They were not the cheapest but we were impressed with their professionalism and knowledge of the work. They were great to work with and did great job. They cleaned up every day and were respectful of our home and property.

Universal Roofing replied quickly to our request for a price quote. Shane Yeary immediately sent an e-mail proposal and the company was easy to reach. The men did a great job, and they were very nice. Our only concerns were that they came late in the day for the scheduled job, and didn't finish until 9:30 pm. This late finish time meant that the clean-up was not complete (a problem as we didn't want our child playing around cigarette butts, nails and pieces of metal). The other issue we had with the workers is that they broke the handle off of our grill and didn't tell us. We called the company to discuss this, and everyone was very nice. One of the workers came around to try to fix the grill, but it really couldn't be done. Nothing was taken off of the quote. Other than that issue, we're very pleased with our new gutters.

Roof was damaged in hail storm. Rob and Randy gave me a fair estimate to replace roof and gutters on two story home. They did not cut any corners. Flashing around chimney and windows was top notch. Clean up was very good.

The work was extremely professional. They seemed to be very knowledgeable about the whole roofing issue and the neighbors commented on the quality of the work as they watched. I thought the price was extremely good and they were quite nice to work with. Top quality.

The job went very well - it took 3 days. All the workers were enjoyable to have around. Owners checked the job each day. The yard was cleaned up each evening and cleaned very well at the end of the job. The quality of the work was excellent! I would recommend them to anyone!

We had a new roof put on 2 years ago. The installation company could not fix it, so I called Universal. I was pleased with his attitude and the quality of work. I requested pictures and a narrative of what the problem was, but have not received it yet. I would like them to follow through with my request or at least return my phone call.

Although I was very pleased to receive a quick response back, I was extremely disappointed in how the response was delivered. The caller was extremely curt, simply stating, "The owner is not interested", with no explanation offered.

They did a fantastic job. Very prompt and they worked efficiently.

Was told they their schedule was busy and I would need to wait about 2 weeks. I went with another bid in the meantime. I was impressed with their responsiveness. They returned my online inquiry within 30 minutes.

I thought my gutters needed to be replaced, but they said that the gutters were fine. Given the chance to replace gutters that did not need to be replaced, I appreciated their honesty.

From the first time I met with Rob Yeary, I was very pleased. He was very polite and professional. He checked both inside and outside for the leak problem. He explained everything that was happening and how to correct the problem. They did a great job, his employees were very hard workers and did a great job cleaning up.

Has gone very well overall. Very service oriented, good communications and follow through on commitments. We have had some leaking issues associated with the flat room, that as it turned out are independent of the work they performed. But they have been very responsive and helpful to us in working to resolve this issue. Crew worked hard and got the job done on schedule.

Overall experience was good. This company demonstrates good character. The crew was efficient and the clean up both days was exceptional. We would use Universal again.

Their workmanship was good. The person in charge spoke English and could community to his Spanish workers exactly what needed to be done. They went above and beyond my expectation.

It took them a long time to get here but that was because of the number of hail damaged roofs. They were extremely professional. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. They worked within the guidelines of the insurance claim. I have nothing negative to say about them. Rob Yeary, owner, took personal interest in the job and was on site many times. Basically a really good business operation.

Fantastic! Highly recommend! They came out the day of our initial call. They advised us on two ways the leak could be repaired. We chose the cheaper option with the understanding it may not be enough. Unfortunately it wasn't enough. When we called back to report the leaking continued they were back within days (it would have been sooner, but we had snow). They then spent an entire Saturday making the more extensive repairs, so it would be completed before an expected snowfall the next day. We were not charged for the original repairs. The owner, as well as the employees, were very courteous and showed pride in their work. We will use them anytime we should need roofing done. Thanks.

A+, quality job! I was kept informed of status and all questions were answered. Minor problems were corrected immediately. This company is proud of their work and stands behind what they do!

They were very polite and gave me and estimate that was well thought out and covered everything it needed to cover with out trying to oversell me. It included a break down of the work, a copy of their Better Business Bureau report and a copy of their insurance. It was complete and professional. They made observations and pointed out issues about my house that had no financial interest for them.

Mr. Boggs, (Universals sales rep.)was very quick to respond to my initial call. He was pleasant and informative, however, after I accepted his bid he was somewhat difficult to contact. The estimated price was not great but was competitive. The work was performed a few weeks later in a very satisfactory manner. A billing error occurred resulting in a several hundred dollar deviation from the expected price. I paid the invoice and noted I was unhappy with the price. Almost immediately the owner of the company called to apologize and correct the error.

This has been a crazy year to try to get a roof replaced but ours really needed it after aging and the recent hail storms. Universal was able to work us into their schedule and was responsive to clarifications and other requests. Most of the work was done in a couple of days with some detailed sealing, etc. that took one worker another week or so. The quality of the work was confirmed by a home inspection company who was so impressed with Universal's attention to detail that they wanted to recommend them to some customers of theirs who needed roofing/gutters installed. Universal was responsive to the short list of follow-up items created by the inspection and I felt good paying them for their work. Rob and Randy installed a number of fixes (flashing, etc.) that corrected long-standing problems created by shortcuts taken when the house was built. Overall, they did a great job.

They were out within a day or two to look at the roof and provided an estimate in the mail about four weeks later.
