The whole experience was fantastic. In the design stage Trillium was very receptive to our wishes. Many designers are more interested in using a project as their canvas, to try their ideas with your budget and are not very receptive to your ideas. Not so with Trillium. The design was just what we had in mind. In addition to a great design, they made many excellent funtional recommendations as well. Trillium was very helpful beyond just the cabinet design but also with cabinet hardware, backsplash tile and cabinet lighting.

The cabinets themselves are outstanding quality. Trillium built these from scratch as they're fully custom cabinets. The wood working and finishing are outstanding. We could not be happier. Trillium installed the cabinets themselves with the care of those who built them. It's not an easy task since the design was rather involved.

They were very accomodating as well. The cabinet stain was a concern since it can't really be changed. They made many fully finished wood samples for us to review. They had great understanding of how the wood species and stain would interact. The finish turned out fantastic. In fact the whole kitchen turned out fantastic.

We've engaged Trillium for two new projects. So yes, we would use them again.

Had them repair some damaged wood on a harpsichord.  It was a tricky job since the wood grain and color were unusual and the damage was along an edge.  The repair was very professional and I was pleased with the result. 

They also made a custom black-stained wood display stand for my company, which looks great and gets regular compliments at trade shows.  

Prior to hiring them I saw some examples of their prior work and was very impressed.  They make a wide range of beautiful custom wood pieces and seem able to do just about any custom woodworking project with any type of wood.  I would definitely hire them again.

Steve did a great job working with us to develop a design for our new kitchen.  He did his best to implement as many features as he could, while being realistic to our budget and the functionality of the kitchen.  He also did an excellent job planning around an old home where the floor is not entirely level and the ceiling is a few inches taller on one end of the room.   Steve was easy to work with and very considerate throughout the entire process.  If I called with a question or issue, he responded immediately.  Even after the cabinets were installed and I decided I did not like part of them (no fault of Steve's, I just changed my mind once I saw them.)  He worked with us to find a solve to replace some of the cabinet facings in the most economical manner.

They did a good job. The work looks great. They showed up on time and everything went smoothly.

After the great first impression of their initial design concept, we were even more impressed when Trillium?s quote came in at much less than that of the other firm. What?s more, the cost was not much higher than at the home improvement chains. Unlike the chains, however, Trillium provided customized plans that to fit our family's living style and offered the detail and design elements that provide a high-end finish quality. Steve and the Trillium team really listened to our goals and ideas for the project and paid attention to how our family uses each part of our home. Then they brought practical ideas as well as creative design touches to the plans in a way that our first design firm only claimed to do and that no home improvement store can possibly offer. Trillium Cabinet Company coordinated their work seamlessly with our primary remodeling contractor, established a delivery and installation schedule that fit everyone's needs and, most importantly, honored those commitments. Working with Trillium, we always knew what to expect and when. Even though the installation work spanned three rooms (plus a fourth for storage/staging), Trillium excelled with their problem-solving skills, flexibility, and diplomacy, storing and installing over 50 cabinet units without impeding the many other tradesmen involved in the full remodelling project. The project?s nature involved many moving targets and last-minute changes, yet Trillium made the necessary changes cheerfully and creatively, with cost adjustments that were both reasonable and clearly communicated . Installation work was completed efficiently, and with the care and craftsmanship of artisans. Precise adjustments and exact fit-and-finish details are a source of pride to Trillium's installers. We received the same service and workmanship they would put into their own homes' cabinetry. A few months have passed and we still have not found a single issue that was left incomplete or overlooked. We are in love with the results of our remodel; and the design, quality and value of our Trillium Cabinetry made Trillium our favorite contractor!
