This last time, they told us it would be done at a certain time, and then it turned out there was a bit of a delay and we didn't hear from them, so maybe they could work at better communication with respect to that. I dropped my husband off and it was done within a half hour of him getting there, but that would've been nice to know. We timed it so we could go to lunch beforehand and we figured it would be done when we were finished, based on their earlier estimate, and then it wasn't finished.

PFM did a thorough check of my vehicle and discovered the alternator was bad. They replaced it and I had my car at the time they promised. It was a difficult task and they did a fantastic job.

"We inspected the vehicle. We did give a report that stated that P/S hoses and rack assembly were leaking. We also found the intake gasket was starting to leak. This was done so that the customer would have a cost of foreseen repairs. This is what was requested as he was trying to evaluate cost of future maintenance compared to replacing the vehicle. We apologize for any miscommunication and misunderstanding of what was presented to the customer."

I arrived at my scheduled time and immediately all paper work was done. He began the work and then I received a call that the rear brakes were fine but I needed front brakes and gave me an estimate. I told him to do the work and within a few hours my car was finished.

I loved that they were able to get me in so quickly. I couldn't even get into my regular mechanic until the next day, and they were willing to take me that day. The window was down, and it was cold outside. It was kind of a spur-of-the-moment thing.

I thought i had found a great place for my auto service. I will say the "work" that i have had done by them was good and fairly priced. Here is my issue; I tried to start my car and heard terrible noises from the engine. I immediately turned it off and had it towed to PFM in Zionsville. They called that afternoon and said i had a blown engine, the estimate to have it replaced was about $9,000. The car is a high end automobile with 60,000 miles and all maintenance performed regularly. I called the Infinity dealer, they towed the car to the dealership. They ran extensive tests, bottom line I had my car back in two days with a simple oil filter and oil change performed. Apparently it was a defective oil filter. Total cost $70.00, the car runs as it should, great.

"PFM checked the car and advised that the engine noise was internal and probably needed an engine. Customer was told that we did not perform internal repairs on Infinity engines and our only option was to install a rebuilt engine. We recommended for him to take the car to for a second opinion. The car was just outside of warranty and was taken to the Infinity for dealer for warranty consideration. Our policy is to inform the customer if there is a repair procedure that is outside of the scope of normal service. This was one of the situations, that is why we did not check into it further. This is the first time that we that we have heard of an oil filter causing this kind of a problem. I was not aware of any engine manufacturer not having a by-pass for the oil filter to avoid a restricted oil filter shutting off oil flow. I regret that we were not more familiar with Infinity engines to have found this problem. We are increasing training to avoid a similar situation. The customer did not pay us anything as we did not check out the engine."

They picked it up and towed it to their shop and diagnosed the problem. It was a dead battery. I paid too much only because of my ignorance. Had I known it was only the battery I would have just went and bought one. So, I don't hold the high price on them. Great, honest guys. I would use them again.

Radiator cracked while on I69 near Fishers. Checked Angie's list for recommended auto service. PFM got the vehicle in faster than I expected, replaced the radiator, then when they were not happy with the new radiator performance, they put in a second one with no extra charge for parts or labor. And they gave the coupon discount for Angie's List.
