This company, Dale Erickson Construction Inc, had done 2 small jobs in the past for us with great results. However, this last huge job has resulted in a disaster. It is now a crime scene ! We paid Dale Erickson Construction Inc for the this job in late 2012. With the understanding that we would be first in early Spring (first week of March 2013) and the whole job would be done in about 2 weeks after starting it. Well here we are in late October 2013 and the house still is not 100% done. Dale, himself, has lied to us at least 50 times or more. Not showed up, doesn't return calls, nothing for weeks at a time. We have had to threaten him with lawsuits to get any results. He had to re-do the 3 small areas of hardy plank, replacing aluminum, on the exterior. It was mis-installed the first time and looked horrible ! The new hardy plank was dirty, crooked, nails, putty and caulk everywhere. Terrible job ! I had to demand the areas to be done over. A simple 1 day job took another 3 weeks ! Every time we pull in the driveway we are disgusted at the way he did our home. The corners of the new work are still exposed to the weather as of this day 10/23/2013. We have picked up 3 sandwich bags of nails & tools. I took pictures of the nails & he explained that he gets them all the time in his tires and to not worry about it ? What ? Last night we were presented with a lien notification from the gutter company that Dale himself hired and has never paid. He refused to answer their phone calls & ours until I texted him with the details. When he finally called he said it was a mis-understanding from the gutter company ! It wasn't ! I have talked to the gutter company (good people) and they said that their hands are tied until he decides to pay his bill. If he doesn't pay a lien will be filed against OUR HOME ! He is claiming the "check is in the mail" ! We first met Dale Erickson Construction Inc through Lowe's about 2 years ago. Lowe's had nothing to do with this last job, but they have been notified about our problems and pending lien on our home. This man has stole from us, our money, trust, and dignity ! ! Now we may have to get an attorney to save our home. Guard your money & home ! He doesn't keep his word & took our money !

He was wonderful. He is extremely knowledge about new and old doors. He cleaned everything up after himself. He told me everything he was doing as he went along.
