I have only had my car at Camz twice, for the same issue, and after over $745 paid, in the end they said it could not be fixed.
I first took my car to Camz due to a check engine light and rough idling. The mechanic explained how he billed regarding hooking my car up to the engine diagnostic machine and how that would only be a one-time charge for the life of my car. He stated he would then call me with an estimate but I asked him to go ahead and fix it as long as the total was under $200. He called a day later and said it was ready. When I went in, all he and the cashier could do was chastise me for not changing the oil. They told me I waited too long to have the oil changed and it messed with some sensors. They told me I was lucky and all he had to do was clean the reservoir and change the oil a few times and this appeared to fixed the problem so I didn't need new sensors. Great I thought. Of course the entire visit all the staff could do was chastise me for not having the oil changed in a timely manner. Charge was only $200.68.
I paid, got in the car, started it up and guess what -- "Check Engine" light still on. I went back in to tell him and he asked me to drive it for a few days to let the engine oil cycle through and bring it back for a repeat check up. I did as asked. I left the car with him again a few days later. This time he kept it for a couple more days. They called and said it was ready and told me I should "bring my girl friend" with me as they had some bad news for me.
When I went in to the shop, again I got the "it's all my fault" routine. They told me in the end my car was unfixable - and, of course, it was all my fault. They said that since I kept the old oil in for so long and let it drain low so much that it messed up my timing chains. They did replace 2 sensors and, of course, charged me for that. Then they told me that there were 4 timing chains and replacing them would cost over one thousand dollars and I would be better off just replacing the engine. I was upset. I was not so upset about the problem but that they had my car for over 4 days on 2 visits and did over $745 worth of work they charged me for, chastised me the entire time and still my car was no better than when I took into them in the first place.
If they could not fix it in the first place I wish they would have charged me an engine diagnostic fee, changed the oil and sent me on my way. I understand it may have been my fault but that can't be an excuse why they could not fix it and why they did so much work on it and charged me for that unneeded work. My car would still be running as it was after all the work and I would't be out all that money. Obviously I will not use them again nor will i recommend them.

Wow. This was the most impressive experience I have ever had with Automotive repair. They had my truck on the road in less than a day. Very professional. The price was very reasonable.

My husband takes care of the billing but he is usually very fair. He has always been good to me. He is nice and kind of laid back. He tries his best to do whatever he can to get a problem solved, and he will tell you if he can't do it.

Everything went well. The price was fair for all of the required work. Camz made it easy for me to drop off my car and pick it up. It was delivered early and less than the estimate.
