Todd Rumer Painting

Todd and his brother Paul did a great job. They spent one day removing wallpaper in one of the bedrooms and then prepped the walls (filled holes, patched cracks, etc.). They painted both ceilings, gave the walls two coats, sanded and painted all the wood trim, painted the insides of the closets and shelves (two colors), painted bedroom and closet doors. They did a great job on my old wood windows, which were in bad shape. The project took about 4 days. They showed up every day at 8:15 and worked until mid-afternoon or later. They helped me pick the best sheen for my wood trim, and I would trust them with any questions I might have about paint. They were easy to communicate with, asking me what I had in mind as the project moved along (colors in closets, etc.) and kept me posted on where they were on the project. It was a neat and tidy job. They are skilled professionals, and I would definitely hire Todd Rumer Painting again. Cost included paint and other materials.

Todd and Paul did a wonderful job. When priming the cedar, they took pains to assure that the cedar would not bleed through. They were very careful of my recently refinished floor. They were careful to avoid painting the windows shut - the windows open and close now just as well as before the painting. The cleanup was thorough - although Todd and Paul are so careful that there was very little to clean up. When quoting the job, Todd gave me excellent advice about caulking between the cedar beams and the ceiling. Todd and Paul are true professionals. They showed up on time, worked diligently and carefully, kept me informed, and kept to the schedule. Their work really improved the room! I highly recommend them.

Todd and Paul arrived as scheduled each day. They did excellent work, being sure to tape along carpet and other areas so that those areas wouldn't have paint on them. They cleaned up each day. They finished the job sooner than expected. It looks fresh and clean!

They began on a Wed. morning and finished the job by noon the following Friday. Not one piece of tape was used to paint all of this trim. They began the day after our hardwood floors were refinished and did not damage the new floor at all. GREAT job! Very professional!

Extremely pleasant experience. Todd and his brother, Paul, were a great team. The work was finished cleanly (oh, how important that can be!) and quickly. I already have plans to use them again. They should be at the very top of Angie's List for northside painters. I'm surprised they weren't.

He is perfect. He shows up on-time and does exactly what he says he is going to do. The painting and color matching are all perfect. I would highly recommend him. I have been using him for years.

Todd and Paul Rumer showed up five days and typically worked from 8 am to 4 pm. Prior to job Todd visited the property and discussed what was to be done. He was subsequently consulted, via e-mail, on patching of the hole in a bathroom prior to the job. During the job they did the master bedroom first, along with work on a bath so that both were useable when the day ended. They coordinated their work with that of another job going on at the property so that everything went smoothly.

Todd and his brother (my apologies, I forgot his name) arrived at the specified time and went right to work. They discussed with us where they could set up their staging area and set it up so that they did not interfere with any of the activities that we had for the day. From the staging area the wall paper was cut and carried into the bathroom for hanging. There was NO mess left at all. They worked quickly and professionally and the work completed was beautiful.

When they finished, they entirely cleaned up the staging area and all scraps from the bathroom. There were no drips from the wet paper on the vanity, floor, or woodwork in the bathroom. I did not have to clean anything up after they finished.

There was no evidence that they had ever been in the house except for the papered bathroom and a bag of trash in the garage.

The finished work was beautiful and professionally done. The papering was seemless and looked absolutely perfect.

I would highly recommend Todd and would hire him again without hesitation.

He did a real good job on painting. I would use him again in the future.

. .It was a wonderful experience. The group paints with outstanding professionalism. Todd Rumer bought the paint and materials as well. Each man is extremely hard working. They do the job and much more. The clean up each day left the house in fine order. I can't praise this crew enough for a perfect job. Now that I have moved in, they will come back to repair the little dings that the movers couldn't help.

He did a fine job. He was helpful and cooperative. They cleaned up after themselves.

days 2-9: bedrooms, long hallway, entry way, family room, living room, dining room, laundry room, 1/2 bath, kitchen and cabinets (ceilings, trim, walls). Moved and covered furniture carefully when painting each room.

The walls looked great, I was very happy with the paint job and wallpaper removal. They were all easy to work with and very friendly. Would definitely use them again. I've already given out Todd's number for his painting services because they're very good!

Went very well, good job. Two days plus were needed to do the job, then about a half day for the subsequent repair work, about a month later.

Todd and his team were very polite and professional. Very good communications with regard to scheduling, length of time for project, what to expect, etc. The quality of work done was excellent, with no issues at all. They did a very thorough cleanup of the work areas each day. The projects were done in the time estmated and within the quoted amount. Absolutely no problems with Todd or any of his team. We're definitely keeping Todd in mind for future projects.

Todd and crew returned to our home again, and another great experience with them took place! This was a difficult job, to be sure, and I was rather dreading it. So much to take apart, such as bookcases, china cabinet, etc. But once again, Todd and team make it stress-free. They are by far the neatest and tidiest painters we've ever worked with. And the results are absolutely beautiful! We couldn't be happier. Todd Rumer is the BEST!

Todd came and gave me an estimate. He arrived 3 weeks later and completed the job in less than a day. I felt comfortable leaving him and his assistants while I was at work.
