VALUE CITY FURNITURE

Went there looking for a couch. After looking around for about 45 minutes we were not asked by anyone if we needed assistance. My wife and I had to go to the counter to talk to someone about a couch, we were told that she would have someone in that department speak to us. So we waited, 30 minutes later no one was there. The store wasn't busy, maybe 5 other customers. We walked out without purchasing anything.

Overall everything has gone very well. I found exactly what I was looking for within the budget I had. Terry was very honest about the furniture I was buying (which is just a guest bed and dinette and the quality is what I expected for the price, although I think the table excceeds my expectations) and I will be picking everything up on Monday! The transaction went very smooth and I was also able to give my concerns about a mattress that I got from the company through a store in Michigan and Terry explained the process for how to handle that and actually helped to reinstate some of my confidence in the company as a whole. Considering that a lot of furniture is exactly the same but sold through different stores/companies (seriously, if you look hard enough you can find just about anything somewhere else) I was very happy with the price and style of what I got.

My husband and I wanted a new sofa set, but didn't have ANY money. We looked around at the furniture stores but didn't have enough money to even consider something. We went to Value City Furniture and found alot of sets within our price range. We also have three dogs, so spending alot of money on something that is going to be really beat up and potentially chewed upon wasn't an option. We found a nice set, and was immediately greeted by the salesperson. He immediately started paperwork, informed us of protection plans we could buy (we declined), and set up the delivery for us within a week or so. The salesperson wasn't pushy, but efficient and nice. I'm still happy with my sofa set over a year later. The quality of their furniture isn't as good as other places, but you get what you pay for. If you are on a tight budget Value City Furniture is great! They delivered our furniture and set it up in no time. Very pleasant experience.

The salesman didn't follow us around but he let us know if there was anything we needed that he would be available. This was great because we could just walk around without any pressure. We would go back again.

NOT A BAD EXPERIENCE. I ASKED FOR ASSISTANCE AND IT TOOK A WHILE FOR SOME ONE TO HELP ME, BUT THEY WERE VERY BUSY. WHEN SOME ONE DID FINALLY COME OVER TO HELP ME I TOLD HER MY PRICE RANGE AND SHE TOOK ME TO THE MATTRESSES I COULD AFFORD. ON THE WAY, SHE STOPPED AT A NUMBER OF MATTRESSES I CLEARLY COULD NOT BUY AND STILL TRIED TO PLUG THEIR BENEFITS. IN MY CASE THOSE BENEFITS COULD NOT ALTER MY BUDGET. NEEDLESS TO SAY I DID NOT PURCHASE MY SET THERE BECAUSE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO EXPENSIVE.

NOT BEING ABLE TO GET FURNITURE, BEING INFORMED THE DAY BEFORE I AM TO PICK UP FURNITURE IT IS NOT AVAILABLE, I BELIEVE THAT THE STORE HAS MORE NOTICE THAN THAT AND I AS THEIR CUSTOMER SHOULD BE GIVEN MORE CONSIDERATION, I HAVE TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO GET A VEHICLE TO PICK UP EQUIPMENT ONLY TO HAVE TO CANCEL IT THE DAY OF SCHEDULED PICK UP.
