WINDOWS AND DOORS OF INDIANAPOLIS

The installers were excellent.  They were fast and kept the house and yard cleaned up as they worked.  The installation crew was very good and I would use them again. 

We had a security system wired into the house and removed the caps to expose the wires so the security company could back and reconnect. 

Unfortunately, the sales person for Windows and Doors was unclear as to what the installers would and would not do.  They did not drill new holes for the security wiring and actually buried the wires under the new window frames so they were essentially useless.  This required us to get an entire new wireless system at an additional cost to us for $800 for the house.  It also meant additional time working with ADT (who was great about working with us) that we had not previously planned. 

Overall it was successful, but I would suggest asking very detailed questions about wired in security systems if you have one.  In most cases it will need to be replaced as the window installers will not drill holes in the casements to accommodate a wired security system. 

Instead of doing it the proper way they wrapped on top of the damaged wraps. It did not fit, so the corners looked completely unprofessional. When there was a hail damage the window wraps were damaged. They were the first people I called to repair the window wraps. I never paid them for the work that they did. I am hoping they will now support the window. I cannot in good conscience recommend them now.

They were not professional and seemed to be having private conversations, which made me very uncomfortable. It was also way too expensive and they were very high pressure.

I knew that I wanted the fiberglass Marvin windows and they are not offered at a lot of window stores. I had the salesman out to the house and he was professional, knowledgeable and not high pressure at all. We scheduled for about six weeks out and they gave us a more exact date when we got closer to that time. I was impressed by the installers as well. They were professional and communicated well about the progress of the installation.

Everything was done exactly as we were told and on time! Adam Siddiqui was our representative and did a wonderful job explaining the different windows and understanding what we wanted. The windows were in before the date we were given and the installed was super. He even shut the doors down so we did not have so much noise!! He did an excellent job and left no mess behind. Very professional and went over the operation of the windows before he left to be sure we knew how they worked.

The whole experience was great. Alex, their salesman was prompt and courteous. The windows were ordered and delivered when promised. The two installers did and great job and cleaned up. Could not tell they had been there (besides having nice new windows).

It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience.

Windows were measured at least 3 times. Windows did not fit. Rather than order new windows, Bill went to hardware store to buy materials to hide the gaps. Luckily we were home and insisted that he order new windows. We suspect (though never confirmed) that he bought standard windows for our custom sized openings to make more of a profit. New windows were ordered and finally replaced and did fit. Trim pieces were taken to match stain twice. When the trim was put in one of the rooms, the pieces did not match EACH OTHER. Nail heads were not covered. Overall poor job on trim. This job took approximately 1 year start to finish, entirely too long. They did give us a $300 discount for the "inconvenience". Not enough in my opinion.

Very much impressed. Job was completed in a very short time and the crew cleaned up after they finished.
