Tim encountered several issues when installing our new sink. Old leaky plumbing had to be replaced. Mr. Maher also had to customize the counter so the new sink would fit perfectly. He kept his composure and did an amazing job.

I felt I over paid for this job. It was 2hours for 99.99 plus materials. It ended up being 3 hours. So I was charged 76.00 for the extra hour, plus 66.75 in material and on top of that a 49.00 trip cost to come to Shelbyville. Now the certificate did not say their would be a trip charge. It said it covered Shelby County.

"Regarding 24 mile trip to Shelbyville at customer's home I found no one at home even though I had called customer prior to my leaving Indy. Customer arrived approximately 15 minutes after I got to her home. The two lavatory faucets customer purchased had drains which had to be modified to accomodate high rough-ins to accept traps. Three of the four shut off valves worked with the one hot water valve breaking off in my hand. The water supply had to be shut off by water heater in basement in order to replace broken one. The other work requested (not mentioned in review) included repairing leak behind diverter spout in tub wall. Removed diverter spout and replaced specialty o-ring. with copper seal and silicone caulking. Also caulked plumbing tub wall where it meets bath tub. This additional work did require the extra labor charged for. A service call charge is not a labor charge but is common practice in the service industry to help cover other overhead expenses and fuel charges, stock, tools, insurance, inventory on vehicle, etc. We do try to adjust for distance and fuel prices. Lastly, customer left during work which was ordered and when husband was presented with bill upon completion, he was unable to write a check because customer had checkbook with her. We did receive payment in mail four days later, but we did not receive any communication from her regarding her complaints and comments. I would have been happy to discuss any concerns or questions she might have had if she had told me."

It went very well. Mr. Maher was a skilled plumber with over 20 years of experience in the trade. He offered only best-quality parts and maintenance suggestions. I had purchased the $99 Big Deal for 2 hours of plumbing but added on 2 more hours of repairs and several new parts. I wouldn't hesitate to have him do any future repairs.
My only complaint is that there was a trip charge of $45 that was not mentioned in advance either in the fine print of the Big Deal or in the phone call.

Tim Maher is the most professional amazing plumber I have ever met. He has been helping our family for many years, and does all the work for my Parents and Grandparents as well. The work was completed exactly as Tim described, and solved the problem. We've called Tim on several occasions to perform various other plumbing needs; replacing a kitchen sink and faucets, repairing toilets, replacing water shutoff valves, checking the house plumbing and water supply system. Tim is always professional, always courteous, always offers repair/replacement options for us to consider, always prompt, and always does exactly what he says he will do for us. We will always call Tim when we need a plumbing consultation or repair.

It was great! Tim showed up the same day I called for an estimate. We walked through the scope of work to be performed. On the day of the appointment, Tim showed up 5 minutes early for his appointment, which I always appreciate. When the job was finished we found everything as expected. Tim even did a little extra work that wasn't part of the original scope at no extra charge and it rounded off the project very well.

great tim coud'nt turn off the water main at the street because tree roots had grown around the lid and tried to fee it but coud'nt acesses the vavle we called the water company and was promised within 48 hrs they would have the vavle free and shut off tim came back 2 days later and the water company had not responded and actually didnt for 3 more days. he made a 3rd trip before he was able to repair the line. he charged me a service call for the 1st trip no hrly rate even though he was their about a 1 1/2 hr no charge for 2nd trip at all and 3rd trip a hrly rate that he was acually on site no travel time charged.good plummer, honest price,honest man something rare anymore i highly recommend tim he's a one man show he gives the estimate, does the work and collects the bill.

Tim Maher was very helpful in ordering for me the correct inner fixture tub and shower workings along with ordering my request for the cosmetic outer oil rub bronze finish fixtures. Within one week the ordered parts arrived and he scheduled a work time. He kept in contact with me and promptly returned my phone calls. He was very neat and cleaned up after himself. He also was very willing to explain to me how all this inner plumbing works, very patient. His work was consistant and steady. He is very knowledgeable and very conscientious and even made sure my main turn off water pipe line was not leaking after he completed the job. I would recommend him to anyone. His service is very reasonably priced.

He is one of the nicest, contentious individuals I have ever dealt with. He gets good quality products from plumbing supply companies, as opposed to using chain store products that he feels aren't as good of quality. All of his work is very reasonably priced, and the jobs listed above have been over several different occasions, but all his jobs are very well priced. I would recommend him to anyone.
