Painters were prompt and communicated well. It was a good experience using Russell Painting.

We found Russell Painting Company on Angie's List and contracted with them for an interior project that included dry wall repair, ceiling repair and to paint walls in a cathedral ceiling living space. Russell exceeded our expectations in many quality related ways. Eric, the owner, provided a detailed quote that showed the cost for each task; there were no surprises on completion. The estimate was reasonable. The painting crew (2 persons on day one and four on day two) were outstanding. Olvin, the team leader, did a great job supervising the others and working hard himself. They carefully covered vulnerable areas such as hard wood floors and masked all woodwork; the painting work was excellent, clean up well done. The crew took Covid-19 precautions including mask wearing. They were personable and professional. Further we were impressed that Eric visited each day to check the work and to ask if we had any questions or issues. Plus, he did a final inspection when the job was completed. We rate them A+.

I would highly recommend Russell Painting Co.! We had Eric come out to provide a quote for having our ceilings painted, and needed the work done on relatively short notice as we were getting our floors done in the house the following week. Eric was booked out for some time, but due to weather postponing some exterior jobs, he was able to squeeze us in and get the work done on very short notice. The quality of their work was exceptional, and we had some challenging repairs and texturing that we needed done, but it turned out better than we would have expected. We had one spot on our ceiling that was yellowing due to a leak in the ceiling that we were not aware of prior (no fault of the painters), and Eric agreed to have his team come out and fix/repaint the area a few weeks down the line once we get the roof replaced and leak repaired. Just great customer service overall, and at a very competitive rate. I look forward to using Russell Painting for future painting projects around our home!

The work they did was excellent. They came out quickly after I called. They were very communicative and stayed in touch. The price was very reasonable and was completely in line with their original quote. Would absolutely recommend and use them again.

We priced out our exterior painting job with several companies, and Eric was responsive and professional throughout the process. Even better, his quote came to more than 25% less than one of the other flashier local companies with similarly high reviews. An inexpensive quote wouldn't matter if the work weren't up to par, but we are happy to say that our house looks great, and we couldn't be happier with Russell Painting Company. We will be recommending them to any of our friends or family who need work done in the future.

Fantastic. We have hired Eric & Russell painting on two separate occasions. We have also referred him to our friends and neighbors. Most recently I needed some work done on the spur of the moment and he was very, very accommodating with his time schedule. I also change my mind on the color during the process and he was more than patient with me! I love all the work we had done!

Eric was extremely friendly and professional. He was very responsive to my many questions and detailed in any information he provided. He always called me back or emailed back in a timely manner. His 2 painters were a pleasure to work with as well. They were at my home for a couple of days. My 2 toddlers didn't seem to bother them much :) My wife and kids felt very comfortable with them being their, which was a huge deal in my opinion. The painters walked around with my wife at end of project to touch anything up that needed attention. Eric also did a final walk through when he dropped off the invoice. I was very pleased with the experience overall, and the paint job itself. My house looks new! I would definitely use Eric again if needed.

Came over and did the work. Filled nail holes on my windows. Painted our windows upstairs but did not clean it after. He called afterword, sent two guys over to complete the work and apologized for not completing everything to the customer's satisfaction. He stated that he would do anything he could to fix what was wrong.

Repair of rotted wood and creative solutions to fix issues with wooden siding were handled competently by one of the painter/carpenters on the Richmond Indiana staff. Painting of the house was done quickly and professionally. As a bonus, they were able to complete the work before the weather changed.

The crew was very responsive and easy to work with. Not only did they do the touch ups that I asked for but they went above and beyond the work required. I would hire them back in a second for any future work!.

He had a crew of three painters. They worked efficiently and they did a nice job. When we had questions Eric came out the same day to answer any questions. He was the best price offered that we got as well. I would highly recommend this company.

From the initial scheduling inquires upon agreeing to his proposal to the job's completion (final walk-around this evening) Eric was easily reached by phone, text, and email. Easily the best communication I've had hiring someone to work on any part of my home. We are very satisfied with the work performed, our house looks great. He and his crew completed the work performed right on schedule (even working around the occasional thunderstorm!)

I would not hesitate to hire Eric in the future or recommend him to anyone in need of an exterior paint job.

Eric returned my call promptly, and came out the next day to give me an estimate for the work I wanted done.  He made several good suggestions, answered all my questions, and gave me an estimate right away. The painting was  done on time on the day we set, and Robert went out of his way to do quality, professional work.  

The painters were very professional, came on time and did an outstanding job.

This is the only review on painting contractors that you need to reed.
Before searching on Angie's List, I have never heard of Russel Painting, but I am very glad that I contacted this company.
They did an excellent job on our project.  Eric was very proactive in communication before and during my project.  The company's service was outstanding.  The quality of work was excellent, service was great and they even came back for a small amount of "touch up work" when they did not have to.  Eric went beyond what he had promised to do on our job.  His price was very competitive and his communication was just great.
I will certainly use Russell Painting on  any future projects that we may have and I would certainly recommend this company to anyone that is in need of a painting contractor.

Eric came at the last minute on a Saturday to give us an estimate, which was competitive with the other quote we received.  He did a good job checking in with his crew & keeping us informed of their progress.  We ended up finding a couple extra items that weren't a part of the original quote and he was quick to work them into the schedule.  Also, some of the colors we picked didn't end up covering the original paint, requiring additional coats - he worked with us to keep the price down as much as he could.  There were still some spots on final walk-through where the original paint was still showing through and he managed to work the guys back in the next day to touch up and get everything done.  The guys did a good job protecting surfaces that weren't being painted and cleaning up each day and at the end.  Because of the extra coats not anticipated and the add-on we asked for, the final price was higher than the original quote; however, Eric kept us informed each step of the way so there were never any surprises!  Which we greatly appreciate!

Mr. Russell was very quick to give his quote once coming to our house to check out the potential job.  HIs pricing was very competitive and he was  very personable. Once the job was started, we appreciated that Eric checked on his crew daily and the work that was being done.  We felt like both Eric and his crew took pride in their work and had great attention to detail. We would definitely use Russell Painting Company again and would recommend them to others.
