PROSHRED® Indianapolis

I had a couple of bags of paper to shred at their Friday afternoon drive up service. With the Covid 19 concerns, you drive up with your paper in the back of your vehicle, they load it into a container, and then it goes into the their shredding truck. They explained the process, were polite, and once my turn came, only took a few minutes.

Excellent, they were very responsive, professional and prompt. It was a very good experience and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

They were great. They were able to give me an estimate over the phone and explained to me how the estimate was arrived at - it's dependent on the number of their bins that they fill and shred - and I was given a 2-hour window that the technician would be there. He showed up at the earlier end of the time period and the whole process only took about 10 minutes. It was so much easier than loading the boxes into the car and driving them to a shredding facility.

Excellent service. Timely and polite. I would use them again and again.

They brought their truck to our driveway and wheeled a bin up to the front door. They dumped all the old documents into the shredder right there in front of me. It was great! They were on time and professional. Very efficient and I plan on using them again!

Weeks ago, set appointment for shredding at 9:00 a.m. on last day before closing a professional corporation. An early appointment was essential to the completion of other appointments scheduled that day, all which needed to be completed before an impending out of state trip to daughter's wedding. On Friday (one business day before appointment), ProShred called to say the truck could not come at appointed time, instead it would be on site between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. As it was too late to get another vendor, the ProShred agent was informed of complications of later appointment; consumer believed that every effort would be made to have truck arrive between 11:00 and 11:30. Consumer called ProShred at about 11:45 and was told truck would arrive in about 45 minutes.

The Owner was told that an Angie's List review would be completed and was asked why there were difficulties with keeping the original schedule. Owner explained that the truck had to be emptied before more shredding could be done. That sounded like poor planning; in addition, it did not explain why the truck was running three and one-half hours late. Owner explained that it is nearly impossible to determine a definite time of arrival. Having experience in such matters, consumer suggested that the earliest appointment of the day should be able to be scheduled with a degree of certainty. The owner became upset, stating that he did not appreciate someone telling him how to run his business. He further stated there was no contract (oral or otherwise) and suggested that we find another vendor to complete the shredding. While that would have been an acceptable alternative under some circumstances, we HAD to have shredding completed that day and no other company would be available on two hours notice. After much pleading (which I resented having to do), the owner sent the truck, which quickly shredded the papers. The driver was not arrogant but, rather, apologetic, professional and kind. He did an excellent job.
Bottom Line: Work is done professionally but, from our two experiences, scheduling is and quot;tweakedand quot; after original appointment depending on best interests of provider, not consumer.

My wife and dad delivered the items. They were extremely professional and courteous. They were very customer friendly. They also allow you to watch your documents to get destroyed. It was a wonderful price.

It was excellent. They did just what they said they would. I had called earlier to see if I had to go through and remove clips and staples from the documents, but their shredders were powerful enough for those as well. That saved me hours.

They did a great job. They were very courteous, helped me carry 20 boxes.

The service was good and the location was close so that made it convenient.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted professionally, they took care of making sure documents to be destroyed were secure and provided the certificate. It went exactly as I had expected.

I switched from Shred-It to Proshred due escalating costs with Shred-It.  Proshred was very accomodating in providing me start-up services as I was in a contract with Proshred for several more months.  They arranged to help me with the costs associated to terminate my contract early (i.e. they didn't start charging me until my other contract was complete).  They were responsive to all of my needs on the front-end and performed flawlessly so far.  They don't require contracts and to date I would say I am nothing but satisfied with my interactions with them.

Very smoothly. They helped me unload bags from my car to office.

They seemed very professional. They provided the right size container. They came to my house, which was great! I also felt the price was reasonable.
