They did every thing excellent. I found them on Angie's List and it went great. We had two other estimates, but they were the best. They were very polite and very nice people. They worked very efficiently.

I called to have someone give us an estimate on how much it would cost to fix a leak in our roof. We'd had terrible storms and water was leaking into one of our bedrooms. They came out on Friday, 5/1/09, and gave me an estimate of $275-300. I asked when it could be fixed. He told me he would try to send someone out Saturday. If not, it would be Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Sure enough, Saturday morning the crew arrived and fixed the leak in the roof in about 15 minutes. That was fantastic, considering all the rain we have had in the Indy area. My roof is now leak free!

Really well after initial snafu with communication.

I called them and let the girl I spoke with know I was calling based on their Angie's List ratings. They asked if it was a repair or replacement, and I let them know if was a significant repair. She promised to have someone call me back, and I never heard back from them. I suppose the project was not large enough for them, but they never got back to me to let me know. They gave me the impression that my job was too insignificant for them. I would have appreciated them at least letting me know, and I would not consider using them again.

These guys are awesome. I got three price quotes and they were right in line with the others. They are very honest and very concerned about customer satisfaction. The crew was hard working and they were also very good about cleaning up. After the job was completed, I found a couple of things that I did not think were perfect and they came right back out and made sure to fix things to my satisfaction. They really cared about making sure I was satisfied with the job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We did have to wait a number of weeks for them to do the work (had a lot of rain). Since we can not see on top of our roof, we can only assume/hope that they have fixed out problem.

He was very courteous and knowledgable. He went the extra mile for me. He said to call back if I was still experiencing the leak. I would definitely hire him in the future.

They were very helpful and the whole experience was good. They did everything they said they would and were very professional.

They found a place where the bathroom vent had a dead bird in it which created a problem of the water leaking into a room for sometime. They fixed it and everything seems good. We only had to pay for the material.

Overall the job was done very well. It was done on time and per specifications. Pricing for roof replacement was similar to other roofing contractors but Universal Roofing had the most detailed quotation. The roof replacement also included a five year workmanship warranty.

Fantastic, we were out of town and he called us with details during the whole thing including going into the house after the huge wind and rain storms to check for leaks and went into our basement to check our sump pump, Rob is a very personable and takes great pride in his work and his crew was likewise. Our neighbors were also impressed on the job and the 2 days it took to replace the whole roof down to new wood and bringing vents up to new codes. they are touching up paint right now and his last words were if your happy I'm happy...highly recommend.

They completed the contracted services. It appears to be good work.

Rob Yeary was very quick to schedule the estimate. I walked the roof with Rob and he presented me with several options. He gave me an estimate on the spot and followed up with a detailed paper estimate a few days later. After getting some other estimates I knew that Universal was the company for me. Universal negotiated with me on the pricing of the guttering to secure the deal. I picked my color the following week and the roof went on the next Friday. Rob was on site several times throughout the day and his foreman were second to none. He uses a least three crews on each job. There is a tear-off crew, a crew for shingling and a crew for finish work. They continually cleaned the site. The crew worked 12 hours straight to get the roof watertight before an impending storm. Wayne and his helper came back the following Monday to finish up some trim carpentry, chimney wrapping and punch list items. The gutter contractor also came the same day. Very pleased with the roof, gutters and the carpentry repairs. Totally changed the look of my house.

From the begining, communication and professionalism was exceptional. Their attention to detail and followup were excellent. This goes from sales all the way through cleanup. The installion crew as very professional. They suggested upgrading the attic insoluation while the roof was off. This was an outstanding suggestion and paid big dividends over this winter.

They came out AND completed the work on the day I called them. They went to the hardware store to find a great color match for my shingles. They gave me a pack to keep so I now have some matching spares. Very happy with the work!

They showed up quickly, and went right to work and did what they needed to do. Because they were here already, I asked them to inspect the whole roof. They are getting back to us with an estimate for the suggested repairs. I have recommended them to others and have been happy with their work in the past.

Universal was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. I had been out of town during an ice storm which had forced the melting ice and rain from an ensuing storm to seep up and under the shingles, finding a huge gap in the roof which allowed the water to pour into the attic and through the ceiling. The water damage included a hole in the ceiling, water stains, completely soaked carpet and padding. After contacting Universal, the office immediately returned my call and advised that though they were swamped with similar leaky roof calls, they would make sure someone contacted me within 24 hours. True to their word, Rob Yeary called me to schedule a time to assess the damage and prepare an estimate. Upon arrival, Rob took one look at the roof and realizing it was new (I had it replaced in 2006) he advised me to contact the contractor who replaced the roof as he felt it was quite likely that the repairs would be covered under their warranty. He told me I didn't owe him anything. I immediately called the contractor who put the new roof on and guess what? Out of business! I called Rob and advised him of such and he immediately returned to my home and began assessing the damage. Rob took the time to explain to me what had caused the damage, how he would repair it and what he would do to secure the property to assure no further water damage occurred. Though the weather continued to be challenging (we had yet another ice storm after Rob's initial visit and sub-zero temps as well), Rob's team came out the next day to affix a tarp to the roof to assure no further water damage to the premises. When the claims adjustmer for my homeowner's advised that they would pay for the interior water damage but NOT for the external repair of the roof - because the damage was caused by inferior workmanship on the part of the previous roofing contactor and not a covered peril - Rob worked with me to refine his estimate so that the proceeds of my homeowners policy would cover the external repairs in full and most of the interior repairs. Everything but the carpert and padding has been replaced/repaired. As soon as there was a break in the weather forecast, Rob called to arrange for his team to come out to repair the roof, promising that he'd later send a team to address the interior repairs. Rob's roofing team showed up when they said they would and did everything we had discussed. They were so thorough in their clean-up that the only evidence they had been there was that the tarp was gone and there wasn't any water coming into the house! Rob's painting team later contacted me to arrange for the interior repair. They showed up exactly when they said they would and did an excellent job of repairing the ceiling and painting the entire area. Unless you knew where to look, you wouldn't be able to tell there was any damage -- and even then, it would be really hard to tell any difference.

They did a nice job. It cost a lot more than the original estimate because the underpinnings were not in good shape, but they did a nice job. They had to tear the roof down to the bones, and it looked very nice when it was done. They worked hard and were very polite, and I haven't had any trouble with the roof since then.

Rob Yeary did a fantastic job. He worked with us on educating the buyer of the home of what to expect in the repair of water intrusion on the walls. We were not able to close on the home until the repairs were completed. The buyer was not willing to close without unrealistic proposals being made. Real estate agents for both sides were unable to calm the buyer's fears. Rob took the time to meet with the buyer to explain in detail of what needed to be done to correct the problem. We needed 40 degree weather to complete the work. Rob squeezed us into his schedule when it was already full last week (we had two 40 degree days) and got the job done. He also checked the home just prior to closing to make sure there were no concerns . Rob was very professional, knowledgeable and can work through difficult situations. He has outstanding people and problem solving skills. Rob also followed up on the job and appeared at the worksite. He was worth every penny we paid him. We would highly recommend him to others. He did everything he said he was going to do with excellence. He was a blessing to us.

Everything was good, I've worked with them before and they did a fine job then also.
