We discovered in March of 2015, a vertical structural crack that developed from the footer foundation wall below the brick. The crack developed between the patio and the house, and it's about 6-7 feet long. It split many of the bricks along the crack. Since we were apparently a few months outside of the 2-year window we had to report structural issues, the builder was unwilling to do anything and referred us to the warranty company(Quality Builders Warranty Company) they insisted we use. They also did nothing, and we were out an additional $7,500 for having someone come to repair the foundation.

We like their design. They did reasonably well. I'm satisfied with their service. The price was good.

The sales rep was professional and very patient with our questions and modification requests. He helped us through the 'give and take' process to arrive at an acceptable price. He drove all over the Indy metro area to show us models and design options.
When construction commenced, we were handed off to the site construction supervisor. Working with Westport during the build time was truly a pleasure. As the homeowner, I felt like I was part of the process and respected (unlike my experience with a previous builder). The supervisor was very responsive and did not try to always push back on issues that arose. Many times they had started resolving an issue before I noticed it. The designer center for color and material selections was also a positive experience.
I hired an independent inspector who spoke often about the quality in material and workmanship. The inspection findings were minor. I suppose time will tell if the quality is lasting.
I don't think I would build with anyone else if I was in a position to build a new house at this time.

They were fabulous. They were very helpful and wonderful. They answered all of our questions and kept things moving and we had no problems of any kind. They were able to work with our requests to suit our needs and preferences.

If you buy at Villas at Timberstone of Fishers do not believe the sales person. She does not have a real estate license and can say whatever she wants with no repercussions. She lied to several people when she worked at Chapel Woods.
Westport puts up the cheapest product possible and does not care about what happens after the sale. All they do is sell the community and pass the problems along to another builder.

Westport just starting building at Chapel Woods. We have been told several lies buy the sales person. It has been seven years and still no pool or club house has been built. Avoid buying from this company.

THE OVER-ALL BUILD OF THE HOME WENT OK. HAD A FEW MINOR PROBLEMS; DID NOT TELL US THEY WERE GOING TO ELEVATE OUR PROPERTY SO HIGH, LEFT OUR BACK YARD UNSATISFACTORY. COULD HAVE MADE SOME MORE SUGGESTIONS WITH ADD-ONS, SUCH AS MORE WATER SPIGOTS, MORE WINDOWS, 3 CAR GARAGE, ETC. HAVE ALWAYS COMPLETED THE REQUIRED WORK, BUT HAVE TAKEN THEIR TIME ABOUT SOME REPAIRS. OVER ALL, GOOD PEOPLE TO WORK WITH BUT THEY COULD BE BETTER.
