They could not have been nicer about my mom's repairs. One ring wasn't very high quality and the stone was cracked. They pointed it out to me. In doing the repair, they either kept the original setting or made a very good duplicate. The band was fantastic. It was actually what my dad envisioned years ago, but another jeweler did a disappoint job. My mom loved the refurbished ring! They also took her wedding set and made a necklace just like my mom wanted and an infinity band as well. The cost was less than half what we expected. We were kept informed and advised throughout the process. I got screwed on a jewelry repair from the store where we purchased my engagement ring. Essentially, the stone chipped and they replaced it with a "lab enhanced" stone that looked like glass. Reis Nichols brought in a selection of replacement stones so I could chose which one I liked best. The stone wasn't an exact match, but it was a bigger and better stone than the original. They also polished it up for me and the ring looked better than when purchased.

I think it was free because the guy took the watch off my wrist and switched it to the right date and about 5 minutes, he had it ready to go. He wind it back and forth. I don't know how to do it. I thought that if you turn Rolex backwards, you will damage it, but he just pop it up and changed the date on it. No problem. They know what they are doing down there. I have no complaints. They have always been very open to working me to the store. I am handicapped so I am in a wheelchair. The guard there opens the door for me and lets me in and out, and they take good care of me when I am in the store. I can't complain about them at all.

The watch was like new when picked up. It runs to a cosc spec as when it was new, even better then when it was new actually. The bracelet was actually not closing, as it was bent and not aligning at all before the service. When I got it back I thought they had put a new bracelet on: it looks brand new and worked flawlessly. I had specific instructions to not over polish the case, and those instructions were followed perfectly. I have since had another small service to another watch and it was just as great of a service. The staff is very knowledgeable of modern and vintage timepieces, which is rare to find in the midwest. The service is always fantastic, whenever I stop in, even if nothing more than to browse around. I am always checked on to ensure I am being helped and my favorite, I am always offered a cappuccino, coffee, of drink while I look around or wait.

EXCELLENT customer service and there's no pressure to purchase. Everyone is friendly, even when it's very busy. They also replace watch batteries for free. This is for all watches and not just the ones purchased there. It is the only place that I will take my watches in Indiana because my watch guy actually knows about watches and I receive the best service.

My wife and I ordered a diamond ring from Reis Nichols. The service during the sale was strong and the salesman was knowledgeable. However, we waited 6 weeks for our ring and finally called the store to inquire about our purchase. They called back after two days and informed us that our order had been misplaced. We feel that they should have been more attentive to what was (in our estimation) an expensive purchase for a very special occasion.

Looked on Angie's list under Jewelry repair. Choose Reis-Nichols for reputation and location. I was quoted $150 and was told it would take 1 week. I was called exactly 7 days later to pick up the ring. The final cost was $167. They did a beautiful job, my ring looks as good as new.

The sales person was very nice. The ring size was enlarged and was completed within a week. The work is excellent and the ring fits great. They also cleaned my other rings while I was in the store. We've done a lot of business with them over the years and are always pleased.

It went very well. I brought my diamond and sapphire engagement ring in for an appraisal. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and asked if they could help me. When I explained that I was needing to have the ring appraised, she explained to me that they could do that, the cost of the appraisal, and that it would take about 48 hours for the appraisal to be completed. After I agreed to this, we filled out the paper work, which took about 5 minutes(if that), I signed off on it, and was told that I would receive a call within 48 hours when it was ready to be picked up. I received a call before the 48 hours that it was ready to be picked up. Upon arrival, the workers were again very friendly and professional. They brought out my ring and the appraisal report; they then went over all the details of the report to make sure I didn't have any questions or concerns. If I ever own any other nice jewelry that needs to be appraised, I would take it to Reis-Nichols.

We found a woman's wedding band that we really liked and was manufactured by Reis Nichols. We also found a men's wedding band, but since it was a common manufacture we chose to shop around a little. After some shopping, we came back to Reis Nichols and advised them we could get the men's band cheaper at a competitor and asked them to give us their best price on the men's band. The sales associate didn't want to do any leg work and asked us to tell her the competitor price. We recommended that they take a hard look at their price and let us know what the best was that they could do. She still came back at a higher price. When we showed her the competitor price, she said they would match it. We, however, felt that if the competitor was going to give that price to begin with, why penalize the competitor. Reis Nichols then gave us a "courtesy" price of slightly less than the competitor. Then the ring had to be ordered and was ordered wrong twice before they got it right.
