Sparkling Image Carwash

On Saturday 9/23/17, I had a full service high shine $35 wash. I came to the counter to pay for my wash and two ladies were cashiers at the counter. I stood at the counter waiting to be acknowledged. A man walked up to the cashier I was standing in front of, and the young woman took his bill to ring him. I said, " so you did not see me standing here?". The taller young woman said, "what do you mean? I didn't see you? Sorry I've been really busy." I said well you need to do better. She said "do better at what?". I said "Do better at seeing Black Women". She got angry and began talking a lot , and talking very fast. I told her she should stop talking and "I'm sorry was a satisfactory response." The other cashier tried to intercede and ring me. The same lady who did not ring me originally, told her co-worker "no you can't do it, she's paying with credit". She finished ringing the gentlemen and asked for my card. She asked me to sign the receipt. I signed it, wrote my name in manuscript, and wrote " Do Better. Look Up and See Black Women". She looked at What I wrote. She balled it up, and threw it in the trash. She hit the register and created a new receipt and held it up to me with the gesture to say' "na I have it". I said "so that's your response to what I wrote". She said something to the effect that, "i was really busy and you made it racial.". I asked her her name. She said, "my name is ______, do you want me to write it down?" I said, "Absolutely!!! Please do". This was a very bad experience because at the time I walked up to the counter I was the only person there and I was standing almost directly in front of her. I took a photo of the counter. It goes on because when I got in the car, the $35 high shine was a very very bad interior Armor All job that looked like children did it, and there were 2 big oily smudges on the windshield, likely from the Armor All. Needless to say that was a very bad experience at the Indianapolis Castleton Sparkling Image.

First, they left the parking brake on and the car wash dragged my pickup truck through with the back wheels locked.  When I pointed this out to the guy who drove it out of the wash he said, "they're idiots" and went on about his business.  It took about fifteen minutes to dry the car and water was seeping from everywhere when I drove it away so that by the time I arrived at home, the paint had streaks everywhere.  This has not been my experience elsewhere.  Obviously, training needs to be improved but I think the water they use has not been properly filtered resulting in residue streaks all over the car. This was not my first bad experience with Sparkling Image but will definitely be my last.

They did a wonderful job.  The inside of my car looked brand new and it is 12 years old.  I recommend their services.  They also have good specials.

Love the coupons they send out in valu pak and my husband can use the one I get off of the reciept. Very friendly staff as well.

RIP OFF My car looked horrible. Windows smeared and not clean at all, even though I emphasized that I really wanted the windows clean. Didn't even touch the back windshield on the inside. Even the rear-view mirrors were smeared. Water or wax spots all over the body. I get a much better wash going to an automated spray wash for eight bucks. Twenty-five dollars down the tubes. Called and spoke to manager. He was very polite and offered to re-do it. But it's Monday morning. I don't have time for that. Wouldn't recommend this place AT ALL.

Well, this is not the review I thought I would write. Somehow, my car was left in drive and crashed into a large concrete pillar, causing $7,000 damage. I was shocked and pretty upset when it happened. But I have to say I was impressed by the way the company handled an awkward and problematic situation. Right away, the manager assured me this was not going to cost me a dime. We filled out a company incident report together, called police and then made a police report. The manager and assistant manager were deeply and genuinely apologetic. That didn't make me feel a whole lot better but it was very professional of them. They sent me to a rental car agency they deal with, saying they would pay for the car as long as I needed it. When I got there, the rental agency was out of cars except for a very expensive SUV. Sparkling Image had them put me into it at their cost without delay and allowed me to drive this nice vehicle for what ended up being a month. They paid for all the estimated repairs without and debate or complaint. In the end, my car was repaired and I was inconvenienced much less than I expected.
Of course, this is what you would expect a company to do in this kind of circumstance. But we all know that's not always what happens. In this case, Sparkling Image was upfront from the start, accepted blame and made good on all its promises. I will be back for future car washes even after the drove my car through a concrete pillar. How's that for an endorsement?

I had my car washed and detailed at Sparkling Image. They always do a great job and I'm always happy with the results. The only difference between Sparkling Image and Mikes Car Wash is the price. I will continue to use Sparkling Image in the future and I would recommend their services to everyone!

There was only one car in line, but after the wash we had to wait 35 minutes until completed.  The window cleaners etc...moved very slow working only one car at a time.  The service was unusually poor.

Very disappointed. They raised their price 30% to$129.95. They also did a terrible job. There were still bugs on the bumper and windshield. There were a few spots on the interior that they had missed.
I had high expectations because of good previous experiences.
I asked to speak to the manager. He agreed and apoligized and came back with a rag and cleaner and proceeded to clean the places that I had pointed out. Still a marginal job.
I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. Nor could I recommend them for detailing. The car wash itself is pretty decent.

Sparkling Image Car Wash is very thorough and do a really good job. They do a hand dry which I really like. I will continue to use them.

it took about 20 minutes and i went in on a saturday evening.  It gave me just enough time to order pizza and pick it up in time between going from Castleton to Geist Area.  I wouldn't recommend having time constraints when you go to get it done.  While I waited I shopped in their wait area and the items they had there were great and not too expensive (i.e. I would have paid more in a store for the same quality).

I've used this company in the past. They have always been adequate to good at times. This day after my car was out of the wash and waiting to be dried, they had several people outside that day, including several of the guys in white shirts and ties. One of the white shirt guys worked on my car while several other guys stood around talking. Once he finished with the windows he left the wiper blades up off of the window and walked away. I sat there outside and no one bothered waving to let me know they were finished. No other cars were out at that point and sthey stood around talking. It was very unusual for this place but very obvious that no one cared to finish the transaction. Because of this I wont go back. I've used them a dozen times at least but I'll use Mikes at this point

Went well. I called around 1000 am and asked if I could bring the car in around noon. They said that would be fine, should be finished around 4pm or a little later. I did have to call them to find out if the car was finished (around 5:30pm.) rather than them calling me. Otherwise, the experience was good and the car looks GREAT!!!

They did a great job. Our SUV is 5 years old and we have 4 kids but you wouldn't know it now!

This car wash is great. They are considerably cheaper then others, but the job they do is much, much better on anything from just a car wash to detailing your car. They aren't as busy usually as other places, and they work very fast as well. Give them a try and you won't regret it.

We have been very pleased with the service at Sparkling Image. It's a great value for the money. When I took our van there to be washed, my husband thought at first glance that I had gotten it detailed for $100+! We have young kids, so there was food, etc., down in the crevices and they got most of it out. All fingerprints were wiped off the inside windows. The tires shined and the carpet was well-vacuumed. And when I paid, they gave me a coupon for several dollars off the next visit. So follow-up washes are even cheaper!
