They came out early in the morning and got the work done. The work was done properly. There were a couple clean up details missed but they also fixed a couple things that they were not hired to do.

It went very well. They are very knowledgeable, honest, prompt, and they came highly recommended as well.

Rob came out and reviewed my roof. Rob said I did not need a new roof even though another roofing "door knocking" company said I did. I would highly recommend Universal Roofing. Universal Roofing will definitely have my roofing business in the future.

They were put off by a lot of rain we had in June so it was into July before they could come and do the job. Even on the week they did it they were put off by some of the prospect of rain, if not rain itself. They were polite, neat and on the last day ... 5 days instead of the projected 2 or 3 ... the boss came along and told them to work until done ... which they did, not finishing until 8:30 or 9:00 pm but without sacrifysing quality of work. I did use the coupon on Angie's list ... every little bit off helps ... and of course my insurance paid for most of the job. we had to wait until my insurance adjuster returned from vacation of something to get the last check, but Universal was patient with me and waited without panic which was more than I did. A great job from nice folks.

They did excellent work. Very Professional. They were also the lowest bid of the three bids we got from three roofing contractors.

They came out as planned and were polite and punctual. From there, I had to call after never receiving the actual estimate. Once I did, part of the work estimate was missing. I called/wrote more than four additional times for a corrected estimate. Each time, I was told to expect a call back and never did. They mentioned that they had some recent employee departures and that this was the primary reason for the subpar customer service.

Called for quote on some repairs to fascia, soffit, and gutter on mu house. I set up an appointment for Randy to come give me an estimate. He never showed. I called the company 30 minutes after he was to arrive, and was told that someone would contact Randy and call me right back. I never received a call back either.

A guy came out and looked at the chimney. He gave me an estimate to replace the flashing and several roof tiles, which was fine. I was supposed to get a written estimate, but I never received it. I emailed and also called about signing off on the repair work order and starting the job. However, I never got any response.

The appointment was scheduled for a Monday. They called and cancelled that appointment because they had an emergency. I understand things happen, so I said "No, problem. Let's just reschedule." We rescheduled for Friday. Come Friday, no one showed up and no one called to cancel or let me know they wouldn't be there. It's frustrating because I take time out of my schedule to sit around and wait for them. The ladies I spoke with in the office were very nice and respectful. The company was also professional in booking the appointment. I would give them an 'A' there. However, I am displeased with the cancelling of appointments, and most importantly, no one calling me the second time. For that, I give them an 'F' which resulted in my overall score of a 'C.'

They came out promptly and gave me an estimate. They were supposed to fix it the next day. I was not home when they did the repair, but so far, no water has leaked in that I am aware of.

First, we never received an estimate so we had to contact them multiple times to see if they would actually come out. Someone did finally come out and he was very nice and friendly and knew what he was talking about and so we figured everything was good. He left promising us an estimate and also to look into our past repair to see what they could do. We heard about the hail storm in April and knew they were busy - although our issue predated the storm but we had a temporary fix so that was OK. But that was the last time we ever heard from them. Repeated emails and phone calls were not returned and we never received an estimate. We called a couple of other companies after that and already have an estimate so we will go with someone else. Understand that people get busy but getting no response is just unacceptable.

He did all the organizing. He scheduled the job and went out of his way. I am very happy with what the service The service was excellent. It was like clock work. Every worker would be considered a supervisor on any other roofing group because they were so experienced. They replaced the roof using durable shingles. It comes with a lifetime warranty. They came in the morning. They had a dumpster in my driveway. They started to tear away everything. They did an ice and water layer, starter shingles, and then installed the roof. They did a roof over the main house, patio, front entry way, and garage. They did four different roofs. They cleaned up well. They did an excellent job cleaning all the debris and nails around the home. They did notice about six or eight shingles on my garage that would not lie down properly. They brought the supplier and manufacture to look at the problem. They were very attentive to the situation. When they determined that it would not work, they re shingled it on the spot, that day. They were all professional and experienced. It was a pleasure to work with them. The service was excellent.

Mike showed up on time to take a look at a leaking roof on my garage. He was very polite, pleasant, and knowledgeable. After taking a look at the roof, he said there were a couple things that he could do such as replace the roof or just fix the part where the leak was located; however, he also said that I could perform the repair myself for much less. He took the time to explain how to do it on my own and wrote down the steps. He even offered to walk me through it on the phone (which I may still take him up on). I appreciate the honesty and the fact he didn't try to sell me something i did not need. I will definitely give him a call next time I need services his company provides.

After 2 months of communication I got an email from Mike saying he would be here Monday May 27th. That didn't happen. He didn't respond to emails. His voicemail was full. Sharon at the office was wonderful and tried to help out, but Mike just kept letting me down. I was told they would be out the end of the next week. No show. Then I called again and talked to Sharon. Thursday of the following week was the new date for the roof. Still no communication with Mike. FINALLY Mike calls me on Friday and tells me that he is working in the office all day Saturday and he will call me so that we can get the colors chosen to begin work this week (we hadn't chosen our colors yet, so that is why there was the holdup Mike told me). Saturday comes and no Mike. Voicemail box actually had room so left a message. No return phone call. On SUNDAY he calls and tells me I misunderstood...we weren't going to choose colors, we were going to schedule a DATE to choose colors. (so basically he called me on Saturday to tell me he was going to call me on Sunday? Yeah I don't think so) I called Monday and left a voicemail that I wanted to hear back from him by the end of the day or we are finished with this company and moving on to another one. So here I am, 3 months later, and no progress and nothing to show for it but frustration. Learn from my experience- DO NOT WORK WITH MIKE if you choose to use Universal Roofing.

The service was exceptional. Everything was done in a very professional manner and the clean-up was excellent. They return calls quickly and they come out to the house willingly when you need them. No question is too small to ask them. They also have a large amount of information about their products and services which was very helpful. I would highly recommend them. Everything was perfect!

We originally contacted them last year and determined the type roof we wanted. We elected to wait until this Spring to have the work done . When we contacted them this Spring we found there was a price difference. Rob came out and said that they would honor the price we were given and they set a time to begin. We were very happy that they worked with us on that, and it made us feel they were a very reputable company. We were so pleased with the job they did and the professionalism . We have many flowers and shrubs around our house and we could not believe that they did not damage that first thing. They cleaned up after they were finished and did an excellent job. We cannot say enough good things about Universal Roofing and we have already told several people about the wonderful job they did. Our roof looks beautiful and we are beyond happy.

Upon scheduling the roof work to be done, we had an event at the house on Saturday Afternoon. They had scheduled to do the roof on Friday. I questioned whether they could really get it done in a single day. They insisted that they could. The workers showed up promptly on Friday, but did not get to installing the new roof that day. They came back Saturday morning. I informed them that they had to leave at noon as I had guests arriving. Rob Yeary himself was at my home at the time and even opened the doors for my guests to come in. They left as I requested and returned to complete work on Sunday. Afterwards there was miscellaneous flashing and trim work that needed to be completed. It took them nearly a YEAR to complete this work. Through repeated correspondence and effort, i got them to come and complete the work on 11/10/09. Overall, my experience was time consuming and annoying. However, I greatly appreciate Rob's willingness to make everything right and installed to my satisfaction.

I am not impressed with their level of communication or commitment for my last service call. After the estimator failed to show in 1 hour, I contacted their office to determine what was going on. I gave them my number and was told to expect a call back from the estimator. I received no such call. I called back them back 2 hours after calling this morning. I explained my situation and when they pulled up my record, there was no scheduled appointments for me and was asked yet again to reschedule. I found this to be unacceptable, so I declined. At that time, I was informed by the representative on the line that their scheduling system had a problem and lost several days of appointments. (please consider a robust backup system!)

I called and left a message 4/24/13 to get an estimate for roof and gutter replacement. Universal scheduled an estimate appointment at 10:00 am May 1st. They called back when they found a scheduling conflict because of an insurance adjuster and asked to move the appointment to 11:30 on the 1st. I said no problem. On the 1st 11:30 came and went with no one showing up. I called at 12:40 and was told they would check it out and call me back. Mike returned the call, said there had been a mix up and he could do a eagle view estimate online and would email it to me by Friday. It is May 20th and I never did hear back from him or anyone with an estimate. I understand that there was a hail storm right before my contact and I was not a priority but I did not feel they were interested in my business and I am not interested in theirs at this point. They might do great work but their service left much to be desired.

I had decided the use the same company that did the roofing to also install gutters and gutter guards. I should have gotten a couple of prices from other companies for the gutters but thought that it would be easier to use the same company and have it done at the same time. This company uses subs for the gutters, but I didn't know it at the time. However I didn't ask. The gutters were installed about a week after the roof, and although the gutters were installed, the gutter guards were not. Finally the gutter guards were installed but only in the gutters in front of the house. Again the company had to be called. The gutter guards were installed in the back of the house but a large space at the end of the house did not have the guards. Finally the owner of the company came out to see what we were complaining about. The gutter guards were finally installed but that company screwed the end of the gutters to the gutter extenders that we were using prior to getting the new gutters, trapping some leaves and water in the gutters. My husband and I were really disappointed that we had so much trouble with the gutters when we were really happy with the company which did a dynamite job on the roof.

It is absolutely wonderful, they realized my chimney was unstable and so they called someone for us and got it fixed. I really appreciate the fact they saw something that needed to be taken care of and did.

He did this in a way that you can't even tell it has been done. He took pictures and showed me everything that he had done. This was very reasonably priced for the work that. I ended up using him because he was recommended with high ratings from angie's list.

They were very helpful in determining the type of new window and the expense involved. Honest and dependable.
