I could not be happier with this experience. I have had estimates in the past and I am pleased with the quote I received. They did great work and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. You can not even tell that they were here. They were very professional and responsive, the owner was present and supervised the whole job. They are easy to reach, they are available by phone and through their website.

Came out the day after I called to give estimate and two days later completed work. Worked hard, trees look good, cleaned everything up, price was competitive.

Once they got here, they did a great job. They will be one of the first people I will call the next time we get a heavy snow!

I have used the company a couple of times. They are reasonably priced and the job they did was excellent. They really did a good clean up job for me both times. They are very tidy, careful people.

We have used this company before and really liked the owner, Paul. They were very professional in their work. They chipped up the wood and hauled everything away. They cleaned up the area very well.

He is very knowledgeable. He did an excellent job. He was there when he said he would be there. He had 2 helpers, and they got the work done. He cleaned up nicely.

They were almost half the price of others. They were very prompt and took care of it within a day or two. They also did a very neat job with the work. They were very pleasant to deal with.

Paul always does the estimates for us and has been very professional, courteous, punctual, and thorough. He provided us with estimates for all requested work and even advised us on some landscape lighting. We have not done the work yet, but appreciate his professionalism. He is usually a bit more expensive, but is worth it.

They charged us $1600 for the second visit when they removed the large fallen tree. They responded very quickly because the tree was laying on our neighbor's property. They were here within a day. They were very professional. I trust them with very difficult tree work. One of the trees was close to the house and I trusted them completely to keep the house safe. I would definitely use them again in the future and have already recommended them to others.

They came out and did an estimate almost immediately. They were very friendly and professional, and had the best price.

Paul came to do the estimate on a Saturday and exactly when stated. His estimate matched another, but he agreed to come sooner to remove the enormous limb overhanging our swing set. His crew arrived within about 4 days during a very busy time and were very friendly. Paul did the climbing and trimming himself and his crew did a great job cleaning up. A large limb broke a very small portion of an old fence and Paul offered to fix it. We have used other tree trimmers and Paul went above and beyond for a very decent price. He even cut and stacked up the locust logs on our firewood rack for us to split later.

It was good, and they had been recommended to me. They did a great job for the price that they quoted! They had to lower the cost and did what I had asked them to.

They were excellent. No one else would do the work. They were really good.

They were wonderful! Showed up on time every time, were very professional, and cleaned up meticulously when they were done. Even did an extra little project without charging me! Plus, their estimate (and charges) were less than half the other estimate I got. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

It went exceedingly well. The owner of the company and three helpers showed up at 10 AM and finished at 2:30 PM. They cut the trees at the ground in a very efficient manner and did very little damage to other trees in the area. When they finished, they cleaned up meticulously.

Went well from start to finish. Very polite and did nice clean work. From other reviews, it sounds like they sometimes have a scheduling problem which we did not experience.

We chose Xanderbuilt service over several others because Mr. Xander did some other types of work we were considering having done in the future and we wanted to see how he conducted his business before having him do other work. We were told at the time of the estimate (early July) that they were scheduling about three-four weeks out and that he would call us with the exact date closer to the end of the month. We called several times the week he said he would likely be out to see if we could get a better idea of the day, since we had our granddaughter in town for three weeks and wanted to be able to plan outings and such. We got a phone call late the Friday of that week saying he would be out early the next week. The next week came and went with no call from him about scheduling us. We called several more times to get a definite date set so we could plan the last week with our granddaughter and left messages. On our way back from the airport two weeks after the week he said he would do the work, we got a phone call saying his crew would be there in 15 minutes. We were 25 minutes away. We were not pleased. We arrived home and found the crew getting ready to start working. We had to hurry around and move a couple of vehicles and planters out of the way. We went over the work order with the crew and were surprised that some of our work from the estimate was not on their work order. Mr. Xander's son headed up the work crew and was very courteous and professional. He took great care not to drop heavy branches onto our yard or flower beds. He did all the work on our estimate and we were very satisfied with the results. His co-worker was also very courteous and cut the larger branches to our desired lengths to leave for firewood and carried it around back to our wood pile. Overall, the work performed was terrific but the lack of communication almost led us to go with one of the other contractors who gave us an estimate on the job.

It went really well overall. It was at a bad time because of the storms so they were a little backlogged, but they were very prompt and they left my yard cleaner than when they arrived.

Mr. Xander was right on time to give us an estimate and provided the estimate before he left our house. He told us that since our job was a small one he didn't know what day the following week he would be out because he was going to squeeze it in between larger jobs. I asked if payment was needed in advance or at the time of service since I didn't know if I would be home. He said he would invoice us. The work was done on July 8 and an invoice was left in our mailbox. We are very happy with the work that was performed. On Friday, July 18, at noon, I received a call from Mrs. Xander who runs the business and was asked if I would please put a check under my doormat for her to pick up that afternoon. When I said that I didn't know if I could do it today since I had company from out of town but was planning to mail the payment that weekend, Mrs. Xander told me that payment was really expected at the time of service and I was already ten days past. I explained that Mr. Xander and I had talked about being paid in advance and he said it wasn't necessary. She again urged me to place a check under my doormat for pickup. I was infuriated and made to feel that I was delinquent on a payment. I said the check would be under the mat and it was there within an hour of her phone call. It sat under my doormat until Sunday afternoon when I mailed it to them with a note on how disappointed I was. Although, Mrs. Xander has apologized, I still think it was unfair and a poor business practice. I will not use Xanderbuilt again but I would not discourage others from doing so; the work was performed well and the price was right. However, I have to strongly suggest that people pay in advance or at the time of service to keep them from going through what I did.

They are definitely reasonably priced. They have been prompt and if I leave a message, they always get back to me. They are very courteous and professional. They are just very nice, reliable people who do good work.

Overall they weren't only going to take trees out but they planted trees that we wanted. They were on time and very professional and did a great job.

After I saw the estimate, I called and left a message to let them know the estimate was fine, and to arrange for a time to do the work. They called back to tell me it would be a week to 10 days, so they would put me in the queue. After 10 days I called and left a message to find out if they were coming soon. No response. After another week, I called again and left the same message. Again no response. I assumed my job was not big enough to justify any response from them, so I had another company do the work.

Went very well and we were very pleased. They stopped during a very busy time to take a look at the tree. We thought it may fall down since it was split. As soon as he looked at it, it needed to come down. They had their equipment with them and they took it down immediately. He was very careful and polite and cleaned up afterwards. The price was very reasonable during a very busy time.

Very well. He comes and does the driveway when we need it.
