Unique Lawn Care - Indianapolis

Unique treated our lawn for three seasons. The condition of the lawn had deteriorated since we bought the property in 2013. Last year I complained that I was not satisfied with the results of it treatments and I was no longer interested in its services. The salesman promised to make it right, so I told him I would let them treat our lawn for one more season. Unique failed miserably. The last treatment was in January. Today while mowing the lawn, I found quite a few bare spots, dandelions, and an assortment of other weeds. The condition of the lawn is much worse that it was at last season’s start. I will no longer use Unique’s services, nor will I ever be able to recommend it to others. This is unfortunate, since Unique did such a great job at my last home in Fishers. If Unique wants to make it right by me, it can return the money we spent on all the services since the beginning of the last season.

We have a contract with them and they usually come every couple of months or so. They decide what we need and put it on there.

They come on time I have had some minor weed problems.

I've used them for several years now. They give me a better price than anybody else does. They do the same thing that anyone else does, they just do it so reasonably. There have been times when there have been problems with the yard. When I call they come right out and they take care of whatever the problem is. They have been very responsive to issues that I've had with my lawn.

I've been a Unique customer for over 4 years. Not any longer. My yard never looked good and there was always excuses from their reps why. I had all these weeds and I was forced to call them in order to get them to spray. That wasn't the customer service I was expecting. They have their reps walking/fertilizing my yard and they can't miss the weeds, but I had to call to get them sprayed.

We will use them again.

I do have a service contract. We have used them for 3 years. They are very reasonably priced. Our yard is certainly better than it was before we used them, but it's not excellent. We do still have some weeds and things so maybe we could use a little better follow up.

It didn't! Had Unique for about 3 years. Things were fine until 6/2016. They left burn marks in my yard and missed blowing off the pellets from my driveway, which I had previously complained about and agreed to continue the service to give them a second chance. With the application in June, there were burn marks in my lawn, and I contacted Chris Ryman (as requested if there was a problem). He responded to my email that he would call me the next day......well, never got the call from him, instead got a recorded message saying if I wanted them to come out to spray for weeds again, to call them. Weeds were not the problem. July rolls around and the treatment was performed. On the invoice, it stated "blew off the driveway!" Still no return call from Chris Ryman. I paid the July invoice, and stated in my email to them that I was cancelling the service and that I have no intention of paying for the June invoice that was also to include free grub treatment. Welp, either they didn't put it down, or the amount was so minimal, that I ended up with grubs. Thanks Unique for the crappy service. I've returned to my previous lawn care company, and funny thing, all the weeds that Unique couldn't kill off, they did in ONE application.

They've been doing a good job. They are always very quick to come if we have a problem. We changed to them because their pricing was better.

Unique Lawn Care took care of all of my issues and we're very professional and prompt. I really appreciated their concern and quick customer service.

We have a contract with them, so they come seven time a year. The service is very well, the lawn look good. If there is a needed before there session I call them and they come the next day to fix the issue.

They are excellent. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. The owner of the company I spoke with actually has a degree in this area. I told him his prices are out of my range and that is why I really wasn't interested and they called back the next day with worth price so the price was very reasonable.

I have stopped doing business with Unique. I had been a customer for 4 years but have more weeds now than when I started. Calls for a service call would be weeks away, normally when next service was scheduled. There were several excuses for the delay but bottom line is I just did not get the service I wanted.

We had a yearly plan with them. The interaction with them was good, and the work was above average.

Well ... I spoke to the neighbor across the street this past spring about lawn care they told me about the GREAT $40 deal from Unique.  The neighbor has a smaller yard than mine so I called to get a similar deal.  I was told that the salesman that gave my neighbor that price didn't work for them anymore.  So, I would have to pay more.  I should have turn and run at that point. 

They came and treated the lawn... or supposedly treated the lawn.  I truthfully saw no difference.  Another treatment... not much difference.    And another treatment....nothing. 

Unique bragged about how they were different and how the did things that other lawn care companies.  I saw absolutely no difference.  I was told that "it takes a while" to get rid of the weeds.  How long is a while?  I finally went to the John Deer Lawn Care store in Fishers and bought weed killer and guess what?  After ONE spray, the weeds were gone.  Hmmm... one treatment and my weeds were gone, 3 Unique treatments and nothing.  Maybe they should go to the John Deer Lawn Care store! 

I can actually compliment them on their notification... the guy called before coming out to take care of the lawn.   

A simple word of advice... run away from this company.  Run far and fast.  If you do decide to use them, DO NOT accept the first number they throw out.  Cut that amount in half and be firm.  They will call back.  They will tell you a sob story.  And especially with this company, you need to make plans to go buy weed killer to actually take care of the weeds.  Or, save the money and go buy your own.  At least your lawn will look better than mine.
