Sean started and completed the work in about a week. He was punctual and did quality work. He came in just over his estimate but it was for good reasons.

It's only one guy and he seems knowledgeable. He did a reasonable job, certainly the price was right. I was happy with the end result. It was a good job, it just wasn't any kind of fancy work. There wasn't a problem, but there was a period that I had trouble with communication and I had to call him to find out what the plan was. We never actually got the written estimate, I basically had to send him an email to make sure of the price that we agreed on. We agreed on $500 and then he put in some additional insulation pretty much for free.

Everything went well. The work was done well, on time, the clean up was good, and it worked out like I was expecting it to. He even made a suggestion to enhance the look of it that I wouldn't have thought of.

I had to redo my whole basement because of mold. They did not do the mold remediation. Sean from SUNRISE Construction is a smaller contractor, so he did most of the work himself. We liked him and thought he did a good job. He was conscientious and talked to us a lot about the repairs and options as the worked progressed. We like it and everything seems fine.

Chimney cap: This is a repair we've been planning for some time due to concave metal closure which allowed water to collect and rusting to begin. Worked on pitched roof. Was able to remove cap enough to install tapered shims and lift cap enough so that water drains off. Cleaned metal and applied galvanizing type paint to r***** rusting. This repair in lieu of complete cap and spark arrestor replacement. Light replacement: High, sloped ceilings make it difficult for home owner to replace. Sean rented a tall ladder and was able to replace fixture in short order. Fixture was owner purchased. We have used Sean a number of times, drywall repair, window replacement, ceramic tile installation, plumbing fixtures, etc. He is good for all phases of construction.

He is extremely professional. He works by himself. He is very knowledgable. We had a little trouble and he knew exactly how to fix the problem. He really had to rebuild the understruction before installing the new flooring. He did very nice work, great finishing. There was one thing we had to call him back on and he came back immediately and took care of the problem. He does all remodeling and construction work. He also does design work.

I had an excellent time using him. He was very conscientious. He showed up on time and did excellent work. He did everything that I asked that he do. He was very reasonable and it was an excellent experience.

It was a great experience and they were very professional and personable. They came out and did the entire bathroom and I was very pleased with the results. I highly recommend them.

Sean was great to work with and did a fantastic job. This was an old small bathroom that had many challenges. Sean worked with us on the design and material selection, and turned the bathroom into a great feature for our house. He is very skilled and puts a great deal of care in his work. We are very budget conscious and Sean was by far the lowest of four estimates. We will definitely hire Sean again.

SEAN RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY TO MY INITIAL CALL AND CAME OUT TO EVALUATE THE SITUATION AND PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE. HE MADE NUMEROUS, EXCELLENT SUGGESTIONS WHICH WERE INCORPORATED INTO THE DESIGNS. THE WORK DONE WAS FIRST CLASS WITH MUCH ATTENTION TO DETAIL. AREAS WERE ALWAYS CLEANED UP BEFORE SEAN LEFT FOR THE DAY. THE RESULTS WERE PHENOMENAL - I NOW HAVE A BRIGHT, SUNNY KITCHEN IN THE MORNING - IT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY. I AM EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. THE SUNTUBE INSTALLATION IS VERY NICE AND IS NOT TOO BRIGHT UNTIL MID TO LATE MORNING WHEN THE SUN COMES UP AND HITS THE ROOF. INITIALLY, THE REFLECTOR WAS NOT PROVIDING THE EFFECT I WAS EXPECTING, AND SEAN CAME OUT TO REPOSITION IT AND IS CONCERNED THAT IT WORKS THE WAY WE ORIGINALLY DISCUSSED. SEAN IS GREAT TO WORK WITH - VERY NICE AND DOES PRECISION WORK FOR A VERY REASONABLE PRICE.

SEAN WAS VERY PATIENT IN TAKING TIME UPFRONT TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WE WERE TRYING TO DO, AND MAKING SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT COULD AND COULDN'T BE DONE. AS THE WORK PROGRESSED (A BIG PLUS FOR US). THE THING I LIKED ABOUT WORKING WITH SEAN MIMMS IS THAT SEAN CONCEPTUALIZES THE JOB, PRESENTS DESIGN OPTIONS, QUOTES THE JOB, AND IS VERY MUCH HANDS-ON IN DOING THE ACTUAL WORK. IT GETS DONE THE WAY IT IS INITIALLY PRESENTED, BECAUSE SEAN IS INVOLVED IN EVERY STEP OF THE PROCESS. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK PERFORMED. THE WORK WAS DONE AT A VERY COMPETITIVE PRICE.

VERY RELIABLE. KEPT ME INFORMED OF PROGRESS AND ANY CHANGES TO PLANNED WORK. MADE RECOMMENDATIONS TO REPAIR SOME DAMAGE TO SIDING AND TRIM I WAS NOT AWARE OF (WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR IF NOT FIXED NOW). VERY CAREFUL TO COLOR MATCH EXISTING STAINS AND PAINTS. VERY CLEAN. WILL DEFINITELY USE AGAIN.

WE FOUND HIM AND HIS WORKERS TO BE MOST PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, AND SKILLED IN BUILDING THIS STRUCTURE. HE USED ONLY THE BEST MATERIALS, TAKING HIS TIME TO PERSONALLY SELECT THE WOOD, BEAD BOARD, MOLDING, ETC. TO MAKE SURE IT WAS TOP QUALITY. THE ADDITION NOW LOOKS AS IF IT WERE PART OF THE ORIGINAL HOUSE CONSTRUCTION, NOT LIKE SOMETHING STUCK ON LATER. WE WOULD HIRE AND HAVE HIRED HIM FOR FUTURE PROJECTS. THE WORK IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED OTHER WORK, TOOK A LITTLE MORE THAN A DAY. CONTRACTOR WORKS EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY. NICE JOB. CONTRACTOR IS ABLE TO DO DIFFERENT TYPES OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS.
