It was fantastic! We brought our animals and she even knew how to keep their attention along with a toddler. I can't express how happy my family and I were with the experience! The pictures make me smile!

Sue has been our family photographer for almost 10 years. She is always very professional and the photos are wonderful. Her packages are affordable and you get so much for the price.

My experience with Sue Huffer was exceptional. Having seen her work from multiple friends who have hired Sue over the years, I knew who I wanted to hire for photographer for my son's Bar Mitzvah. Sue took pictures a few days prior to the Bar Mitzvah at our synagogue, extended family shots prior to the evening party, and shots at the party. She was easy to work and was fun and efficient while doing the posed pictures. Sue captured the night with so many wonderful shots at the party as well without being obtrusive. I would definitely hire Sue again.

We've had our family's photos taken with Sue for the last six years, since our children were three, four, and five years old. I don't think we'd go to anyone else!

Even though we've had our photos done with her six times, we never get the "same old" photos. She's great about choosing different backgrounds, poses, etc.

We also had photos done with extended family last year (ten people) and it was a terrific experience. She was able to handle our large group with no problems, getting great group and individual shots.

We have used Sue previously and have always been so pleased with the outcome. She takes beautiful outdoor pictures and really knows the best way to position the kids to make a great picture. We had our pictures scheduled with Sue at an outdoor location. She called us the day before, checked that the kids were well, explained that weather would actually be better 1 day after and asked what our preference was, as to postpone or keep original appointment. We moved the appointment and the weather was beautiful. (thank you for that option Sue!). She was at the location well ahead of time, ready to go. she was able to get some wonderful shots of all of us amongst the fall leaves! Within 5 days she had edited all the pictures and had our prints ready. Wonderful customer service, very professional! Pleasure to work with Sue, and we will be getting future photos with her!

Sue is fantastic and we had a great session in the park with her. I received the link to the online gallery less than a week after the portrait session, and couldn't be happier with the results. I got exactly what I wanted and feel like I got more than I paid for. I love her business model - a flat fee for the session and all of the digital images. I want to be able to use my photos everywhere: online, in photo books, christmas cards, prints on the wall etc. and I don't like to be forced into choosing a limited number of poses and having to purchase prints, so I am SO glad we found Sue! I wish we would have found her sooner because we would have done family photos much more often. We will be using her again soon - graduation and senior photos are coming up!

Sue was great. She responded quickly to my inquiry and we were able to talk out all the details to make sure we could make the photo shoot work for such a large group. Once we decided to go with her she was great about working with our schedule. The day was really cold but she was awesome in making sure that everyone was comfortable. She had to deal with quite a few children that weren't always willing to cooperate and she was very professional. One of the main reasons we went with her was because she was super knowledgable about the location and seemed very comfortable working with such a large group. She was very flexible and was great to work with. We got the proofs very quickly and they look great. We got exactly what we wanted.

We are very happy with our photos and will definitely be using Sue's services for future family photos. She was great with our children and made good use of the session time.

I found Sue on Angie's List, and I am so glad I did. We have a 1 almost 2 year old, and I was really worried that he wasn't going to cooperate. Sue had several tricks up her sleeve, that I never would have thought of, to keep him focused and our pictures are beautiful. I couldn't be happier.
Scheduling was easy as well. We had to re-schedule because of the weather, but she kept in contact with me and we re-scheduled for the next weekend. I appreciated that she took into consideration that a toddler would be more and quot;focusedand quot; in the morning rather than the afternoon. All in all, Sue was great to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for great photos!!

Communication and setting up an appointment was easy, Sue is responsive and accommodating of our schedule. We have two young children (age 2 and 4) which is a challenge in itself, but they would get tired and restless at certain times of the day. Sue accommodated our schedule by asking another one of her clients to switch time slots with us, and that was very helpful. She was very easy to work with, and she works well with children. She is soft spoken so our kids listened to her instructions and responded well to her when she made them smile to take the shot. She is very familiar with Holliday Park so she knows the good spots and knows where to take the shots with great background and lighting. End result - our photographs turned out fantastic. The turn around was fast, we took photos on Sunday and got the link to the pictures on Wednesday as promised. My wife and I are both very happy with the photos. And as many reviews stated, she gives you prints and the CD. She even has a website set up. Very convenient! We will definitely be calling Sue for our future photography needs and we would recommend her.

It was a great experience. She took all the time that we needed to do all the different poses we wanted. she picked beautiful spots in the park .She also allowed us to throw in a couple extra family photos. I love the fact that you could own the actual photograph instead of in digital form.
I could tell she loved preserving this special moment in time for our family. I really appreciate that.

We've asked Sue to take our family photos since my oldest was a baby, for roughly 11 years now. She's taken photos of our nuclear family as well as grandparent shots and once, she braved a photo session with my husband's entire family (approximately 30 people in all, including many, many small children).

We use one of her photos for our Christmas card every single year, and every year we get so many compliments from people - and really, we're pretty ordinary looking people - there's some trick she's doing with the lighting to make us look so good! A friend said to me enviously, "You've even got the dog looking at the camera in this picture - who gets the dog looking at camera???" My niece, who's worked with a school photographer for years, took me aside after the massive family photo and said that she had never seen anyone that good at managing and photographing large groups of people. And I have to concur.

She's is always on time, she's always prepared, she is able to charm small children and dogs (one year, she held my dog's leash with one hand and took the photo of us with the other, while barking to get Sandy's attention - I mean, she's an impressive multitasker), she's flexible, and her prices are fantastic. We've blown up several of her photos as well to use as canvases in our dining room. I really cannot recommend her too highly. Her photos are beautiful and every year, the biggest problem is figuring out which one we should use for the Christmas card, and which ones to frame.

My partner and I were more than a bit perplexed by the whole wedding planning process, as we never expected to be able to get married. I asked a friend of mine for a recommendation, and she said Sue had been the photographer at her and her husband's wedding several years before. We were nervous about the cost involved. When we met with Sue, she explained her unique way of pricing her services, essentially we just paid her for the time she was actually at the wedding (including the pre-ceremony photos she did for us). She'd then provide a set of prints to us and a CD of all the photos she took that day.
What I really liked about Sue is her what-you-see-is-what-you-get, no-BS demeanor. We first met at a Starbucks by our house. She has so much wedding experience (well, photographing weddings, I mean) that she was able to give us a lot of good advice about the planning and validated our choice of caterer and florist. She really put us at ease with all our wedding planning and not just the photography.
The day of the wedding, she arrived shortly after we got to the venue, about two hours early. She said she had done weddings at the IMA previously and knew the best locations to use for our photos before the service. She told us she did some research for the best photo positioning for same-s** couples. AND she brought a LOVE statute with her for us to hold while we stood in front of the full-size LOVE statute on the grounds of the IMA. I can't remember if we mentioned it to her before, but we purchased the LOVE statutes for table decorations and to give to our guests. So it was absolutely perfect to have them as part of our photos. In fact, I don't think we told her about the statues. She just seems to be very intuitive as far as knowing what wedding couples will want. And her efficiency was amazing getting all the photos done in under an hour (then we took family members aside to do their photos). I felt like she went above way beyond any expectations of her to make sure our day was perfect.
During the ceremony and reception, she was completely unobtrusive, but managed to capture some amazing moments! It wasn't until we got the photos back that we realized just how many memories she captured for us, ones that we would have never known about had she not been in the right place at the right time. Because of all her wedding experience, I never had to worry about her missing special moments, like the lighting of the Unity candle. It's worth mentioning the number of people from our wedding who came up to Sue to say hello, because Sue had done their family photos for years or done someone's wedding they knew. In fact, my sister-in-law said that she used Sue for her family and kid's photos growing up, and now her oldest daughter is using Sue to photograph her own family now.
In short, Sue is exactly the kind of wedding photographer (or any kind of wedding contractor) you want there on your special day. She is pleasant, calming, super prepared, organized and the consummate professional in every regard.

Sue is super flexible. With 3 young children something is always coming up. Over the years we have everything from a child that came down with the stomach flu the day of our session to a child that tripped and fell getting out out of the car and ended up with a fat lip and a bloody nose. Sue is very accommodating and patient. I especially like that Sue gives you a CD with all your pictures for you to print. I find it impossible to choose between pictures of my children. With other photographers I always felt trapped by packages that only allowed you a certain number of poses.

Sue came highly recommended to me by cousins who had used her for all of their family photos and functions for many years. Our family began working with Sue 4-5 years ago as our family grew and now for professional work.

Amazing work. Sue is really good with kids and it showed in the pictures. A one-hour photo shoot with rights to do whatever I want with the pictures is exactly the product that I wanted. She was very flexible on scheduling, and she had the disc ready for pick-up within a couple of days.
