They took about 15 minutes to examine the two cameras we brought in and then wrote us a check for a fair price for them. We were very pleased. Also, in response to another review, we had no trouble finding a place to park. There were several spots on the street and about 30 spaces behind the building.

After many years of narrowly escaping camera damage numerous times, fate finally caught up with me. I dropped a camera while distracted by something shiny. And, dropped it on concrete of all things. Busted the lens and the body. Luckily, I had it insured. (If you don't have yours insured already, go do it right now. You can schedule equipment on your HO policy for just a few dollars.).
Called around to all the local shops, all of which only provide the service of shipping it to the mfg. for you. (Lame.)
Bob, however, is the man! He might just be the only guy in the Indy area who knows how to repair a camera, and he does a good job, and is a nice guy on top of it all!
I definitely recommend him!

I needed a external flash for my Canon DSLR. Went to the downtown store. The price was on sale $40 less than typical retail price. I like the fact that if any problems should arise, I can take it to a local store.

Class started on time and ended on time. The instructor was knowledgeable and a good communicator. He had very good material prepared in advance, and there were many opportunities to ask questions.

I purchase most of my camera equipment at Roberts Camera in downtown Indianapolis, probably over $12K in the last 5 years. Their prices match those online and sometimes beat them. Their staff is very knowledgeable for amateur or professional photographers like myself. They have a nice selection of new and used cameras and lenses, and I like that they carry an assortment of accessories like camera bags, lens filters, tripods, backdrops, studio lights, light modifiers, and training material. I bring my SLR cameras in to have the sensors cleaned, and they do it on the spot with very little wait time. And, they have parking right next to the store, unlike all the other downtown businesses. It's a tight parking lot, but it's so convenient. I highly recommend Roberts.

They are extremely knowledgable. They are really great about talking to me about what I want an need and they explain it in the way I can understand. They will also put the lens on their bodies so we can see how it will look. They really are great.

They also do repairs on the equipment. They are very knowledgeable about their products and they have a great selection. They can help you find what you're looking for, while staying on budget. They have always had exactly what I needed. It's been a positive experience.

If someone brings a camera in for repair, and they do not pick it up for ONE YEAR, it will be released into our inventory. They have a good selection of every kind of camera and lighting equipment that you could ever need. They are good for low budget video shoots. They have good prices on all different kinds of cameras. I think they work on cameras as well.
