Sewer Doctors

I needed work done quickly and they were available. There was sewage dumping into a crawl space when the toilet was flushed. They snaked the drain but did not pull out any tree roots. The drain was still blocked (even worse according to them). They told me that I needed to remove my magnolia tree and recommended his brother. The brother came out and removed the tree for a hefty fee He wanted to dig down to remove the pipe. I had a bad feeling about this plumber and his brother and looked on Angie's List for someone else. The next plumber put in a snake and removed a large handful of tree roots. The drain then ran freely without digging. The second plumber charged much less for the snaking. And the second plumber did it solo. When I called Joe Lewis to complain about the work, he did not return my phone call. Also, he told me while he was working that the city would not come out to check the drain line. He was wrong.
