I recently had an irrigation system installed by The Peters Group LLC, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The entire process was seamless and professional, from the initial consultation to the final installation.

Great company and excellent customer service. I honestly recommend to hire them. Five Starts.

I don't know how many times I have to explain and prove that I paid for the service before they stop adding late fees. My bill is now double the original cost, and I paid immediately after the service. The check cleared the bank. I have now called multiple times and emailed with screenshots to prove this to be the case.

Chris and his team provided me with outstanding service. They installed an irrigation system which could not all be handled with machinery. Some of the channels had to be done by hand due to parts of my yard being a rock garden and others with flower beds. They did excellent work, tuned the setup for effective coverage and cleaned up nicely post the installation. Their price was also very competitive. Thank you so much Chris and team.

Not pleased with finished work at all, still have drainage issues, job was installed poorly, kept trying to get payment before work was done. Areas are now peaking through with bare gravel or where it was filled in has caved in and exposed pipe. Water actually sits on top of the are where the drain is! Kept “ forgetting” they said they would do two sides around garage not one. “ Forgot” the contract said area would be reseeded. I Wouldn’t pay until it was done, which consisted of throwing a tiny amount of seed that was washed away and never grew. Also cut our internet line while had digging and had to have internet company come and replace it. Yard town up by Bobcat. We have to hire another company to come and fix the damage they did. And everyone that has heard how much we paid for this installation has been aghast. We feel we were greatly over charged. Would not recommend them or ever hire them for anything. Really nice and friendly guys, but sloppy at doing business.

The Peters Group installed our irrigation system perfectly! Chris came out, walked our property, gave us a reasonable quote, and installed days later. The installation was smooth and clean. Chris took the time, in the pouring rain, to walk me through everything and show me what was accomplished. Our grass went from dry and brittle to green and lush in days. I would definitely recommend.

After several internet searches for contractors that could assess and correct foundation drainage issues, I discovered the Peters Group. Chris was remarkably responsive to come out and look at my property within a few days of me contacting him. He discussed that installing some corrugated drain pipes and two French drains would correct the identified drainage issue. Chris provided a quote and was hired. He began work a few weeks later. My property was such that all work hand to be manually "hand trenched" using shovels. After the first day of the two day project, there were heavy rains that night. Chris's work fixed the primary problem that I had hired him for, but with the heavy rains, an additional drainage problem was discovered. Chris quickly responded by ordering additional materials and expanded his scope of work to include this new area. So, on his second and final day of work, Chris completed the initial project and also completed the additional work. Chris Peters represents the very definition of "professional". He is responsive and takes personal pride in his work and satisfying the customer. I am eagerly awaiting for the next downpours so that I can admire my new drainage system. Chris offers a full warranty of his work, so, I have no worries. Please know, that if you require any drainage or irrigation work, you will never find anyone as honest and professional as The Peters Group.

Chris Peters and the Peters Group just completed a sprinkler system install at my home. Before I get into how happy I am with his work, I need to set up how I came to work with Chris. I live in Lawrence and the permitting guidelines eliminate many contractors from working here and there are some who break the rules. When I did my research, I found 3 contractors who did work in Lawrence. I got quotes from each of them. Chris and the Peters groups quote was in the middle. I had one higher and one lower. I choose the lower quote because they claimed to be able to get me on the schedule the quickest. This was a huge mistake on my part. Long story short after having the first contractor destroy my yard, illegally tap the water line in my meter pit and lying about obtaining the permit from the city of Lawrence (after I paid them to do so), yes they took my deposit which included money for the permit, I contacted Chris to requote my job. Chris quoted my job a second time, taking into consideration fixing the mess from the first contractor, repairing my yard, and fixing the damage to the sump pump discharge line and two drainage lines. Chris assured me he could install a system I would be happy with and get my yard looking right in no time. Chris provided me with an extremely detailed quote that outlined every part that would be included in my job with illustrations and descriptions. Very impressive. He also provided several options for future maintenance of the system and winterization. I like that Chris always explained everything clearly and there were no more surprises. He set an expectation and met it. I agreed to the new quote and asked how soon Chris could fit me in. To my surprise he said he could fit my job in between some other jobs in the area. Keep in mind I had been dealing with the other contractor since March and it is now July. Chris finished my job in three days! Chris and his crew were extremely efficient, knowledgeable and both were always willing to take time to answer any questions I had along the way. I like that, despite some drilling into the house and boring around my entire yard to install the lines, there was no damage to anything and they cleaned up everything they brought with them. They were true professionals. I have a system I am happy with and I purchased the option that allows me to program watering from an app on my phone. Definitely worth the extra money and I recommend it. I, without any reservation, would recommend Chris and the Peters group for your irrigation work. My yard was in pretty bad shape before Chris started his work, so we still need to have an aeration and overseeding completed later in the summer to get my yard where it should be. If you want the cheapest option, Chris may not be the choice for you. If you want the best option, quality materials and workmanship I suggest the Peters Group. Enzley

Mr. Peters was very personable and professional. He responded to our inquiry when other pros did not. Given we were on a time constraint and he was very busy, Mr. Peters still managed to squeeze us in. We had a huge area in the back yard that was very swampy albeit we paid another company last fall to remedy it. Mr. Peters had additional dirt trucked in, graded it properly and sowed grass seed. We had our first big rain last night since he finished and the area looks great. A few puddles that have since then drained unlike the pond prior to his work. We are very pleased!

I would like to say Chris the owner of The Peters Group was a very friendly and professional man to work with. Every time I contacted him by text or phone he would answer promptly. I had The Peters Group install a 5 zone irrigation system on my property. I really appreciate the time Chris took to make sure the job was completed as expected. Chris drove 1 ½ hours to get to me to look at the work to be completed and to give me an estimate. As scheduled Chris and his crew arrived at my property and the irrigation system was completed in two days. The crew was also very friendly and professional and I could tell they really took pride in the work they performed. I’ve had the system for a few weeks now and it appears to functioning as advertised. I’m very happy with the installation that The Peters Group performed and I would highly recommend the company to perform any installation they advertise. Thanks again for a job well done.

Extremely pleased with our irrigation system that The Peters Group installed at our condo. They were very professional during the entire process. They completed the entire job in one day and afterwards you couldn’t even tell they had been there because there was no damage to the yard. I've used them quite a bit. They're my main provider. It's been up and down to be honest. The owner is a really nice guy. They would take the time to talk to you. They were the cheapest installer that I could find. They were willing to do just what I wanted to do. Instead of doing the whole yard they winterized what I needed. They were accustomed. The price was good. The responsiveness, it's been better. I've had some issues with that in the past, but it's better. They came out when they were supposed to.

Chris is very professional and knowledgeable in his craft.   We were very pleased with the responsiveness, courtesy, and promptness in dealing with the inevitable issue here or there and follow up questions.  

I would highly recommend Chris and his team to anyone looking for similar requirements.   We have a larger area of our lawn covered than what I had originally planned and it's worked out really well so far.
