"We sincerely appreciate the positve review and kind words about Buzz and our installation crew. And hank you for choosing Tish Flooring!"
"Thank you for the nice review - yes, we are looking forward to taking care of the bubbles in the vinyl flooring around the door frame on Thursday!"
"Thank you for choosing our company and for the wonderful compliments. It means everything to us!"
"Thank you for taking the time place a review of your service experience with us. And thank you very much for choosing Tish Flooring for your project. There are many good flooring companies in the area so we sincerely appreciate and take seriously the trust you placed in our company. It is good to know that you are happy with the finished application. Often, with larger residential renovations such as yours, the process to correct the subfloor in order to satisfy the manufacturer'[Member Information Removed] requirements for flatness can be very extensive. Not every flooring company is equipped to do this. (Lowe'[Member Information Removed] and Home Depot customers often choose Tish Flooring because those companies do not perform extensive subfloor correction service). We do our best to set the right expectations during the sales process - and Sam is among the best at informing his clients about job contingencies - but the scope and cost to correct floors once we are able to assess them is not something that we (or any company) can control or predetermine before the existing flooring has been removed. It is not unlike taking a car to the mechanic for a loud 'clinking' sound in the engine; the mechanic has no [Member Information Removed] to know exactly what the price for the repair will be before he starts the work. Only after he has located the problems can he be specific about scope of work and costs - and by this time the engine has been pulled apart! The same often holds true for subfloor corrections: only after we have removed the existing flooring can we assess the bare substrates and make recommendations about what is need to correct the areas needing work. In any case, again, we are very grateful that you chose Tish Flooring and that the job meets or, hopefully, exceeds the vision you had for your great project. If we may serve you in any other [Member Information Removed] please contact Aaron Hirsch, Client Services Coordinator, at 317-879-TISH (8474). Thank you again! Tish Flooring, Inc."
"Thank you for posting your review. We sincerely regret that you are dissatisfied with your experience with us. Our records reflect the following (in part): You contacted us regarding the visibility of a seam shortly after installation. An installer returned and then later a supervisor to view the installation quality. The seam was visible but appeared to be within industry standards. As you may know, some seams are virtually impossible to detect and others may be readily apparent; no promises or assurances are made by Tish Flooring (or by any reputable flooring company) that seams are guaranteed to be invisible. Nevertheless, your claim remained open as we had not declined the claim. We respectfully disagree with your statement that our representative([Member Name Removed]) left it at "that'[Member Name Removed] as good as it gets". You then informed us that you were also concerned about the appearance and performance of the carpet. On your behalf we contacted the manufacturer with the intention that they would dispatch an industry-certified independent inspector to inspect both the seam and the condition of the carpet. The manufacturer required that the carpet be professionally cleaned before an inspector can be sent out and we informed you of this. You contacted us today, 1/29/19, and informed us that the carpet has been professionally cleaned. Based on the information above, our office has contacted the manufacturer. The inspection should take place within two weeks. Should the report reveal any product or installation related defects we will not hesitate to repair or replace the carpet if needed. In the meantime, please feel free to contact Client Services Coordinator Aaron Hirsch at 317-879-TISH (8474) should you have any questions in the interim or if we may serve you in any other way. Our ultimate goal is to regain your positive feelings about your project and our company and, hopefully, earn a revised grade of "A" once we get through the process. Thank you! Tish Flooring, Inc."
"We very much appreciate the role Angie'[Member Information Removed] List serves where customers and service providers alike can express their views. This forum has been a very important part of our business for three decades. Not only has it has helped us build our business but it has enabled us to continuously improve our quality of service. So, a few negative reviews - both those that are legitimate and those that mischaracterize our service or our company - will pop up from time to time. We expect them and use them as the basis for process improvement, every time. In the case of this member, we sincerely apologize for the covered vent. This was an error on our part and we corrected it immediately. The $500 charge was not part of the original estimate as we could not (nor could any flooring company) predetermine the extent of floor correction that would be needed until the existing flooring was completely removed. It is the same process for virtually every replacement project we undertake. In this case, once the existing flooring was removed an assessment was done; the member approved the additional work as well as the related $500 charge via email. The work was then completed and the additional charge processed. To portray this process as "sketchy" is, at best, unfair and inaccurate. With regard to the suggestion that "every piece of trim was damaged", our site inspection and jobsite photos clearly illustrate that numerous sections of baseboard and lower sections of door encasements were deteriorating due to excessive pet urine. The trim had been saturated. This was pointed out to the member. We undercut jambs and took proper care; the finished quarter-round molding was installed at or above industry quality standards. The $150.00 credit has been processed as promised and will appear as soon as Synchrony Financial posts it to the member'[Member Information Removed] account. Should there be any further steps that we may take in order to be of service we strongly encourage the member to contact our Operations Manager, Bill McCully, at 879-TISH (8474). Bill will be happy to address any other concerns and assist in any way."
