SPIC & SPAN CLEANING SERVICES

I bought the deal that was offered, but then later found out I wasn't in the service area. I have tried over and over again to get this website to quit pestering me about this service. Customer service has told me several times that they fixed the problem, but it keeps popping back up. Maybe providing this review will finally make the Angie's List website leave me alone.

Worked out fine for what we needed at the time!

The service did not turn out well. They sent 4 people out for the service. We previously had one cleaning person who could clean my home within 4 hours. This company could not even clean the whole house in the four time frame. They were certainly not as efficient as the other company w had used and they did not do a thorough job in the areas they had worked on.

They were alright. The people were very nice but my dog did not like them that made me nervous but they seemed nice to me. It was just that there were some strange things for use of electronics in the home as far as using my things when they were home. It was nice though.

I called and left messages, but did not receive a return call.

They cleaned the house, as per the agreement.

I purchased a $99 Angie's List Big Deal for this service. My husband handled this service, but it turned out very well and he was impressed with what they did. Their thoroughness impressed him, especially in the kitchen.

Overall, the provdier did a good job. I purchased the services through Angie's List Big Deal so the price was very reasonable. I wanted an appointment prior to the Christmas but they were fully booked until after Christmas. I didn't have them clean the whole house only a few areas The provider was responsive as they returned my call within one day. They were on-time on the day of services and friendly. The quality of work was pretty good although a couple of stains in one bathtub and one bathroom floor weren't removed.

I tried once to contact them before the deal expired but did not get anyone. I contacted them by email after it expired to see if I could work out something but did not get a reply. I should have tried harder to reach them before it expired but wasted my money.

I bought the big deal to have my house cleaned. The provider initially answered my call and set an appt. The provider cancelled and then would not return calls. I was never able to reach the provider again. I had to contact Angie's list and get a refund. I would never use this provider.

A few days after leaving both a voice mail and an email request for an appointment, I received an email note from the provider (attached) saying that she was having shoulder surgery and that her two daughters (who apparently work for her) were fully booked and that I should request a refund. After looking at the reviews on the List, I was glad she gave me an out - the reviews are terrible, with many Fs, apparently because the owner underestimated the demand and her capacity to provide services to so many people.

Arrived as scheduled and gave the house a good once over. This is not a complete "deep" cleaning, but it is good for a busy family with kids who might not always have time to do the day-to-day things.

Everything I wanted them to clean, they said they didn’t do for the Angie’s List discount. I wanted them to dust, vacuum, and clean the toilets. They said that they dusted, but they didn’t do any cleaning, no sinks, no toilets.

I talked to the head lady and she offered thirty euro off the next cleaning, but I did not want to do that. It was a bit of a struggle at first I did not spend anymore than I paid for the big deal. There was a mix-up of the days. I took a day off work and they did not show up. I tried to get across to the owner, she needed to be more specific in relation to what they include in their special deal. She did try to make it up. They did not list in the disclosure what was included in the special. I think the price was good.

Was pleased with the service. Used them for several months after trying them with a Big Deal.

I initially bought this as an Angie's Deal for $75. They came and cleaned and did a great job, so I began using them regularly. After some months, the owner had health problems that prevented her from coming with the crew. I had been paying $120 for 3 people who were here for about 2 hours. After she stopped coming, it was two people who were gradually here less and less time, and NEVER at the appointed hour. The last straw was the day they were 1 1/2 hours late and the 2 people were here for 1 hour and 15 min. Needless to say, they had started cutting many corners to the point where it was intolerable. I think if the owner had continued to stay involved it would have gone differently. As it appears that her health will not permit her to continue house cleaning, I would not hire this company.

I wish I could rate Spic and Span on their service, however, I never received the service. I signed up to a coupon from Angie's List and then when Spic and Span called, we collectively decided my location was too far for them to travel (I'm on the South side of Indy, they are located North side.) I didn't want them traveling that far to perform the cleaning, we both agreed to cancel. AFter multiple phone calls, I have not received any refund from Angie's List or Spic and Span. The last phone call with Spic and Span, the owner agreed to contact Angie's List to initiate the refund. This has not been done and I'm out $100 for a service that was never performed.

I bought this service and got sick and was late trying to get it set up. I called them on a couple of occasions, only got the answering machine and left messages, and never heard back from them. So, in essence, I paid them $100 to ignore me. I understood that if I was beyond the time frame and that I wouldn't get the same deal, but they never responded to me about any work being done, even with me paying more for the work. They basically ripped me off for the money by not responding. I gave up trying and will definitely tell everyone what kind of service I got from this company. Not a good thing for them.

I bought Angie's List Deal for housecleaning. I called to schedule service and set up a date. The day of the service, I waited at home for them to arrive. No one showed up. I called after 30 minutes, then again after an hour. I then waited to call after 3 hours. I finally reached someone on my fourth call. She had been hospitalized and would not be able to work for several weeks. I rescheduled for after her rehab. The day of the rescheduled appointment, no one showed up or called. I called back. Again, it took 3-4 calls/messages before I was able to speak with the owner. She stated that my rescheduled date was when I could call to make an appointment, not when the house was to be cleaned. So, I made my third appointment. When that was also missed without a call, I asked for a refund and was told to go to Angie's List. I have attempted to obtain a refund from Angie's List, but have given up. I no longer buy deals from Angie's List.

They came in and did the work. Not much attention to detail, and not impressive results.

I purchased a Coupon for Two Separate Deep Cleanings. From the initial call to schedule services problems were evident. Cell was not charged had to call several times to reach and actually talkBarriers about the location of the place for services to be performed required an up-charge. Services had to booked out weeks in advance When re-scheduling was required to work out of town requirements again it was required to book out way in advance When I agreed to have someone else at my home and keep the scheduled date she indicated that she did not want to work with me since I had not expressed empathy for current health conditions that she was dealing with. She then told me she would contact Angies List to process a refund. Professionalism was not evident in my dealings...Not what had been expected is the bottom line.

Service was professional but quick.

Tried on numerous occasions to contact company and was told she was booked up and to call back in a few weeks. Tried again and told same thing and if I want just get a refund. Found very unprofessional and if they cannot handle the large workload they should not offer a deal. I finally received a refund for the Big Deal. Will not purchase one from this company again or use their services.

The two ladies that came were very professionaly and did everything that I had requested. The only reason I did not give them an oustanding on punctuality is that they were about 20 minutes late due to traffice issues; howver they did call me before the appointment time to give me a heads up that they would be late. Overall great service.
