Ryan and Kyla Rae were very pleasant to work with. Good selection. Explained the differences in the various Oreck models. Was able to purchase the same day and have been very pleased. Also offer online reminders on annual service and they are a great resource for Oreck (and all other) vacuum or cleaning products. Also received a free bag of Oreck filters.

When I brought in the vacuum it was determined that the vacuum needed a cleaning and new filter, which is what I had expected. Even though I was told there might be a slight delay in getting the vacuum back I was pleasantly surprised that it was done just a couple of days later. Everyone in the shop was helpful and professional. I especially appreciated the fact that the gentleman in the store took the vacuum to the car for me. That was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this store.

The lady who was in the shop immediately told me how old it was and made some comment about it limping along. It is an older vacuum but works quite well. She tested it and said I would likely need to by a new one. essentially she cleaned it and changed a filter and said if that didn't fix it I would need to buy a new one (about $500-$600 for an equivalent). The problem persisted and so I took it to a friend who is an electrician. He quickly identified that the plug was broken and fixed it for about $20. My belief is that Vacuums and More had little interest in fixing my vacuum and instead just wanted to sell me a new one. For that reason I will not go back.

We were pleased and impressed. The staff members were personable and knowledgeable, they communicated well with us and did excellent work in a timely manner and for a fair price.

I took an ancient canister vacuum in for repair (made during the Hoover administration - pun intended) and they fixed it on the spot within 30 minutes. Staff was very professional and courteous.

This place is great. They got me another couple of years out of my Dyson, which I use 2-3 times per week, when I thought it was worn out. It's a family business and they are very knowledgeable and helpful,great customer service, which is practically non-existent anymore. I will be buying my new vacuum from them!

Our Dyson vacuum quit operating--power would come off and on. Called Dyson who advised taking it to one of two repair shops; chose Vacuums and More based on Angie's List ratings. Took the unit in to the store; the gentlemen there plugged it in, fooled with the power cord for a second, and said the cord had a short. They installed a new cord (that's even longer than the original) and the vacuum was ready the next day. Friendly folks; quick and complete service. We will use them again if needed.

Took Dyson vacuum in for repair as it was making a very loud noise and brush bar would not turn. I expected to leave the vacuum and pick up another day, but Gerald quickly diagnosed the problem and had it repaired in about 15 minutes. The replacement parts were Dyson brand, and there was no charge for labor. I was very pleased and highly recommend this business. I plan to take my other vacuum in soon for a tune-up.

Impressed with their professionalism and helpfulness.

Found some dressmaker pins stuck in the hose and removed them and returned my vacuum to me without a charge. I appreciate their willingness to help as much as possible. I will certainly use them again, as I have in the past, and maybe purchase a better vacuum there. (They also have two gorgeous Golden Doodles who provide free entertainment while you wait!)

The gentleman could have easily upsold me on higher end bags but he was honest in telling me what would work just fine for me. When I mentioned wanting a new vacuum, he went above and beyond to show me the different types of vacuums I should try out based on the type of flooring and house I have (ie- stairs, wood, carpet, etc). The showroom has different types of flooring so he let me test a few of them on different surfaces to see which one I liked. He was very nice and knowledgeable about everything related to vacuums. I will definitely go back here when I'm ready to purchase a new vacuum and will continue to go here for vacuum parts and tune-ups!

I had no suction with my new Dyson cleaner, mostly operator error. He noticed the belt was not completely seated and fixed that problem. He gave me a few operating instructions, and did not charge me. It was easy to go right on line and schedule an appointment. He was professional, quick, efficient, and knowledgeable,

Vacuums & More at 5333 E 82nd St, is the best! I have a Kirby 2000, so this vacuum is 14 years old. Paid a lot of $$ for it back then, but have never had any trouble with it. My vacuum's plug went bag (due to, no doubt, my yanking it from the wall socket many times). Ryan (mom & son team) took it out of the car for me. I told him what I needed & he quoted me a $$ right away. He asked if I had a few minutes to stick around. I thought he was going to take it back & then let me know when I could pick it up. So I spent about 10 min. petting their very calm, gorgeous light brown labradoodle (I think) as my heart just melted. Even took a photo to show my daughter. :) 10 minutes later he brought it out done! He also showed me the brush & said I'd need to replace that in about a year or so. Wow! Great service, good prices, super friendly, and no sales pitch. I will definitely be coming back for any vacuum needs and telling my friends about it. Do not hesitate to go here! They are the best!

Unfortunately my Hoover was too old to find parts for but I was still very satisfied with the professional, prompt and very plesant service and advice I got.

Vacuums and More did a great job for us! We took our vacuum in to have it looked at and they were able to fix it on the spot, while we waited, for a very reasonable price. Compared to the cost and wait of replacing a vacuum, we couldn't be happier with the service we received and the price we paid. We absolutely recommend Vacuums and More.

I called the following Saturday and found out my Dyson was ready for pickup. They plugged it in when I arrived to show me it was working properly. I went home and immediately vacuumed. They did a great job and it works like brand new! I'd highly recommend this place to fix Dyson vacuums. In the future, I'm going to take my vacuum there to get a full cleaning, which they said would cost around $40. I'm hoping my vacuum lasts at least another 5 years (or longer)!

We were having issues with our dyson making a loud obnoxious noise. we brought it in to the shop and they said it would be about $180 to rebuild it. coincidentally the day before i had seen a demonstration online between a Dyson & Riccar vacuum after a german shepherd rescue shared it on social media. we have two shepherds and was curious if the Riccar would be worth investing in. we ended up not having our dyson serviced and bought a Riccar. Ryan showed us different models, when to bring it in to be serviced, how to replace bags, etc. he is very knowledgeable. we got home and it was totally worth the money. this vacuum gets all the dog hair left behind from the dyson and then some. very happy we went to vacuums & more.

In the midst of a cleaning frenzy, my beloved Dyson vacuum stopped working. Eeek! My husband took it to Vacuums and More. The fellow there knew immediately what was wrong and fixed it for no charge! How cool is that?! Will definitely go back for any vacuum needs. What a great business. A+.

The company I had used closed their location near me. I searched your website & found this company who was close. I called to find out where they were located. I told them the vacuum had lost suction. She told me that due to weather problems that it might be about a week once I got it in there. Due to weather I was unable to get it in until 1/17/14. My belt was broken & the brushes were full of hair. The gentleman explained everything & said it would be approximately $70. I told him what I had been told on the phone & he said no it wouldn't take a week, he thought I could get it back on Monday. I called Monday morning & he said they had just finished with it. He showed me everything they did & they had all the old parts in a bag to show me. I purchased a package of bags which elevated the cost a little but I was very impressed with the personnel at this store, the fact that the price was very close to what he had quoted me & I will most certainly recommend them to anyone who might ask & I will most certainly return to this vendor should I need further service.
