The job went as planned, except the crew took unusual time to do the work in a most careful manner with maximum safety. I will use them in the future.

Because of the scope of the project and the on-site available equipment, I was able to suggest as well as accept suggestions from John for extra trimming. These minor changes made a major impact on the overall landscape. The job was completed above and beyond our satisfaction, at the originally quoted estimate. The men were respectful of our property, cleaned up meticulously, and left us with an excellent experience and a manicured landscape.

I used him because he had a great rating and we were given a good quote. He came and took the 2 trees away and the work done seemed right for the price. So I called him again, as my neighbor complained about another small tree, and he removed that tree but I did not know that he would come and scam me after doing a great job with the first 2 trees.

They are very knowledgeable and good at what they do. I am happy with the treatment. I thought he was expensive but he did do a good job. The first day the owner came out with them while the work was performed, the second day he sent two young men to follow up without any supervision.

These guys are great. This was not an easy job. Looking at the tree and what needed to be removed I would have guessed the whole tree needed to come out. But, these guys know their stuff. They did a masterful job trimming and saving the tree. It's now been a few months, the tree looks good and is doing great.

They backed their truck down a very narrow driveway, despite being told not to go down backwards. Half way down, the owner told them, "That's far enough.", but the driver assured her he could get it all the way down the driveway. That's when they damaged our new, decorative cement wall. When I called the owner, he accepted full responsibility and assured me they would arrange for concrete repair. Both my husband and I have contacted Mr. McVeigh numerous times (at least eight phone calls) who continues to tell us he is making arrangements. Week after week, there has been no returned calls or repairs. Now, he no longer answers his phone.

"The customer wanted the wood all the way at the back of the drive by the porch. The customer did not want to pay the extra charge to wheel barrow the firewood (2 ricks, over 2000 lbs) to the back. We tried to accommodate by backing up all the way and the truck slipped off the icy driveway. The customer got 2 ricks of wood at no charge and we are still trying to make things right. We called another company who does hardscape and they took some samples to color match and I can no longer get in touch with them. If they can find someone to repair the wall I would like to see the estimate and if it is reasonable I will pay the bill."

Their arborist, John McVeigh, understood what I needed (removal of any tree-related threats to our house) and came to a very reasonable conclusion. His crew worked quickly to remove three dead/dying trees and chips, etc., from our back yard. Stump removal is an additional $150.00.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE PRICING WAS GOOD. THEIR TIMING WAS GOOD. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. THEY HAVE TREMENDOUS EQUIPMENT. THEY HAVE A BOOM THAT WILL GO OVER THE ROOF OF YOUR HOUSE.

COUPLED WITH THE FACT THAT THE OWNER WAS A NO-SHOW, THE UNSUPERVISED CREW PROVIDED UNNECESSARY, INCOMPLETE AND TOTALLY UNSATISFACTORY WORK. REGRETTABLY, THE $1600 WAS PAID TO THEM ALREADY WITH THE PROMISE THAT THEY WOULD COMPLETE THE CONTRACT. IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME AND AT LEAST SEVEN CALLS MADE BY MYSELF AND MY WIFE SINCE THEN.

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A RESPONSE IN REGARDS TO THE DAMAGE SINCE OCTOBER. I ACTUALLY REQUESTED AN ESTIMATE FOR ANOTHER TREE BEFORE I SAW THE DAMAGE. THEY HAVE AVOIDED ESTIMATING THE FUTURE WORK TO AVOID CORRECTING THE DAMAGE. WILL NOT RETURN CALLS OR NEGOTIATE A SOLUTION.

THE 2 TREES WE HAD REMOVED WERE IN A VERY DIFFICULT AREA. NOT ONLY WERE THEY ONLY A FEW INCHES FROM OUR HOUSE, BUT THEY WERE LARGE AND IN ILL CONDITION. THEY WERE BY FAR THE MOST PROFESSIONAL, BEST PRICED, AND MOST PUNCTUAL COMPANY THAT WEVE DEALT WITH.
