Wed 7/22/2015 8:30 AM ServiceMaster called to say they would be here in about 25 minutes. Arrived and started packing my belongings up.
Thu 7/23/2015 8:30 AM ServiceMaster called to say they would be here in about 25 minutes. Arrived and continued packing my belongings up. Then they started removing baseboards, cutting out wet drywall, and removing wet carpet.
Fri 7/24/2015 Setup dehumidifers and fans to dry out everything ServiceMaster left around 10:30 AM.

Mon 7/27/2015 3:43 PM Anne Goetz (insurance adjustor) 450-1744 Cell 569-6008 called to check us and to get ServiceMasters phone number.
Tue 7/28/2015 8:00 AM Tommie from ServiceMaster called and said they would be out in about 25 minutes to remove blowers and dehumidifiers. They arrived about 8:25 and immediately started checking humidity levels and then removed the equipment. He told me the reconstruction people would be calling to arrange the work.
Wed 7/29/2015 to 8/12/2015 No communication from ServiceMaster so I called ServiceMaster left message
Thu 8/13/2015 Anne Goetz came to the house to see the work ServiceMaster had done.
Fri 8/14/2015 Allen from SereviceMaster returned my call and said I could call someone else to do the work (if I wasn;t happy with the wait). He said we would have to wait on the carpet. I said the carpet would be the last thing to be done and I could get carpet laid in a day.
Sat 8/15/2015 to Wed 9/2/15 No word from ServiceMaster.
Wed 9/2/2015 I called ServiceMasters corporate office @ 800-954-9444.
9/4/2015 I called ServiceMasters corporate office @ 800-954-9444 and spoke with ??? He said he was working on a quote with Anne and that they did not know I wanted them to do the renovation. He made excuses about them having to work with the insurance. Anne Goetz had already given approval. I asked him if he thought I was an idiot.
For 5 weeks our home was torn apart in the master bath, walkin closets, hallways, 2 downstairs bedrooms, & hallway.
Plus since I allowed them to store my belongings in my home I did not have use of our home theater, family room, living room and other areas that boxes and furniture and glassware were stored.
A ServiceMaster employee told me that they were working on other jobs.
We hired another contractor to do the renovation in the house..
Bottom line they came out did an excellent job remediating the water damage and then never came back to put the house back together. THEREFORE THE GRADE IS F
Furniture did come back clean and the work force was extremely helpful in getting the items put back where they belong.
Still waiting to hear about our piano. I was told it would take a week and it has now been nearly two months.

In my discussions with Joel he informed me that part of their business was home repair and restoration. I was so pleased with my work with them thus far that I asked them to handle the restoration also, which included replacement of the laminate floor with tile, base boards and quarter round in all three rooms. We met with Joel, Tammy (their design consultant) and Joe (the project manager) to discuss the project and pick out materials. In addition to the work required we also asked them to repaint the three rooms and replace the existing back splash in the kitchen. We decided to have them complete the project while we were going to be gone. The project was completed on time and as contracted. We now have a beautifully restored kitchen, half bath and laundry.
We could not be more pleased with the experience of working with ServiceMaster by Westphal, so much so we are already planning their next project while we are on our next vacation!
