The kitchen in our 1923 Meridian-Kessler home had been remodeled several times, most recently in the 1980s. To create a more useful and beautiful space, Brian gutted the room back to the studs, removing as well the worn out tongue and groove flooring. Brian helped with design to optimize the space and worked with a local cabinet maker to ensure the cabinetry had a period feel with modern functionality. He reframed the window opening and custom ordered a window. He worked with Cambria's designers and installers for the quartz countertops. Brian personally ensured all subcontractors performed their work correctly; he advised some of these people when their experience fell short of his perfectionist demands. The masterpiece of the kitchen is in the three-piece crown molding to match the rest of the house. Brian's carpentry skills and attention to detail are second to none.
