Description of Work: I received a call back after leaving several messages that I was refered to them by Angie's List and Tucker Home Services, to state someone would call me but I never heard back from anyone so I used Steven's Roofing instead.

Description of Work: I had them check for hail damage as another roofer said I needed a new roof. I had used Universal before and trusted them to tell me whether I had damage or not.

Description of Work: I had a need for an emergency repair on two locations on my roof. I called Universal and they were out to look at the roof within 48 hours (the forecast was for sunny days all week so they didn't need to be their immediately) and were very forthright about the condition of my roof overall, but instead of trying to sell me a complete new roof offered to fix the current issues and then help me manage the roof's condition until we could handle total replacement. I agreed to that plan, he checked the forecast (lots of rain on Saturday) and said they'd be out Friday. His crew showed up on time, worked efficiently and were finished in 90 minutes or so. They fixed two leaks, repaired two pipe boots, caulked all the vents and cleaned out a 2nd story gutter that was clogged. All this for $350. I will definitely use them again and I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: The provider was very willing to work with us regarding payment and were nothing but accommodating. The crew arrived on time and finished our entire home in eight hours. They cleaned up very well and even helped us to install and seal off the chimney pipe for a wood burning stove we were installing in our garage at the time. The owner made sure to stop by and check on the project and there was a foreman present at all times to help make sure the project went smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about this company!

Description of Work: We used Universal Roofing for gutter repair. It was the installation of new 6 inch gutters which included EZ lock gutter screens.

Description of Work: Received damage to home from storm, was provided a quote for roof, gutters and touch up painting. All work was performed and looks great. Rob Yeary (owner) came by to check quality of the work completed. He was very helpful with the questions I had to get everything processed properly with mortgage co and insurance. Also, Sharon in the office was great to work with. Would recommend there services to others.

Description of Work: Mr. Yeary came out promptly to a**** our hail damage. He arrived on a Monday and said he would have his quote back to me by Wednesday. I also emailed him a week later with my insurance company's appraisal. Repeated efforts to get him to reply have gone unanswered. Not a professional.

Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment for a Thursday, and called in the morning to confirm my appointment at 1 pm. 2 pm rolls around and still no one is there... I called and they told me they had a system issue that caused me to get overlooked, and asked if I could reschedule the next day. Since I took the afternoon off to be there I insisted that someone come out for my estimate. He finally arrived at 5:45, just in time for my family to sit down for dinner. He went out and looked at my roof from the ground and diagnosed 5 problem areas that might be causing my leak. My husband doesn't buy the fact that he could tell without getting on the roof or at least a ladder... Doesn't matter because it has been 2 weeks and I haven't heard from them since. No follow-up, no estimate. I guess I will start over the search for another roofer.

Description of Work: Inspection determined the problem was actually with our HVAC system and not the roof. He also pointed out that we will need to replace roof in a year or so...so we plan to use them when the time comes.
