This is a multi-member LLC with 2 members/managers. Ernesto & Lisa Perez are entrepreneurs living in Indianapolis, IN. Ernesto has 13+ years experience in granite fabrication and installation. Specialized Granite Indy fabricates and installs custom granite countertops. We can help create the perfect ambiance in your kitchen and/or bathroom with granite countertops. Whether you want to upgrade your kitchen or bathroom for pure aesthetic pleasure or to add value to your home, Specialized Granite Indy, LLC is the perfect company to customize the look you envision. He is there every step of the way for the fabrication and installation. Lisa operates behind the scenes as the business administrator. Lisa's career has spanned from environmental conservation efforts to hospitality and travel. She holds a BS from IU and a MS from North Carolina State. Having lived in foreign countries and experienced how integral entertainment and home hospitality is in all cultures, they want to offer the functionality and refinement of granite countertops to locals of Indiana. They envision the business growing to be nation-wide. Ernesto & Lisa enjoy family time, outdoor activities, soccer, piano, singing in choir, and hosting parties with friends. My wife and I had our bathroom remodeled and we were told by the contractor that he uses Specialized Granite company of Indy for the counter tops and shower pieces. Specialized Granite installed different granite than what we ordered. I has 3 granite people, 1 contractor, and 1 realtor tell us the pieces used in the shower and the vanity top did NOT come form the same piece of granite. In fact the backsplash on the vanity was cut and glued together. We were NEVER told about the backsplash being pieced together. The owner never admitted to any wrong doing, different pieces of granite or the broken granite that was glued together. There was no effort made to correct the mistakes. I would NOT recommend this company for any granite or quartz. It seems they just want to rush in and get on to the next job. If I could give "ZERO" stars, I would. I was totally dissatisfied with their work. I ended up replacing the vanity pieces and shower pieces at my own expense with another company.

They were great to work with from the start. We got a general quote. The salesperson met with us at a granite yard and got us a few more quotes based on the granite we liked. We then picked our granite and made a deposit. A few days later they measured our cabinets. Then after another couple of weeks they performed the install as scheduled. They were very professional and genuinely invested in us having a good experience throughout the whole process. We love our new kitchen (which only took 2 days to transform)!

Finding someone to cut if for me took a few calls so it was great to find them. I brought the Granite and the measurements to them. The quoted me a price for my cuts and said they had to polish a couple of ends that hadn't been and would cut the sink on site. The cuts were great. I hated that they cut the sink hole in my kitchen because even though they vaccummed it up I had granite dust to clean off of every surface. One long run that had to be glued together and they didn't quite get it dark enough but I can live with it. The picture is below. The issue I have with price is the price they quoted me and what was actually done. They said I needed 3 of the ends polished, they polished 2. The one end was an end that the refrigerator sits against so it's not a problem, the other is cut that I wanted on the back of one of the pieces for some water lines. They did not do that one either. I called and asked about being charged for work that wasn't done and they said they would get back to me. They haven't.

We were on a very tight schedule in our kitchen reno, most companies had a 5-8 week lead time...and they blew our expectations out of the water. From picking out our granite to fabrication and install it was like 2 weeks! They were very quick, responsive, and it looks great!

The two representatives were very pleasant and professional, did an excellent job, were thoughtful in preparations to minimize dust and cleaned up after completion. After completing their work, they placed the unit into the opening to ensure proper fit.

Ernesto was great! From coming over to measure, to getting the template for the sink, to installing the countertops, everything was very smooth. He stated he could save us money (always a good thing to hear!!) by creating 1 seam so we'd only have to buy 1 slab instead of 2 of quartz counter tops. Price was great and over half of what we'd were quoted before. Thank you!!

Ernesto provided personalized service from the start making himself available via phone, text or email. He was professional and someone that we felt comfortable with from our first meeting. There was one small hiccup with the project which was great with this big of a project. Ernesto was gracious in guiding us through and ensuring our satisfaction. You could feel Ernesto's sincerity and desire for us to be 100% satisfied with our product and the overall experience.
We could not have had a better experience and will use Ernesto again when updating our bathrooms.

Ernesto did a wonderful job from beginning to end. He was very prompt in returning my calls and was always polite and professional. I had called other contractors who were slow to respond or rude so I chose to work with Ernesto and would gladly do so again. I've had a lot of updating done in my Fishers home in the past year and Ernesto was by far the most professional and reliable! The countertops are gorgeous and he and the two gentlemen who did the installation left my kitchen spotless!

Ernesto did a great job. He was very responsive and offered fair prices. After we picked out our granite, he even met us there so that we could walk through which piece of the slab would be used for the island and each counter top. He was also able to provide the sinks for us at reasonable prices. We'd definitely use him again.

Ernesto was an absolute pleasure to work with. Initially, he provided the church with the most competitive quote. More importantly, he performed the work in a very professional manner and worked closely with us to resolve unforeseen issues that surfaced given the age and condition of the original marble on the alter. They did a great job installing my quartz counter tops. They told me exactly what it was going to cost before we went into the work. They put me in touch with the companies that had the slabs. They were able to install them without seams. They helped me make my choice. He was good at communicating with me. I got a very good price. I would use them again.

He helped us figured out the issue and even waited for us to return and exchange the faucet so that he can install it for us! We are very happy with his quality of service.

When it came time to provide a ?new look? for our kitchen and bathroom countertops, we trusted our general contractor and worked with Ernesto Perez, owner of Specialized Granite. We were searching for just the right granite to co-exist with and complement our existing cabinets in the kitchen and three bathrooms. We spent many hours going to different granite distributors and with Ernesto?s help finally selected just the right granite.
Not only are Ernesto?s rates super competitive, but he is incredibly patient and bends over backwards to make sure you are pleased with his work. He even managed to secure discounted remnant rates for the granite in the three bathrooms. He measures, measures again, and does a template so that everything fits correctly in the allocated space. He even made adjustments on the job site, like when our new sink faucet lever was a little too close to the edge of the granite ledge above it, and shaved off some granite on two sides so the piece nestled in place perfectly.
Ernesto also provided great pricing on the under-mount sinks in the bathrooms. If you are looking for a master craftsman who will treat you fairly and go above and beyond to make sure you end up with just the right granite look in your kitchen or bathroom,
you should call Ernesto to make a bid for your renovation.

I can't say enough good things about Ernesto. The finished project is BEAUTIFUL, plus he stayed on time and budget, there were no surprises. He was a pleasure to work with from the beginning of the project to the end and was very accommodating with both of our busy work schedules.
We had only received one other quote from a company (Granite America) before hiring Ernesto and I am SO happy we found him. He made everything so easy. We knew we wanted lighter color granite, since I was staining our cabinets a darker color. He dropped off 3-4 lighter pieces of granite in our price range for us to choose from. He nailed the colors - he knew exactly what we liked. He didn't charge extra for doing a crescent shaped island, or for doing a bull nose finish on the edges (the other company wanted to charge extra for these things). He also offered us a few different options for sinks, at half the price of what the other company was charging. I work with companies and service providers similar to Specialized Granite Indy and Ernesto every day; I can honestly say from experience that Ernesto is one of the most genuine owners I've met. He's honest, dependable and offers a great service and finished project. We'll be using him again soon to install the granite in our master bathroom as well!

Met Ernesto at supply house to pick out granite. He explained thoroughly the process involved in getting granite countertops. He indicated I could keep my old sink but suggested a new sink that fit under the granite would look nicer and be easier to clean.
I bought a new sink and I am glad that I did. I am very pleased with the outcome. I went to a shop and picked out tile for the back splash. I wanted a design in the back splash like the one in the tile shop showroom but the area above my sink was not wide enough. The work was a dusty process but well worth it and the final results were excellent. Ernesto is a friendly and competent provider who knows granite work.
