job so quickly....the work was long overdue!

Mr. Curry's extensive knowledge of trees combined with his crew's expertise were just what our yard needed. Even the neighbors were impressed with the crane work. I appreciated the very reasonable pricing and the suggestions.

Called the service and Mr. Curry came to my house the same day. He was very polite and honest. Gave me an estimate before he left, most unusual. Two days later 3 big trucks, a wood chipper and four men appeared. Job: chop down four tree and clean up ancient Maple. They made short work of the trees that needed to be chopped down. The ancient Maple took longer due to many dead limbs. I am so pleased with the work: the sun can now shine in everywhere. Work opened up the yard making it look much better. Maple looks like it was worth saving. Job was completely done on 7-29-2013. I say give these folks a try ... don't believe you will be disappointed.

I was well pleased with this company. They were professional, punctual and respectful of each other and myself. I called for an estimate one day and they were working at my house the next day. Work was completed in a timely manner. They left my yard clean with no debris. Very friendly, answered all my questions. Family oriented business.

Mr. Curry came out the day I called and gave me an estimate that was $400 less than another I had received. His company came out and could not use their heavy equipment because of my yard layout and he did not want to take a chance on ruining the lawn. They ended up climbing the tree (the old-fashioned way) which was much more labor intensive. They ran out of time and had to reschedule to come back to finish and do clean-up. We had a lot of rain during the next couple of weeks and during this period Mr. Curry called several times to let us know that he had'nt "forgotten" us. He and his crew were incredibly professional, friendly and did a super job. I would not hesitate to recommend his group.

Called several different places, some never called back, some gave a general estimate over the phone. Curry was the only one who came out to give an estimate and it was very affordable. They were there within a few days with whole crew at exactly the time he said he would be and they were in and out within less than 45 minutes. The whole crew was great, they even gave me helpful advice on planting a new tree and what kind of trees would be best. So very happy I went with them! Don't waste your time with anyone else. These guys are the real deal and they will get you taken care of in no time and at a very affordable price!

The person concerned is bonded and insured, and he used to work for Metro Parks a long time ago. He is a high quality older man, and he has a good crew. He is too old to do the work himself, but he has able bodied workers, and a tight, well-knit crew. He comes out, gives me an estimate, and he follows through with it. It's just done with a handshake, there is not a lot of folderol with it. He is very straight forward and honest. The one thing I like about him is that he does not like to cut down trees until he has to. He'll take the dead out of them, and he'll get them well. I had a tulip poplar that was in a big V. They have a way of rotting at the surface, and this tree was starting to separate as it was aging and getting heavier. He said that he wanted to wire the two sides together, and he did that with a cabling system. He said that if it fell over, it would all come down in one piece. I got about eight or nine more years of life out of that tree, until it got so bad that I didn't want it causing problems, and so I ended up having to take it down. He tells me exactly how to take care of a tree too. He lent me his drill and auger and told me how to drill holes and put fertilizer in there for when the hard freeze came along. He is easy to get hold of, and if there is some emergency work like after a storm or something, he gets to me as fast as he can. He is just a great human being, and if I could use the words “a good Christian person”, I would put that label to him.

Asked for an estimate for cutting down a dead tree and for trimming several existing trees in yard. Mr Curry even suggested trimming a bush (rose of sharon) growing close to my house. Very efficient in coming out to give estimate, then came to do service within a few days. Workers were prompt in arriving at designated time, worked efficiently for the 2 1/2 hours they were here. Cleaned up all cut branches off trees, put dead tree through chipper and even swept up street and sidewalks after all was done. All workers were courteous and friendly. Will definitely recommend and will use again when needed.

Curry's was very responsive to my requests. They provided an reasonable estimate on the spot. They were able to start the job fairly quickly. I feel the job was well done.

The two trees in the front were quite large and old for my small yard, and they were slowly dying anyway. The branches on the tree in my back yard were infringing on items in my next door neighbor's yard. So I had the two front yard trees removed and the stumps ground into wood chips. I had the back yard tree trimmed and thinned out. They did a superb job on the back yard tree. When Hurricane Ike slammed through this area, it didn't seem to faze the tree at all. It help up just fine and dandy under all that fierce wind, most likely because of a well-executed trimming job.

I was very glad that they were able to save the tree. They have great equipment to get up high, they removed limbs, cleaned up, and didn't leave until I surveyed the area and approved. I would recommend them to anyone!
