I've used Becki's catsitting service several times previously when traveling.  She comes once a day to feed & water the cats, scoop litter, and provide attention.  The visit can also include basic housesitting tasks like bringing in the mail or dragging the trash to the curb on trash day.  
Prior to my first use of the service, Becki came to the house to meet the cats and to get an understanding of their needs.  She was very thorough in noting care instructions and emergency plans.  It is clear that she takes the health and well-being of the animals she cares for very seriously.  Although, as mentioned in some other reviews, the office number goes straight to voicemail, I was given Becki's direct cell phone number at that initial visit in case I need to reach her about an emergency while I'm away.  I have only needed to use that once, but Becki was very quick to respond.  I am very comfortable leaving my pets and home in her care while away.

Great! There was a slight miscommunication about the initial pre-vacation visit with the new sitter (we have used them before), but no big deal. While we were away, the sitters were very responsive to my texts and they left detailed notes of each visit. Dogs were happy while we were away and we didn't worry about the house's security.

Becki did an excellent job. I felt very secure, knowing that my cats were being well cared for in my absence.
I was reassured with the visit she made before we left town. She asked all of the right questions to be sure that the cats were as well cared for and comfortable as possible. She even asked about their favorite toys and play activities. She also asked detailed questions about our home (alarm system, trash pick-up days etc.) so that she could check that everything was in order during our absence.
She also left detailed information about the visit each time she came to feed and clean up after the cats.
Becki handles her business as a professional. I very much appreciate being able to call on her when I need to be gone.

Our long time cat sitter was going away to college so we needed to make other arrangement for those times we would be traveling. We called The Pet Company, got an answering machine, and left a message to have someone call. A few days later we got a call from Becki the owner of the company who told us she had been out of town.
We met with her at which time I told her that when I called a pet sitter I wanted to speak with her not leave a message at which time she gave me her cell phone number. We chatted a bit and gave her a key to the house but for a number of reasons did not need a pet sitter for quite some time. Recently I called and left a message on her cell phone..... no response. 3 days later I called The Pet Company and left a message on the answering machine (no one ever answers the phone) saying I wanted our key returned. At that Becki did return the call and we set a time for her to return our key. Then we got another call from her saying there had been a water issue/basement flood and some of her clients keys had fallen out of a box into a pile in the water so she would have to bring a number of keys to figure out which one was ours. At our original interview she told us the key would be tagged with our pets name so even if it had fallen into some water it still should have been able to have been identified. There was no name on any of the tags which looked new. After going through the keys we found one that looked like our key but it did not work. We tried a bunch of times, it would not open the door. I know I tried the key and that it worked at the time we gave it to Becki, we would not have just given her a key without being sure it worked. So we don't know if we got our key back or not. Maybe the lock had worn enough, that key, for whatever reason, wouldn't work.... but all our other keys worked just fine. The whole experience left us feeling like this was the most disorganized pet sitting service we had ever tried to use. Fortunately we hadn't gone out of town as The Pet Sitter hadn't safely stored out key nor could they identify our key.

We've been with The Pet Company, Inc. for nearly three years and just love them. Shelly is our regular walker and she does an excellent job with our two dogs. She leaves a detailed note daily so we know what they did together and will call if there is any kind of a question or issue.
The owner, Becki, is great too. She has filled in on a few occasions and it's seamless. Becki regularly sends our invoices and is good with follow up and communication.
We'd definitely recomment The Pet Company, Inc.

I have used this service before. Each time the service has been good. The pet sitter always leaves a little note as to how the cat seemed to do.

Becky, the owner, is quite wonderful. They go the extra mile for their customers and genuinely love the pets! I used her for nearly eight years and will definitely choose her again!

We come back and the liter pans are clean, the boys are happy, and the prices are very reasonable. They are very competent.

I have had Becki come for 2-3 years now and have never had any problems. I felt quite comfortable that the dogs were in good hands, medications were given if needed and if anything was concerning Becki called. She loves my dogs and it is obvious she loves the other dog she cares for. We have had an excellent experience/time with Becki.

Great, been using them since we moved to Indy. Very dependable. We got stuck in UK due to volcano in 2010, and they really took good care of us, our pets and plants!

We have used the Pet Company for pet sitting for about 20 years. We have more than one pet, so it makes sense for us to use a pet sitting service when we go on vacation. Becki and her staff are just the best. They are knowledgeable,very professional, they are just great with our animals, and leave detailed notes on how our animals did on each visit. They make every effort to accommodate our vacation schedules. I like the fact that they also bring in the mail, do a security check, water the plants, and vary the lighting. Our animals are calm and happy when we return. They are happy to see us, but they aren't frantic. Plus, at about $22 per visit, the service is reasonably priced.

Everything from start to finish is ALWAYS perfect. Great service.

As this was the first time I've used the services of the Pet Company, Becki came out to the house to meet the animals and learn their routines. She was very patient with some unexpected interruptions that occurred during her visit owing to some other work being done in the house. She seemed very knowledgeable, particularly about caring for older dogs. She asked good questions that gave me confidence that my instructions would be followed conscientiously. Once my trip was under way, she updated me with an e-mail to let me know how things were going. When I returned, there were detailed daily notes about the pets and their care.

I like the capability of requesting and paying for services online. I also like the fact that there are fail-safe backups in place. If the regular pet-sitter can't make a visit, there's another employee that can take over. Also, the company will continue to visit the pets until they know for sure the owner is back in town. These policies gave me a lot of confidence in leaving my pets in their care.

If I was not satisfied with this dog walking service, I would have not used them multiple times a year for nearly five years now. They do a good job, and I trust the safety and well-being of my dogs with them.

Becki has taken care of our pups for years, and is absolutely a treasure. Our dogs can be a handful, and she is a total professional - has never met a dog she can't handle. She knows all of our dogs well, offers advice for problem pets, is very flexible and able to fit us in on short notice. She will walk dogs, take in mail, water plants, visits up to 4 times/day (charges by the visit). She occasionally spends the night when we are gone over a weekend. She leaves an informative note with each visit. It is so reassuring to know that our dogs are in her capable hands when we leave.

She is able to give medications to our cats and she does a great job. She is very nice! She lives in our neighborhood and can come in emergencies.

It was such a relief to know our "babies" were in such expert hands. Becky is very compassionate, and has tons of experience. She was also great at keeping us updated. I have only good things to say about this experience.

overall I could totally rely on this company to do what was needed and more for my best friend Zoe. If I died I had told Becky that she would have to adopt Zoe as I had so much confidence in her. This is someone who really loves animals. She was there from Zoe's childhood to her old age and ultimate death. She was family to Zoe.

She comes over whenever I need her service and she also doesn’t have a problem if I cancel her appointment. Her pricing is reasonable as well. I have been satisfied with her service.

Becky is amazing! She has a car with doggie seat belts. I have never seen a dog not like her. All of her workers are reliable and dependable and they are all so good. The price above is for an uncomplicated dog walk.
