WILLING GUTTERS

Mickey came out to take a look at a leaking gutter. He gave me a recommendation on how to fix the issue and explained it would be much cheaper for us to do the easy fix in our own versus the cost of having his crew come out. I appreciated his advice and honesty so much. When we do need a gutter repair or new gutters in the future he will be the first person I call. He is seriously one of the nicest guys!

Mickey came out with in a day of my of my initial call for a quote. His quote was the most detailed of the three companies I called for a quote He and his crew arrived at 9 on the day we agreed on and were done by one. Very professional and knowledgeable crew. VERY HAPPY with the work

Mickey was great. He was prompt with the estimate, his price and warranty were better than anyone else. When we noticed a couple of things that needed corrected in the coming weeks he sent his guys back within a day or two and took care of it no questions asked.

Mickey Willing (owner) came out promptly, analyzed the situation and by the following afternoon the job was completed, Mickey and his crew were all great people to work with and the work was perfect.

During the first week of June, I called Willing Gutters for estimates on my house and garage. Mickey Willing came out the next day and was able to calculate the cost right there and then. The estimate seemed very realistic, but as fate would have it, I had just learned that I have a very serious health concern and suddenly several home improvements would have to be reevaluated. It seemed best to share this reason for my indecision in response to a good estimate. Mickey showed great compassion about my concerns and the dilemma I faced, and he suggested that I not try to make important decisions at that time. A broken piece of guttering needed fixed as soon as possible and Mickey said he could repair it very quickly and that it would hold for a long time. He came back the next day and used new fasteners to hold it securely. He would not accept payment for his time nor for the fasteners. He insisted that I think only about getting well and not think about the house at this time. After several tests and advice from some leading doctors I can hope to get well and I look forward to some home improvements and some new gutters. I think Willing Gutters would be a good company to do business with.

We hired Willing Gutters to do gutter work for us a few years ago. There was one modification that needed to be made so there would be a downward slope on the gutter for water to appropriately drain out. I got busy with life and kept putting off contacting Mickey. However, it has been a few years since the work was done and Mickey was great to come back and do the necessary modifications. He also added additional support brackets to our gutters where needed (for no additional cost). We greatly appreciate his level of customer service and follow up! Thank you Mickey! :-)

We got a couple of estimates in late April, and this was the only one that added downspouts and included cover. Given the problems we've had with water in the basement and overflowing gutters, we went with Willing Gutters. I called on a Thursday, and they had a cancellation for the weekend and did the work on Saturday. It took about 5 hours: they removed the old gutters, installed the new ones, took away the old ones, and cleaned up. It's rained several times since then and we've had no water in the basement!

Everything started out great. I needed help quickly and Mickey was the only vendor who called me back within two days (I called five vendors...and only two ended up even calling me back). Bad weather pushed repairs back a few times, but we were finally able to get a date on the calendar. Unfortunately, it was snowing the day of my repair, which isn't the best conditions for this work. I offered to reschedule, but they wanted to move forward, but I didn't think it was the best conditions for the repair given the dropping temp. Prior to the repair date, I was told the minimum charge for repairs was $250, but my project came in under that. Mickey agreed to fix some minor problems with other areas of the gutters until we reached a value of $250. So, the morning of the repairs, I walked the team around the house to show them the areas that needed help. Mickey was not present that day, but it's the same areas I showed him during our estimate walk through. Long story short, they completed the primary repair, but didn't address all the other areas they agreed to. I think bad weather cause them to rush a little. Also, during the repair, they broke an outdoor light fixture and bulb. I wasn't too worry about it given they were both very cheap, but I thought it was odd that they didn't even attempt to pick up the broken glass along my driveway. All and all, I was statisifed with the job at this point even though they hadn't completed everything we'd agreed to. I followed up with Mickey a few days later to tell him about the light bulb/light fixture (which I said wasn't a problem and didn't need to be replaced) and ask when he (or his team) could come back out to finish the work. More bad weather delayed the project, but Mickey and I remained in touch. We spoke about every two weeks and each time he'd tell me he'd come out on a good day to finish the job. I asked if he needed me to call him and remind him - he said no. I did ask they he call before he come out so I could be home when he arrived - he never called or came out. I was the one who did all the calling after the initial follow up the week of the job. It's been a month since I last called Mickey. That time, he told me he was very busy and had some personal matters he was dealing with, but would come out that week or the next. He never came. He never called. I understand work gets busy and we all have family and friends we need to care for. I don't think I needed to get that much detail, but I was OK with his feedback. I am not OK with the fact that it's been approx. three months since he was paid and the agreed to work is not yet complete. I've given up follow up at this point and am addressing the smaller issues with help from friends. It's all really a shame. The initial work was great, and Mickey started out as a great guy to work witj, but over time professionalism and responsiveness went out the window. He got his money from me so my issues were no longer a priority.

We were very pleased with the work done. Mickey Willing (owner) responded to my initial call very quickly and came out later the same day to assess the situation and to write the proposal. The work was done by 2 employees the following day; employees were very courteous and did an excellent job of repairing the one gutter and replacing the second gutter. I highly recommend this service provider!

After vetting several firms I settled on Willing. The owner came and gave me an estimate that was just what I expected and offered to do the job on the same day. The work was done in a timely manner and I even offered that some gutter board might be bad but they said it was all good so I appreciated their honesty. A great firm I would recommend to anyone and would gladly use again.

The back gutter fell down in the morning of 12/11. I called Willing Gutters and received a call back that afternoon. I told him the gutter was totally down so no emergency but wanted an estimate on complete replacement etc. We set a time on 12/12 and he arrived as expected and provided a complete estimate. I asked for him to add the cost of gutter protection and he supplied that the next day along with information about the two systems he recommended. We then walked around the house to discuss concerns I had about the downspout and placement and he made some excellent recommendations. He was very agreeable but still provided guidance based on his experience. As an example, one of the colors we were considering he discouraged because of the look. His reasoning and description really helped. He even offered to bring a larger color sample for us to consider. We talked about the cost of the gutter protection and decided to only protect some of the gutters.We set the install date as 12/17 based on my needs. The crew arrived at 9:30 as agreed with the goal to complete the job by 5:00. They discovered more rotting of wood than anticipated and, working with approval of my husband, repaired the soffit and added metal cladding to prevent problems in the future. Based on the discoveries during the install my husband also agreed to add gutter protection to an additional section of guttering. Because of the additional work, the job was not finished until 7:00 but the entire area was cleared and the job handled extremely well. There was one problem with downspout placement due to a miscommunication. Mickey had the crew return first thing the next day to move the downspout where we had agreed. They arrived as agreed and the job was complete. We are really, really happy with the job.

Mickey Willing came to give an estimate for new 6and quot; seamless gutters. He left a ring of color samples with me. The old gutters had been removed when the house was painted so Willing didn't have to remove the old ones and haul them away. Before the crew started work, I walked around the house with Mickey and the supervisor, discussing options and making decisions. I chose eggshell for the gutters and brick red for the downspouts that crossed the brick. They made a two-tone downspout that crossed both siding and brick! After a rain when I thought there might be a problem, they gladly returned to check it out. (It was roof flashing.) They had been recommended by the person who painted the exterior of my house and garage.

They were very prompt and professional. They had the lowest price of the others that I've looked at. I had some questions about how the direction of the gutters go and they were able to answer those questions. It looks great and has done it's job.

After having trouble getting the original contractor to fix a damaged gutter, I contacted Willing Gutters. Mickey was very nice and provided a quote the next day. His guys were then out to complete the repair two days later.

The gutter across the upper level of the back of my home had fallen during a storm. I called Willing Gutters several weeks ago about repairing it. Unfortunately, the weather and Mr. Willing's having been in the hospital didn't allow him to come out to give me an estimate until last weekend. He was very nice and apologized for the fact that it took him so long to get here. Since he had let me know ahead of time that he was being hospitalized, it wasn't a problem. Besides, the weather had been so bad that the company wouldn't have been able to complete the job until recently. Mr. Willing called me when he was able to come out to give me an estimate. He came on Sunday, evaluated the situation and gave me an estimate of $350. He brought color samples for me to choose from and we were able to match the color very closely. He said his crew would be out by the end of this week, weather permitting. This morning, the crew arrived and went quickly to work. They finished the job quickly and, since I had to leave for an appointment before they finished, said they would just send the bill. They cleaned up the yard and you would never know they were working there. The gutter looks good and, since they added another downspout to alleviate the water weight on one end of the gutter, this should take care of any future issues. Should I need any other gutter repair in the future, I'll certainly call Willing Gutters and will recommend them to my friends.

They did a good job and they were on time. I was happy with the gutters and downspouts.

The crew was very professional, timely and didn't leave a mess. Mr. Willing was very nice, professional, explainatory of the install process and very accomodating to my requests. I feel he went beyond to help me decide the gutter color. I trusted his color recommendation and I am extremely happy with my new gutters.

I had replacing all gutters and soffetts on my home as a job to get done this year. When I had some wind damage to a portion of the gutters, my delaying had to end. I called six vendors identified from Angie's List. Micki Willing was the only vendor to commit to arriving and providing an estimate on the day that I called. The other vendors said that they could be there to provide an estimate in 2 - 5 days. Micki arrived that afternoon. After a detailed inspection and discussion of the work to be performed, he provided an estimate that I believed to be reasonable and complete. As his crew was not available to do the actual for another three days, he had them at my home that evening to take down the damaged gutter and soffett and make temporary repairs so that there would not be further damage. The Willing Gutter crew arrived to perform the actual work at the agreed upon time. They put in a long day and completed all of the work on the same day. They took down all of the existing gutters and soffetts. As there was poor and/or damaged wood behind the existing gutters, they replaced all of that wood with new wood. Even though replacing all of the wood was not a part of the quote, they did so without changing the price for the work. We went with a better quality of soffett and gutter than was there previously. The Willing Gutter crew worked well together as a coordinated team effort and completed a quality job all on one day when they originally expected the job to take more than one day. I am especially pleased with the quality of materials and work performed. I highly recommend them to others. Thanks to Micki and the Willing Gutter company.

This is a great company to do business with, and he did a great job!

Mr. Willing repaired my father-in-law's down spout on his gutter system. The repair was easily made and Mr. Willing performed this service free of charge, even after my father- in-law and he had agreed on a fair price ahead of time. This was such a kind gesture which is seldom seen these days. We would both use this company again and refer to our friends!

One of our gutters was rattling, and the downspout had blown down during a recent storm. We sent an e-mail to them on 3/6/11, and they arrived at approximately noon on 3/7/11. Mr. Willing indicated that they had another job in the area and had decided to stop by. Mr. Willing had a two man crew with him, and had the necessary replacement parts in the truck. The price that they quoted was fair, and I immediately agreed to hire them for this job. They had the problem solved in less than 30 minutes. Mr. Willing's business card indicates "Quality Work in a Timely Manner." I can only say that this was extraordinarily accurate in our case. We would definitely utilize his services again.

We called on December 30th and Mickey came out to our home that same afternoon. After inspecting the gutters he determined that there was not a gutter problem and no work was needed. We really appreciated his honesty and would definitely call them in the future for guttering needs.

Keith, the crew and the owner Mickey arrived at my home at the promised time. They were efficient, professional, and cleaned up after they were done. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

Excellent. Gutter was damaged by ice dam last winter. I first noticed thatit had pulled away slightly in early spring and thought I would get around to nailing it back this summer. I kept procrastinating and by the time I called Mickey at Willing Gutters it had pulled completely away from the house, was bent and pulled and damaged a lot of other things. I talked to Mickey on a Friday afternoon and he came by that same day and left an estimate. I called the following Monday and asked to be put on the schedule. It rained on and off all that week so I didn't expect him to get to it until the following week. I was taking out some trash on Saturday morning and noticed two trucks in front of my house. Mickey introduced himself and told me that they usually don't work on Saturday's, but the forecast said heavy rain was on the way and he wanted to get my problem fixed before the gutter felll and pulled a lot of stuff off with it. Mickey's crew immediately began assessing the problem. They felt that the ice dam, combined with the gutters not being installed properly, caused the problem. They removed everything, checked the rafters for rotting, straightened all of the fascia, made a new gutter, starighted the drip edge and reinstalled everything. It rained all of that night and thenext day. The gutter worked perfectly! I live in an old house and have hired a lot of contractor's to do various projects. This was by far the best experience I have had in long, long time. Mickey didn't try to and quot;selland quot; me a lot of things I didn't need. He is a very freindly guy and his guys know what they are doing. There was a lot more work involved than I had anticipated. They didn't try to and quot;sell' me any things I didn't need and even took thetime tosalvage what they could to save me money. Mickey is very nice man, his guys work hard and steady.
