Every year I bring shoes for repair. If you prepay you get a 10% discount. The shoes come out looking brand new. Well worth it, small locally owned and all word of mouth. Cash and check only.

PERFECT. I wear shoes and dress western boots that are expensive to buy so I have them re-soled and re-heeled and refurbished to get as long life as possible. Ron's is the best cobbler that I have used in many years. Fair prices, reasonable turn around time, friendly service!

Both pairs of dress shoes were Johnston & Murphy, so I am very careful to ensure proper care with who I take these to. I have used him in past and will certainly continue to in the future.

I was frustrated as this was a new pair of sandals and the velcro strap would not stay fastened. I had gone by this location and decided to try them as it was on my way from other errands. This is a hole in the wall store, and they took my sandal and repaired the velcro on it. I was worried that it would look like it had been replaced, and that the leather would be marked. 
When I went back to get the shoe, the velcro was redone, and it looked PERFECT!!!! The repair was all of $7.49. They do only take cash- but wow!!!!! This place is awesome and I will use them again! They can do some limited repairs on other things, such as purses, suitcases- but you have to ask to see if they can do it. 
The guys were very nice, and polite, and I was very pleased. Cost was so low I was shocked, and felt that I could have and would have paid more to have this done with the quality that I saw. I would say the true value of this work would be 10-20$ otherwise.

I recently took an old leather tool case given to me by my father 45 years ago. Old and mildew all over it. They cleaned and restored it to an immaculate new looking case. These guys are amazing !!

They did a great job!!  The shoes were done at the time that I was given that I could pick them up.  I have a second pair that need to be done and I will definitely take them to Ron's Shoe Repair!!!

It's a son and dad, it's a teeny tiny place. They are wonderful. I've used them a few times. They are personable and I think they do good work.

They provide good quality work at a good price and I am always satisfied with their work. I would recommend them to anyone.

One of my son's classmates cut the strap holding the Velcro fastener on his gym shoe. Thought we might have to replace the $45 shoes, but heard about Ron's from a fellow parent. They are a bit difficult to find unless you have been there... behind the paint store. When dropping the shoes off, he stated that he would not be able to match the black strap perfectly as it had a red stripe in it, but could use a plain black one, which I was ok with as it was cheaper than a new pair of shoes! Gave us a claim check and said to come back a week later on Tuesday after 4pm. We showed up about 3pm as we were in the area and he informed us that they were not ready yet. My son was upset, but no big deal. We came back the next day and they were ready and the new strap matched perfectly and actually had the same red stripe as original. Bottom line... great price... a bit longer wait than expected and a final product much better than expected.

We have used him for years. Very good and reliable. Good person to work with. Satisfied customer.

The shoes were ready on time and in a timely manner. One shoe was making a clicking noise after it was repaired. Ron corrected the problem promptly with no further charges.

I HAVE USED HIM FOR MANY YEARS. HE DOES GREAT WORK. HE IS A GREAT PERSON TO WORK WITH. I RECOMMEND HIM COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY.

I TOOK THEM TO RON BASED ON A RECOMMENDATION FROM A SHOE STORE OWNER. HE CALLED BACK TO SAY HE COULDN'T GET THE SOLES TO STAY ON. HE FOLLOWED UP ONCE AND A WHILE, AND AFTER 6 MONTHS, HE SAYS HE CAN GET THE SOLES TO STAY ON. HE DID THROW AWAY THE BOX, WHICH WAS DISAPPOINTING. I WORE THE SHOES FOR A FEW HOURS, AND THE SOLES STARTED TO COME OFF. I CALLED HIM 1 OR 2 DAYS LATER AND TOLD HIM ABOUT THE SOLES. HE SAID TO BRING THEM BACK IN. HE WOULD WORK ON THEM. I TOLD HIM I WASN'T IN/NEAR HIS NEIGHBORHOOD VERY OFTEN. HE SAID WHENEVER I WAS IN THE AREA WAS OKAY. I WASN'T ABLE TO BRING THEM BY FOR THREE MONTHS. HE NOW SAYS HE DOESN'T REMEMBER HAVING THE SHOES FOR SIX MONTHS, OR ALL THE WORK HE MUST HAVE DONE. I DON'T HAVE A RECEIPT BECAUSE THEY DON'T TAKE CREDIT CARDS, AND I HAD TO GET CASH. IT SEEMS UNLIKELY THAT SOMETHING THAT TOOK THIS MUCH TIME AND EFFORT OR THE CALLS I MADE SHOULDN'T STICK IN HIS MIND. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

OTHER SHOE REPAIR PLACES WERE NOT ABLE (OR WILLING) TO DO THE WORK. THE PERSON WHO HELPED US SAID IT WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. THEY PERFORMED THE WORK AS REQUESTED. WOULD USE AGAIN!

WE HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS, BUT OUR LAST EXPERIENCE WITH THEM WAS UNSATISFACTORY. WHEN WE MENTIONED OUR CONCERNED TO THE EMPLOYEE, HE TOLD US WE MIGHT WANT TO TAKE OUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
