They were on time for the job. They did excellent work. We haven't found anything that is not excellent quality. The owner was extremely helpful and personable. They were very reliable.

They are honest, they do what they say they are going to do. Every night they cleaned up all areas, were here every morning as promised, very respectful to trees, plantings, drives and us. This is a quality company that you can trust!

They were very professional. They moved swiftly. They came and did it all in one day. They cleaned up very well. I would recommend them very highly and I would use them again.

I like them because they were prompt and came back and did things afterwards and didn't like that they dropped heavy things on the roof, but they apologized and they were good.

Overall I chose them because of Angie's list and because of the location. They did a very good job at repairing some structural damages in the house caused by leaks.

They originally installed the pop up drain incorrectly but finally corrected the problem. The price was over 10,000. Be sure to put specific wording in the contract proposal or they may not do what you want them to do.

They performed the work quickly and cleaned up after they finished. After they were done I noticed two things that I felt needed adjustment. They came out and took care of those small issues the same morning I called.

They did a wonderful job and did it in a day and a half. They were great to work with. I would call them again but doubt that I'll have to. I actually got calls from neighbors stating how beautiful the roof is.

I wasn't initially satisfied with the chimney caps, but they came back promptly and fixed the problem and did a very good job. They did everything else very well. Overall, I was happy with the job.

They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Excellent supervisor was on site during project. They took a sample of the shingle that I have, put them up on my roof and allowed me to make a decision between 2 that I compared. It was very helpful. The shingle I did choose was the top one that was available. It had a 50 year warranty. Also had a new roof fan installed during this project.

It went very well. They were responsive to my initial phone call, they showed up on time, the men that did the work were professional, he did the work right, but there was the shutoff of the old downspout, but he came back the next day and fixed the problem.

Great! The crew showed up on time and started by laying down tarps to protect my landscaping and yard. They managed to work around an afternoon storm and must have done an excellent job of tarping the roof during the rain because I didn't see any sign of moisture in the attic. They ended up needing to come back the next day for an hour to finish up, but did a good job of cleaning up after Day 1. All in all, we're extremely happy with the new roof and were very pleased with the entire experience. They even replaced a screen on one of my storm windows that had a slight tear (probably happened during the shingle removal) free of charge without any hesitation. I've already recommended Universal to several of my neighbors considering having roof work done. And they somehow managed to pick up every nail without missing any.

They were easy to make an appointment with and they were easy to work with. They cleaned up their mess. Some of my shrubs were damaged by them and a limb of a tree was broken off from them dropping shingles down. We had a problem after the roof was replaced. It leaked when it rained but they did come out and fix the leak in the roof and they sent a painter out to repair the damage to the ceiling.

They did more than what we asked them to without asking us to pay more. They helped up resolve our problems with other contractors. Overall, we are just very happy with the job they did.

They were pretty good, but when they were coming to do the repairs we were to leave shingles out but they showed up early. We had to call them to come back and repair a couple things.

They helped me through the whole process, they did whatever it took, I felt that I could trust.

I ad an aging roof before the tree fell and punched a hole. Angie's List gave me 3 names (Universal among this group) I was much more impressed by folks on the phone & the person call at my house, I am extremely glad to have used Universal exteriors.

Excellent - our roof was aging rapidly because the original company that put the roof on completed it on "the cheap". Poor ventilation led to cracked, curled and worn shingles. The crew came out and completed the work on time. During the work, we discovered that the plywood under layer was cut too short and instead of re-cutting a correct size, they nailed a 5 inch strip at the top, which split when the ridge vents were installed. The crew made the necessary adjustments to ensure the vents would hold. They also cleaned out most of the gutters when they finished the work.

They gave me an estimate on new gutters and I hired them for that. I was very pleased with the work done as well as the guys who performed the work. I would give them an 'A' for the gutters but I have to give a 'B' on the roof as the problem was diagnosed incorrectly.

Superior company. Arrived for estimate quickly, and provided a timely estimate. All questions were responded to quickly. Quality work was performed.

They did a good job and I would use them again. The only downside is that I had asked for a quote on a entire new roof which I never received. So I will have to call them back.

Everything worked out pretty well. They seemed to take care of everything. We were happy with them.
