Estimator (the owner) was punctual, nice, and professional. Very straightforward with no sales BS. Got up in the attic to assess the needs, suggested the scope of work and got back to me the next day with an estimate. It was right in line with others I had received, but I felt the explanation of how we needed to install baffle boards to ensure proper soffit ventilation was more thoroughly understood. They came a few days later and the work was completed in about a half a day. No problems whatsoever. Obviously, blown attic insulation isn't the most glamorous, or probably the most difficult thing to install, but Universal was top notch in every way.

They did excellent, a great job. Nothing is leaking now, no problems. They were timely and cleaned up everything.

They were the cheaper of 2 bids I received by over $2,000. Rob Yeary came to my house around 1:00 PM and by 4:00 PM; I had already received their proposal by email. Wow! Rob was very professional and came out at the end of the day the shingles were torn off and replaced to check on how things went. I had absolutely no complaints. They showed up on time and their crew chief was professional, educated and spoke English. Everything was cleaned up after wards. I went around the house with a trash can expecting to fill it with debris, but literally found less than a shoe box full of shingles and only 2 nails. Amazing. The gutters were installed on time and look great. The painter was a sub-contractor, but he was also very good. I would absolutely use these guys again and recommend them to others. Professional, timely, and I felt like I was a valued customer from the very beginning. I was not billed for any portion of the job until it was completed.

The man who came out to give us a quote was very personable. We had a recommendation that told us that Universal was one of the best roofing companies in state. I thought the price was going to be higher than the quote turning out being. They are a very reputable company with good customer feed back and I look forward to working with them

Work was completed in 2 days. They replaced the rotted trim around the chimney and some of the soffits as well.

They replaced the roof several years ago and did a great job. This time they replaced it and their workmanship was less than satisfactory. They did not do a very neat job. They left some shingles with a bulge in them. It was partially repaired by a tech with Universal but not completely. My past experience was very satisfied but not this experience.

From quote to finish, professional, friendly, on-time, stayed in touch, accomodated the date of service to my schedule (and the rain!). I am very satisfied. It was roof repair, but some day when I need an entire roof, I will contact them again!

They were the cheapest of 3 estimates. Replaced roof in timely manner and completed thorough clean up.

They came out a day or two before it was going to rain to do some temporary work so my roof wouldn't keep leaking. They did not charge me for the temporary work. They were there to repair it when they said, and they also did a very good job.

We called Universal on a Wednesday to see if they could give us an estimate on a full re-roofing job. They were very pleasant and accommodating and agreed to come out within the next couple of days when we weren't home to estimate the job. By Friday, two days after we called, I had an e-mailed quote and by Saturday, I received an envelope with the quote and several other items, including proof of insurance, customer referrals, and their Angie's List award. While we did not use their services this time, their professionalism and responsiveness was great and we will definitely keep them in mind for our next need.

They did an exceptional job. They were the lowest bid of three quotes. The price was very good. They even did the gold sealing at no additional charge, which is normally $300. The owner himself even came out to oversee and inspect the rafter part of the job. I needed some additional insulation, so they gave me a good price at doing blown-in fiber glass insulation in my attic. They gave me the best price for what I was looking for. I would use them in the future and would recommend them to others.
