Pat splattered paint on the cabinets, on the walls, on the pictures on the walls, on the wine rack, on the kitchen table and chairs. Worst of all, he splattered paint on my brand new kitchen appliances ( I just bought them in May). He scraped the paint splatters off my fridge and dishwasher and scratched them up unbelievably. He didn't scrape the paint splatters off the stove and microwave; they aren't scratched, but they are paint splattered. He left my house July 17, 2020 without saying a word to me, leaving a trail of destruction behind him. I called him July 23 (when I had calmed down). He admitted damaging my fridge, but denied doing any other damage. I asked him 2 or 3 times if he had insurance; he refused to answer. The last time I asked "I just want to know if you have insurance that will help me", he said "I will talk to your attorney ". So clearly, he does not have insurance. So now I need 4 new major appliances to the tune of $4310.78; need someone to help get the paint splatters off my cherry cabinets; and have to repaint my kitchen. I'm afraid to look for further damage. I'm afraid of what I'll find.

Promptness was my major complaint. Pennington would say he would make it by the weekend, for example, to pick up the tub, and never show or call. It took many calls and reminders before connections were made. This went on multiple times throughout the course of the project. On the plus side, he had a cell, and would almost always pick up when I called, so at least I could touch base. After he took the tub, he said he should have it back in about two weeks. It was probably closer to two months. But apart from that, his price was lower than anyone else's I called. And from what I can tell, he did a good job. The tub looks good -- especially considering what he started with. He had to take off a layer of paint that someone had put on the inside of the tub, and the outer surface was unfinished and rough. Although if I had it to do over again I might ask how much extra to put enamel on the outside surface as well, instead of the dull white coating that was put on. Pennington made no complaints or extra charges for taking the tub up the steps, which was a challenge. And the capper -- once they brought the tub back, his son and helper insisted on putting on the new hardware I had to hook up to the drain for no charge. Even when I couldn't find all the pieces, they went to their truck and used their own hardware to finish the job.

Patrick and his son arrived at noon and worked through until around 8:30pm. Tub was very worn on the bottom and required additional work, which increased our cost a little. Did a great job of taping things off and cleaning up. They came back the next day to caulk and finish up the drain. They were only there about 30 minutes on the 2nd day. The tub looks great. It looks brand new. They did a great job with the drain and caulk as well. Nice guys. Easy to work with and trusting. I would definitely use them again!

The team arrived and stayed until the work was completed. Because this was a considerable amount of work, the team did not finish until 10:00 pm. The tub had to cure for more than 24 hours before the shower doors could be installed. Again, the crew stayed until the work was completed. The next day my wife checked the anti-slip surface and felt it to be too rough. The owner came that day and smoothed the surface to the satisfaction of my wife. We were absolutely pleased with such a professional looking result.

They worked on our tub over a two day period for over 11 hours of work. I was simply amazed by how thorough they were. They cared and it showed. Patrick, Sr. even cleaned our tile with a special cleaner for no extra charge. The caulking was impeccable. At times, both were there or they took turns doing various phases of the work. I would highly recommend them. We paid them $500 because we thought they deserved it for the hard work they did on our tub. Their charge was $345.

What a tremendous difference! The old bathrooms were really a mess. They look wonderful now. They really did a very nice job. Pat's a very nice guy; he knows what he's doing. The only complaint was that it took a bit longer than we expected. Not too great on communication as far as when they would show up. Not too much of a problem for us as we always had a bathroom to use.

This is the 3rd time we have used Pat Pennington to resurface bathtubs. Each time the experience has been fantastic from start to finish. The quality of the work is outstanding. He brings old bathtubs back to life. Whether the tubs are weathered and chipped or just the wrong color, it looks better than new after Resurf. He even re-grouted an area of the tub that had been filled in inappropriately with caulk. Pat returned my initial call quickly and worked with my schedule to complete the work- recommending that we replace plumbing fixtures prior to him coming in. He is friendly, honest, and easy to work with. I have recommended him to many friends, all of which have been equally pleased. One of the best companies we have worked with over the last four remodeling jobs.

MENTION ANGIE'S LIST WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM. THEY HAD TO DO TOUCH UP WORK AFTER BEING PEST. THEY DIDN'T RETURN PHONE CALL UNTIL ANGIE'S LIST WAS MENTIONED.

Pat did a very nice job. The tub looks brand new and the surround looks great. He had to do some wall repair and replumb the tub for the new faucet. All the work was done professionally. They also used drop cloths in the house so the new carpet would not get dirty. I contracted with Pat to replace the floor, toilet and sink in the same bathroom.

PAT PENNINGTON DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF PREPARING AND THEN RESURFACING THE BATHTUBS IN OUR HOME. THIS IS A GREAT OPTION TO TEARING OUT AND REPLACING TUBS. WE ARE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE END RESULT AND WOULD PROBABLY USE HIM AGAIN. HE IS FAIRLY GOOD ABOUT RETURNING PHONE CALLS, BUT HE IS NOT GOOD ABOUT SHOWING UP WHEN PROMISED. BE PREPARED TO BE AVAILABLE ANY TIME ON THE DAY HE HAS SCHEDULED, INCLUDING WEEKEND EVENINGS. THE WORKMANSHIP IS EXCELLENT, SO WE WERE RELUCTANTLY WILLING TO PUT UP WITH THE INCONVENIENCE (SATURDAY NIGHT AT 7 PM IS NOT OUR FAVORITE TIME FOR REMODELING) OVER A WEEKEND OR TWO. HIS SON ASSISTS WITH THE BUSINESS. HE DID A FINE JOB, BUT I WOULD NOT ALLOW HIM TO BRING HIS LAPTOP INTO MY HOME AGAIN. SOMETHING ON HIS LAPTOP KEPT HIM PREOCCUPIED FOR HOURS, WHICH CAUSED US SOME CONCERN.

THE WORK WAS WELL DONE, BUT IT TOOK 3 TIMES AS LONG AS EXPECTED, WHICH WAS A MAJOR INCONVENIENCE AS THIS WAS OUR ONLY FUNCTIONAL BATHROOM. THEY STARTED DAYS LATE, AND WOULD MISS APPOINTMENTS COMPLETELY. WHILE THE RESULTS ARE GREAT, IT SEEMS WE WERE GETTING ONLY TIME LEFT OVER AFTER OTHER PROJECTS. THIS WOULD PREVENT ME FROM RECOMMENDING THEM.

IF YOU NEED YOUR BATHTUB REGLAZED, PAT PENNINGTON IS THE ONLY MAN I WOULD TRUST. HE IS A PERFECTIONIST IN DOING THIS DEMANDING JOB. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT HE TENDS TO BE NONCOMMITTAL ABOUT WHEN HE WILL BE THERE. HE HAD TO RETURN A FEW TIMES SINCE PART OF A FAUCET HAD TO BE RETOOLED TO FIT THE OLD FITTINGS (AND THIS WAS ANOTHER GREAT ASPECT OF HIS WORK--HE DOESN'T INSIST ON SELLING YOU ANY NEW PARTS IF THE OLD ONES WILL STILL DO!) I WORK FULL-TIME AND HAD LOTS OF ERRANDS TO RUN, BUT I COULDN'T GET HIM TO TELL ME WHAT TIME (OR EVEN DAY!) HE WOULD BE HERE. THE LAST TIME HE CAME, I WAS VERY LUCKY TO HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM SHOPPING SO THAT I COULD LET HIM IN. TO BE FAIR, HE WILL COME LATE IN THE EVENING OR ON WEEKENDS AS HIS SCHEDULE PERMITS, WHICH I REALLY APPRECIATE. BUT IF HE COULD JUST COMMIT TO A TIME PERIOD (EVEN A 2-HOUR WINDOW) IT WOULD IMPROVE THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE. AGAIN, THOUGH, HE IS A MASTER AT HIS CRAFT. TWO OF MY FRIENDS HAVE ALSO HIRED HIM AND THEY AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY.
