Select Sewing Service offered a free estimate, which was done while I waited. Chris Helmick was able to diagnose the problem as a bent stitch finger, which he was able to repair as part of the "quick fix" option. My machine is back in good working order. I couldn't be more pleased with the service!

They offered a discount if I traded it in and gave me a quick lesson. I immediately realized how behind my machine was. The new one met my needs so much better!

Great! They scheduled it for several weeks out, I dropped it off and they finished early. They took great care of my machine and told me what I need to do to keep it running well for a long time, even though it isn't an expensive or fancy machine and I did not purchase it from them. Answered all of my questions, even ones I hadn't thought to ask!

Wonderful service - full repair would be very time consuming and expensive, so they offered a good price on a used machine - but still did some repairs to the old machine to make it serviceable, so I ended up with a new (better) machine plus a spare. Price for the replacement machine may not have been as good as something online, but I wanted to purchase from this shop because the expertise and customer service are both fantastic!

I highly recommend this company. Very orofessional, offered me tips to avoid this problem in the future. They have my business for years to come.

Before I go on vacation, I make an appointment to bring in machines for routine service. They have the work doe before I return home. Repairs are usually done as soon as possible.

The owner was so professional, he diagnosed my machine right away. I was also looking for a new machine and he took a long time explained and showed them for me! It was a very delightful visit!

I have scheduled regular service in advance. They have helped me as soon as possible on emergency problems.

Jim, the owner, helped me. He showed me what I did wrong, replaced a bent needle, loosened some screws that I could not remove, and many more helpful suggestions and tweaking of my machine. He was beyond helpful and so very nice. I can't believe I found a sewing machine repair store that offers classes and accessories long with super service. I hope I don't need more repairs, but if I do I know where I am going. But they will see me for their sewing classes. Thank you so much Jim.

Drove from Avon to take my 40 year old singer for them to repair. The gentleman that looked at it had it working perfect in 2 minutes. He showed me what I was doing wrong and cleaned out threads in bottom of machine. Would not charge me anything and carried to my car. If I ever need any more repairs I would drive 100 miles to take it to them. A 1 service

WOW, if you want "top notch" service for your sewing machine, you really need to make Select Sewing your repair shop. They not only fixed my Husqvarna Viking Designer I, but they made it like a BRAND NEW sewing machine. They even cleaned the entire outside of the machine. It looks beautiful and sews like a brand new sewing machine just out of the box, even though I've had this machine for several years. I also have an Elna 8000 that I bought from this shop over 20 years ago and it still runs perfect. If you want TOP NOTCH repairs on your sewing machines, bring them to Sewing Select. They repair any sewing machines even if you didn't buy it from them. Awesome, awesome service............Great Company....

The staff was very courteous and professional. They gave good advice regarding my machine. Unfortunately due to the age of my machine, it was more cost effective to buy a new one than to fix it.

When I told them what I was interested in, a woman immediately showed me the models of this brand and told me briefly what they could do. There was absolutely no pressure to buy any of them. But once I decided on one, she sat down with me and gave me a complete demonstration of everything it could do. She also took time to let me try out the things I was interested in. I felt comfortable buying this machine because I had been able to try out the similar showroom model.

I went there to buy a bulb for my very old machine. They were exceptionally nice and helpful and actually placed the bulb in the machine for me. I really did appreciate that because I had never done this procedure before and had a tough time removing the blown bulb. In the process, it was pointed out to me that another bulb was expired. I had become accustomed to sewing without the other area being illuminated and had forgotten that the area should be. Challenged by the age of the machine and condition of the affected area, they were still successful in replacing the second blown bulb. I was so pleasantly surprised and pleased. They are absolutely outstanding.

I brought my machine in because the thread was knotting and nothing I tried was helping. Within a minute they had my machine up on the counter examining it. There was nothing wrong with the machine (totally user error) so the gentleman gave me some tips and sent me on my way - no charge. They even gave me a free foot. Excellent customer service!

I was very pleased with a small repair adjustment made to my 30 year old Singer sewing machine. The tension would not stay constant on the machine. They completed the work on time and I have been very happy with how it has worked since the repair. The people here are experienced professionals. I also had an estimate done on what it would take to repair my mother's old White sewing machine. The largest, most important part that needed to be replaced is no longer made and very difficult to obtain. They informed me of this and recommended I not try to have it fixed. I really appreciated their forthright explanation. It is refreshing to have a service provider really looking out for their customers' best interest.

Service was excellent. I was given bill before work was started so there was no surprise when I picked up my machine. They discovered something else was wrong so ita was also repaired at no additional charge.

I called them first to be sure they serviced my make of machine and they did. Brought it in the next day, showed them what was wrong and they told me what the lowest charge would be for service. It was ready and repaired within the time frame. When I picked it up they had repaired it and didn't charge me any extra cost. Professional and friendly.

I am very satisfied with their service. Emergency repairs were done as quickly as possible. For regular servicing of the machines, I have made an appointment in advance, and the machineswere ready when expected.

They are very knowledgable and gave me a brief lesson on a sewing w Velcro. They were fun too.

My little portable ELNA has been with me a long time and I have not always given her the attention she might need. After retiring, I became more motivated to sew again but the machine, while it ran, did not perform up to its normal perfection. Select Service treated her kindly and expertly.
