I swim at this YMCA regularly. They open swim lanes in the outdoor pool during the summer. Their facilities are nice and the people are kind.

I feel comfortable going there. They have nice array of equipment and they have a nice indoor and outdoor pool. It's convenient to go there but it's not late hours or early hours so I don't get up really earlier and I'm not out there late. I'm retired so it works fine for me. They're very welcoming and give tour and show how to use a certain equipment to get the best workout possible. They offer classes and they also offer fitness instructors.

I have been a member of the Ransburg YMCA for over 30 years. 99% of my time is spent lap swimming. I learned to swim there and was hooked. The classes were great. I continue to go a couple of times a week and the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They have an indoor walking track which I also use from time to time. Members can meet with a personal trainer for assistance. They have child care and the little kids always come in and out smiling. They are really an asset to the east side. There are always people headed upstairs to use the many machines. There's always something positive going on there.

I am currently using them. The people are just friendly, outgoing and helpful. All of them are great.

YMCA Ransburg Branch have very good coaches who help the members very well and it is very easy to get an appointment with them. Their dressing rooms are carpeted and clean. It is in every aspect, it is a very clean well known YMCA. The water is so clear and clean. We rarely have to wait to use it. My daughter and I have both had coaching experience, where they set up the machines for you. The only thing that is difficult is that I have to climb up to use the standard exercise machines. I started with 8 machines and today I did 9 and tomorrow I will do 10. The people coaching us are very nice. I do not have any negative experiences.

I have Blane as my Zumba Instructor. I have lost 35 lbs since joining. We do jazz, hip hop, classic ballroom steps, show steps, etc.... I have invited 11 other woman and they also enjoy visiting YMCA to participate in the Zumba Land classes that is instructed by Blane.

I think that they are very good. They have good silver sneakers program and that is for senior citizens. I like that they are friendly and the quality of service has been good. I don’t pay anything because it is covered by my insurance.

The Ransburg YMCA is a typical city fitness facility, I get what I need, but then again I don't need much. It is a convenient place to work out. I never have to wait for access to weights or machines, and the people are courteous and thoughtful.

It was awful. The class was for 3 year olds and it took place in the racquetball room. Have you ever tried to talk in a racquetball room? It is impossible. The kids could not tell what was going on everything was echoing out of control. They couldn't tell what the instructors were saying - it was just a disaster. There were 2 instructors - I felt sorry for them - the girls couldn't have been over 16. This YMCA branch has some serious problems with whoever is making the decisions, we've had multiple problems with them and they are the perfect example of why we will never be Y members again. We ended up leaving the class early and did not come back to that session or any of the others.

I will never forgive myself for sending my daughter here. I can't stress how horrible they are. The final straw with the day camp was when I went to check on my daughter, unexpectedly, and could not have walked in a worse time. One of the workers was sitting off to the side of the room while the kids were eating lunch and as I entered the room she got up, stomped over to my daughter, pointed at her and yelled "Eat your food!". My daughter immediately burst into tears. I could not believe what I had just seen. I was in shock. I grabbed my daughter and immediately went to the camp director, who proceeded to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. My daughter had talked specifically about this worker and how she was mean to the other kids. I could not believe they allowed this. I did receive lots of apologies from the director but the employee was in no way, shape, or form reprimanded. One comment was "I'm sorry you had to see that." As if it goes on all the time and they were just sorry they got caught.

I noticed there were no reports for this branch so I just had to say something. These are the most wonderful, caring folks you could find. Judy and Leda (at the front desk) do such a great job, working very hard for not near enough money. They do it because they are caring people. My membership and the camp for my kids wasn't free, but they took the time to help me figure out what I could afford and get some assistance. My kids had the best time at camp! I've been going to this branch on and off for several years. The sports programs are great and they really try hard to make it a great experience for the families. These ladies are over worked but they still do it because they care. They deserve alot more than a pat on the back now and then. So if you go in there tell them you heard about them on Angie's list and that they are appreciated!
