Ralph's Muffler & Brake Service

I called about a week ago to request an appointment; was told it was 1st come 1st served. I had to arrange my entire week around this one day so that I could wait on my car and I was the second person in the lot waiting for them to open. Several other ladies arrived and one claimed she had an appointment. The other said she was told to come back. So the first lady in line before me ushered both of them to check in before she and I, even tho I had previously said to them that it was 1st come 1st served. By the time I got to the counter, my car couldn't even be looked at until sometime in the afternoon. Professional responsive people behind the counter should have asked "who was here 1st?, and we don't do appointments". Marcus behind the counter heard all this conversation ahead of time and said and did nothing. The owner, when asked why I couldn't get an appointment and someone else could, simply replied that she thought she had an appointment only in her head. Nice answer, but showed complete disregard and disinterest in what had just happened. Poor management, poor employee performance. Don't bother with this mess, don't waste your time like I unfortunately just did. My car is not fixed, my time is wasted, I've had to schedule somewhere else, but not until their welder will be there tomorrow and I'm able to cram the time between other things. Today was planned for this repair and it has been completely wasted!

Awesome! I dropped my car off on Friday, and they were able to get it done that day. I felt that they were honest with the diagnosis of what was wrong. I would highly recommend them!

I'd called this afternoon and they said, and quot;Come on in, we can replace your muffler todayand quot;. I got there about 2:00pm. A gentleman told me that they wouldn't be able to start work until 3:00pm. I said, and quot;Fine,and quot; and left to run an errand. Got back about 3:00pm, they took my key (again) and I sat down, reading my book. At about 4:00 I went to the desk and (finally) a person came in and I asked...and quot;Are you going to be able to fix my car today?and quot; and quot;Oh no,and quot; he replied. and quot;You're last on the list.and quot; OMG. I didn't think this kind of elementary-level of disrespect, idiotic disorganization and lack of general wherewithal existed in 2014. These folks need some training....oh I could go on. Needless to say....I would never patronize 'ol Ralphie's again.

After being quoted approx. $1,200 by the dealership to fix my exhaust pipe by replacing the entire catalytic converter, I was relieved when Ralph's told me they could fix my car with a minor welding job for only $150. Service was same-day and straightforward. More than six months later, my car is still running as well as the day It was repaired. Great experience!

They had it up in the air and welded the pipe back together, showed me the work, and gave me a warranty.

The muffler on the right side had rusted out so a entire new one was needed. Due to the age of my auto the type of muffler available was a perfect fit and also came with a lifetime warranty. The job was finished in less than an hour. The provider was very efficient and professional. I also believe the price to be very reasonable.

Fixed in a few hours. This is a no-frills shop, no cappucino but no big price tag. I suspect a dealer would have charged twice as much. I had taken my Avalon here about a year ago about the brakes and they said I didn't need them then but to bring it back in 6-9 months. They didn't charge for the brake inspection. I waited a year and of course the brakes were completely shot. I have taken my Mustang here as well and these folks only fix what you want fixed. They never try to bump up to add more cost. They truly cater to the value-seeking crowd and I am glad I know about them. The only down side is they are only open 8-5 M-F and 1-6 Sat.

They provide free estimates and are honest. It is very smoky in there but they spent enough time letting the car run so they could check the temperature several times to make sure nothing was wrong.

I had an estimate for new struts from the company I had used for new tires. I stopped in Ralph's and asked for a comparison estimate. Gave me a price and said it would take about two hours. They work on a first come, first serve basis. Since it was a holiday week, July 4th, I thought this would be a good time. The next day I came at 8am when they open and the work was done by 9:15am. Their price, along with my Angie's List coupon, saved me $220. I have used them in the past and had the same experience of quick service, quality work, and a fair price. Would definitely use again.
