We called Brandon and he was out within the day with an estimate within the next day. The estimate to replace the whole screened porch, including most wooden elements, the screen door, and screening was $1717.00 (with some cost to remove bushes against the porch), and when we agreed to the charges he came out and did it with his crew in one relatively long day. We are pleased with the final product, and I would be inclined to hire Brandon for a very wide range of tasks beyond screen porches alone. He is a very nice guy, communicates quickly and clearly, and did good and rapid work.

Brandon came right on time the very next day after I called him. He was very professional and did a great job on our wooden screen door. He went above and beyond by putting a small round metal piece on the door opener at the top (not sure of correct name) which keeps the door open when needed. We would hire him again and highly recommend his services.

Perfect--repairman arrived a few minutes early, which was fine with me. Repairs were completed on my front porch, in less than 30 minutes. This is a great service and so convenient for the repairs to be made at your home.

Had a hard time getting a hold of him at first. I think it might be a new owner. I messaged him a couple times through Angie's List but never heard back. Once I actually read the Angie's List profile it clearly gives instructions on how to get a hold of the company- email or cell phone. Once I reached out to the correct email address he got back with me right away. They scheduled me that week and got the work done. My home is over an hour from their location so I appreciated him taking the time to get there for the estimate and then again for the work. The price ended up being less then what he initially quoted me so it was a nice surprise!

We were so happy with the work Shane completed on our screened-in porch. We had old screens in frames that were clipped to each window and were looking old. Shane installed new screens by fitting them between 2 pieces of wood trim inside each window opening. The result was amazing. Our window lines look so much cleaner because you don't see clips on the outside of the window frames, nor do we have individual frames for each screen. The built-in screens look SO much nicer than what we had before. Shane also installed a new wooden screen door for us to complete the look. We are VERY happy with the way our porch now looks. Shane quoted us a very reasonable price and did a fantastic job! I will definitely be calling on Screens n Things for future screen installation and repairs.

We were very happy with the work done by Shane at Screens n Things! Our original screens that were replaced were screens that were in individual frames and clipped to the window openings. Shane installed new screens that are now in between two pieces of wood trim...no more clips and a very clean look. We are so happy with how nice the new screens look. The procedure Shane used now provides us with much cleaner looking lines and nice, tight screens. The newly installed door looks great too. We will definitely be calling on Shane's services for our future screening needs!

Great! Shane is very professional. He was able to get me a quote within a few days and explained the process thoroughly. We had to re-schedule because of the weather, but Shane got us on the schedule within the next week. He has been in touch with me via phone, text, and email throughout the process. The porch looks amazing - he even installed a new door for us and came back to replace wood that had rotted that he discovered while working on the screen. Shane is friendly, professional, and communicates well - and the finished product is amazing! I would definitely recommend him to others and plan to contact him again in the future for other projects.

Shane does the work onsite which saved us from having to remove the screens and take them for repair. He replaced every screen in the house (1500sq ft) including the patio screen. There were 5 screens that needed the frames rebuilt. He didn't have all the material with him so he ran to Menards to buy the parts. He is very fast and does a great job. Much cheaper than anyone else we looked at, even including doing some of the work ourselves. I would definitely recommend his service.

The front door screen had a 25-year-old non-standard screen retainer. Shane carefully removed it and worked very hard to put it back into place. The result looks good, and I was very glad he could do it!

We contacted Shane initially to rescreen our back-yard screened porch and to replace some of the rotted trim pieces with PVC wood that we had identified. The day the work was to be performed was a very hot and humid day and our porch is on the south side of our house. Shane worked all day, taking very few breaks and the work looked great when completed. He did a wonderful job of cleanup - even asking for a broom or shop vac - and took all of the old screening and wood, which was a wonderful benefit for us as some of the wood pieces were quite long and all had nails sticking out of them. After Shane left we looked at the pieces of trim he had replaced with PVC wood and decided we wanted to replace the remainder of the trim with the same type of PVC wood -- to prevent future rot and because it looked so great. We contacted Shane and asked him if we would do this type of work and advised it would be about 15 pieces of trim -- some in excess of 13' feet long and 10" high. He responded that he definitely would do the work and a date was scheduled. As luck would have it, the date this work was to be performed was again a miserable, hot, sunny and humid day. Again, he did a great job of replacing the trim pieces and a wonderful job of cleaning up and taking all of the rotted trim pieces with him. The screening is tight and the porch looks great.

Shane is very good at this. He came over and got right to work. He gave honest assessments of each window screen and tried to help us save money where possible. A couple frames were bent and he hammered them back into shape instead of rebuilding the whole thing. He's a very nice guy and I will definitely hire him again in the future!

After contacting another repairman at a different company and waiting over two weeks for that company's estimate, I gave up on them and instead contacted Shane at Screens n Things. He responded within a day, had an estimate to me one day later and the work was done within the week. He contacted me on the day of the work to let me know he would be there a little early (which was great!) and got the work done quickly. His work was great, and his professionalism and follow-through made this an outstanding experience. I highly recommend him.

Shane (owner) responded quickly to my request for information, and was able to provide an accurate quote via e-mail/text messaging. I was in the process of selling my home, and Shane worked to fit me into his schedule on short notice.
