Pro Flooring Installations

I am very pleased with the wood I purchased from ProSource and the services they provided. This is the second time I have purchased hardwood flooring from them, after checking out a number of flooring retailers. When I purchase hardwood flooring, I assume I am going to live with it for the rest of my life. So, I do a lot of comparison shopping. ProSource was a clear winner in terms of quality and selection of product offered, price, and services provided.
ProSource offers a wide variety of flooring in addition to hardwoods, including carpeting and tile. Although they probably normally work with professionals who are doing a whole house at a time, and making much larger purchases, I was interested in one room at a time. In spite of that, they didn't ever make me feel that they couldn't be bothered. Their selection is outstanding! Much broader in terms of different manufacturers, price range, and variety of products offered.
Both times I have used ProSource for hardwood flooring, I worked with Account Executive, Robin Bradford, who is outstanding. She let me spend as much time as I wanted, without pressure, browsing their excellent selection. She was ready to answer questions and give good advice when I needed it.
ProSource has a list of installers, whom they recommend. Both times I purchased from them, I had already chosen an installer based on ratings from Angie's List and personally talking to several and getting estimates. It happened that both times the installer I had selected also purchased from ProSource.

Excellent products, excellent service, excellent installation

A short time after the installation was completed the flooring in my family room began to buckle and come loose creating a safety hazard and eyesore. John Potts, the owner, came out to look at problems and we discussed repairs but he wanted to tear up the floor and put down new subfloor. We were unhappy about this because it should have been done at time of initial installation. This product is a floating floor. Floating floors are listed on his business card as a service he routinely provides. We decided that we would assume part of the responsibility of this floor being placed on a concrete slab. the result of this decision was to remove a large amount of flooring, donate it to charity and place carpeting down in our family room. During the process of addressing the problem in family room I called multiple times to pro flooring without returned calls. I had a meeting with Mr. Potts without any satisfactorily results. After the carpeting was placed in family room by different installer, we thought our troubles were behind us. A few months later, the flooring upstairs in master bedroom began to buckle up. At the end of a long story, Mr. Potts explained it had been too long since the time of original installation and would not be able to help. Basically, my tough luck. If someone wont stand behind their work and wont provide assistance they be aware. Had a different flooring provider come out and look at our bedroom flooring and assessed that quarter round was put in too tightly. It took him five minutes to make this assessment so I guess it wasn't worth Mr. Potts time.

Two guys showed up to install. Very friendly and comfortable. No issues. Did a great job with seams. I was worried about the seams bcs we installed a carpet with a design that needed to match at the seams. Great work

My wife was very happy with the service and I don't remember the price.

Originally we had selected a higher quality of carpet and pad, but once we determined we would be selling our current home, we decided to trim our budget. Robin worked with us to find a similar carpet and pad within our budget. ProSource has an AMAZING selection, and there's no pressure to buy -- I could wander their sample room for hours just looking at all the options. However, the staff knows their products and can quickly locate what a customer is looking for as well as provide fast estimates.

The flooring is beautiful. Project management with the installers is AWFUL one hand does not know the anything about the other hand.
If I had it do over again I would just order from the showroom and have someone else install.

UPDATE: The work is almost complete, the correct transition piece was installed between the dining room and kitchen, the gaps at the bottom of the cabinet repaired with the correct pieces. One last transition piece to be installed this week in the entry to cover the gap between the door and flooring. The management team that does the install has been much easier to deal and more responsive. Thank You Justin and Enrique

ProSource met us at the house to look and detail the items and work that we wanted done. Service was professional and Tricia Jones listened to the ideas and thoughts of what we wanted to have done.She provided samples quickly, and was right on target with what we had in mind. Todd Curtis made arrangements to meet with us for the measurements, and then provided the information for the estimates of all the costs.Service and installation was great. Todd did a superb job with the entire project. Courteous and considerate throughout the entire process.

They accidently cut power by snipping wires underneath carpeting shutting off the air conditioner on the hottest day of the year. It was 100 degrees and we had to get a hotel for one night because it was so hot. After hiring electrician we discovered what happen and we were reinbursed to to get back the air conditioner by this company.
Laminate (hardwood), flooring was not put in very well, ex.- it wasn't put in flush with the corners and walls, mostly in the hallway area.
They came back and and tried to patch things up but still wasn't complete. Some areas uneven on the laminates.

I was more than pleased. They had good quality, price and responsiveness. I will not use another company.

They were very accommodating, fast, tidy, and followed up. I was very happy with their work.

We worked with Bobby at ProSource and we had a great experience. We wanted gray carpeting and since gray tends to take on hues of blue or green, depending on paint color, he was very good at helping us narrow down our choices, then either ordering samples or letting us take their sample boards with us so that we could compare our top choices in our own home.

Went to ProSource and dealt with Erika (very nice). No pressure, great selection. Chose carpet and ordered. Made arrangements for the install. Everything went very well. Love the carpet.

They put in the flooring but they have to come back for some additional work that's being done. We have been very pleased with them. First of all they were very helpful in getting us the wood that we really liked which they showed us was no longer available. So I thought that was really very helpful. I thought their price was very competitive and fair because we checked a couple of others out. They were excellent. We have no complaints what so ever with them. I don't think we'll need to use them again because we put hardwood in throughout the place but if we needed to I would certainly call them.

It was an excellent experience. They gave me a competitive rate; they were prompt with ordering the flooring. They had a huge selection and we went in with our price range and what we wanted and they were able to exceed our expectations and meet the needs that we had.

We were trying to find a specific wood and they didn't carry it, but they search until they found it for us. The wood was very fine quality. The were very accomodating. Dave, the owner, was most accomodating. If we had further need I would definitely go back to them.

They are very good to deal with. They are professional and friendly. I will recommend them to others. I didn't have any complications with them.

The project went well. Ericka in the office worked to provide carpet and vinyl selections that met both the clients price point and reflected good quality. Many products and budgets were reviewed in the showroom prior to final selection. Prosource provides the consumer with a wide range of product availability. Installation was performed by another company.

They were good to work with. I worked with Erica and she was helpful in selecting different products. Another company did the installation. The carpet has held up pretty good.

The gentlemen that installed was great. He worked pretty much by himself and he was wonderful. The staff that we worked with was very friendly and helpful.

It was a very pleasant and easy experience. We went to the show room and got the help we needed, but were also allowed to wander about and look at things on our own without being hassled. When we chose what we wanted they were very easy to work with. They made sure they had the materials in stock or it could be delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The materials came in on time and we picked them up ourselves. The whole process of selection, buying and delivery was all very positive. I had no problems with them at all.

Erika was very helpful all the way through. We came in with an idea and once she identified the type of tile we were seeking, she recommended other tile panels for our consideration. Tile samples can go home with you to see it in your home environment. When we came back, we worked with a partner flooring installer and Erika ordered all needed items to complete the installation job. Erika is timely in responding to all questions. When she didn't know the answer, she was very resourceful in reaching out to partners in the business to get us the information we needed.

ProSource offers a wide variety of all types of flooring, displayed in a manner such that it is easy to compare various products. Sales personnel are very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. My installer recommended ProSource. He said that he bought wholesale from them and he would pass his wholesale price on to me. I had already done considerable comparison shopping through various flooring retailers, so I had a pretty good idea of what was available and what I wanted. ProSource told me that my installer's price was 30% less than what they quoted the retail customer. However, the prices they quoted me as my installer's price was not much less than the retail prices I had found at retailers elsewhere for the same product (same brand and style). In fact I had actually been quoted a lower retail price for the flooring I eventually selected than what they were quoting me wholesale. It was only after I told them the 2nd time that I had been told by a retailer that the mill which produced the product I wanted was offering a special price on that style that they agreed to call that mill to check. They did then come back with a price that was lower for that product than the retailer from whom I had gotten the original quote. I am very pleased with the wood I bought from ProSource. Service was outstanding. It was shipped from a mill in Canada, and it came in right on time. They promptly called to let me know it was available for pick-up. My installer had miscalculated the amount of wood needed, so I had to call ProSource and ask them to expedite an order for an additional box. ProSource handled it all over the phone and got it here in three days--record time, considering it was coming from Canada. I will definitely deal with ProSource again. I like the variety and quality of the products they offer and I have confidence in their advice.

Materials purchased at Prosource but installation originally done two years ago by others. Never been happy with finish. After speaking with owner at Prosource, he sent out his expert, John Potts and he showed me how to correct original installation flaws. Very pleased with his professionalism and helpfulness.

I went online to shop around and Prosource had the best price to offer. They did a great job with the installation. The service I got from them was great. Their showroom is probably the best one I have ever seen. They were punctual. Bobby, the project manager was good and he helped us get new flooring. I would recommend them.
