VINNIE THE TILE GUY

Great! First contractor agreed to do without actually physically checking out the project. But I started getting red flags on his ability to do the work. So I called the Vinnie, The Tile Guy. He carefully checked out what needed to be done and provided a fair price! He was responsive, did quality work and was very neat with his work! So happy I went with Vinnie! Would definitely highly recommend him!

Hi hired another tile company to redo our tile around the tub in our bathroom. Less than a year later it developed a crack along the grout line. I erroneously thought The Tile Guy completed the original work for us. I called him and he came out to look at the problem. When he got here, we realized he didn't do the original work. He looked at the problem anyway and removed the grout along the crack and re-grouted it for me for very little cost. What a nice man to fix someone else's poor work. We really appreciated his time and effort today. We would definitely use him in the future for any other work we do.

He was good. He scheduled a day and wasn't able to show up- someone smashed his window. He did send a picture of his car with a smashed window. He payed attention to detail and overall, it didn't take him very long to do it- about two days or a day and a half.

Mr. Roberts was very prompt and would keep me informed daily of his progress. His work was fantastic and he kept true to the written estimate he provided to me, both in time and dollars. At the en I will be using him again for another job within the next 6 weeks. I highly recommend him any ceramic tile work.

excellent. vinnie was true to his word on price and timing. and his price was the lowest bid among many, by a significant amount. he came out when he said he would, charged what he said he would and did a quality job, including extras like trimming in beautifully around door frame, cutting the jamb in order to do it right, cutting the metal end caps on my radiant heat baseboard to fit over tile, and throwing in metal edge piece to finish off tile at door. he prefers using somsething called 'power grout' that can be tricky to work with. some installers don't like messing with it. but it is more durable than most grout, no need to seal which is a great convenience. he also asked my preference on how to lay out the tile - one which centered cut pieces on either side. the other using whole tile and leaving a 2and quot; gap under radiant heat baseboard. i opted for the centering which came out looking great. the only thing that surprised me was that there would have been an extra $50 charge for vinnie to throw away construction debris that i was not aware of. so i will handle it instead. also, just fyi, like most who quoted me a price, i was responsible for getting all supplies. price was for labor only. quality workmanship for great price!

I cannot recommend Vinnie highly enough! This is the second job he has completed for us, as he did a total master bath re-tile (including shower, floor, walls, etc.) 2 years ago. If there is one word to apply to Vinnie: Meticulous!!!! He has incredible attention to detail, is extremely focused and is a perfectionist! Other tile people who have seen his work always comment on the small details. This time he replaced large square ceramic tiles with long, plank, tile boards which look like wood but are ceramic tile. It took Vinnie 2 weeks to complete the job. He picked the tile up for me, laid the concrete board, etc. He's amazing! I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We were very happy with them. We bought the tile separately. He was particularly helpful because we had maybe three boxes of tile and when he opened one up he told us that it didn't match the other two boxes very well even though they were supposed to be the same design. He arranged for the company where we bought the tiles to order another one and came back at a different time to finish the job with tiles that matched. There was no additional charge or anything for the extra time. Other people might have just taken the tile that was there and put it up there and it wouldn't have looked as good, but they put a little bit of extra effort in and we appreciated that. This was the only time we've ever had anything like this done and we were very pleased with him. They made sure that the finish product we had looked nice which meant scheduling another time to come here to put more proper looking tiles up. The punctuality and the scheduling worked out very well. Some of these companies want to do an entire kitchen remodel and this was a smaller job, but they were still willing to do it and they did a really good job. It looked very nice when they were done.

I liked his quality of work. I would refer him to a friend or to family members. I would use his services again in the future.
