I used Patora several years ago and came back because my previous experience had been positive. Nothing could be farther from the truth this time around. I purchased a watch out of one of their estate cases for my wife. Allen Miller explained that, since the item was from an estate sale, they could not guarantee that the movement on the watch, which was fine with me. The trouble arose from the band on the watch. They adjusted the band to fit my wife's wrist, but within 2 days, the band came apart. I took it back to the store, where they looked at it and explained that the band had not been properly connected to one side of the watch and that they would fix it. This repair took almost a week. Another week later, the band broke again! This time I was told that the jeweler had not realized that the other side of the band had not been properly connected, either. I asked if there was a different kind of band that could be put on the watch that would be more secure and was told that they could order a metal band instead of the fabric one it came with. Several weeks later, I was told the band was in and brought the watch back. After they attached the new band, we realized that they had put it on backwards, so I had to take it back again. After all this, one of my wife's customers, who happens to be a jeweler, noticed the watch on her wrist and asked her if she had put the band on the watch herself. He explained that it had again been put on incorrectly and pointed out that the band was twisted and not welded together as it should be. Throughout the entire process, Allen did nothing to ensure that the repairs were done properly and never seemed apologetic for all the trouble I had in any way.

I dealt with Chris Harrison , he was a pleasure to deal with . He was able to get me a ring much nicer than I can in for and was still in my budget . I shopped everywhere would totally recommend seeing Chris

Good. Christine and Alan were helpful in making a decison on what kinds of rings would work with my lifestyle. I was offered many options. Sometimes my husband and I thought they were a bit flaky when asked about pricing, but in the end they had quoted us higher than we paid. They smoothed the edges of the band and tapered it to fit with my engagement ring. The engraver they used did a beautiful job as well. The only complaint we had was that in some instances, we had to call them to check on the status of the band during the origninal ordering of it because it had taken over the time frame they had given us.

I purchased my wedding band here - A simple plain band, comfort fit -but It had to be ordered. It was slow to come in and missed the deadline by several weeks. Patora assured me they would have a stand-in ring if it didn't come in time. But it got here in time.

They were helpful and did a good job in a reasonable amount of time.

We have used Patora for our jewelry repair and cleaning for over a year now. I trust Tony, Barry and the gang to take care of my fine jewelry and they always exceeded our expectations (you should see how they made a 15 year old stainless steel/gold watch look like new!). We recently purchased our third Cuervo y Sobrinos watch from them and were completely pleased with the price we negotiated and the level of professionalism they maintained during the process. They have a complete staff of designers who will take your most unique ideas for a special piece of jewelry and create it for you. They have been honest with us during our diamond purchases and I feel very confident that we get more than what we pay for all the way around.

They did a good job. They had the piece of jewelry cleaned up, and had it back on time. I would use them again in the future.

Wonderful experience - greeted on entry, staff member delayed his lunch to change the battery, discussed gemstones with rest of staff while waiting. Very comfortable atmosphere.

Replaced a few mechanical components in watch, which were causing to run slow. Now it s right on the money.

I took all of the jewelry in on July 14 and was told it would be done by July 25. I didn't receive a claim check. I was not contacted at all so on August 1 I called to find out why. I was told that it hadn't been typed up yet, but the report and jewelry could be picked up that day. Later that day I received a call from someone other than the person I spoke with saying that my jewelry was ready. I told him that I had all ready called. He said he wasn't told that. I picked up the jewelry the 2nd. I told the woman waiting on me that I wasn't very pleased with the service and wanted to know why I wasn't contacted and why it took so long. I was told that she and the other woman standing next to her didn't know why, but they would have Mr.Allen call me. I've not been called yet. I think that someone dropped the ball but doesn't want me to know. I received an apology from the woman who waited on me, but I'd never seen her before and she was not involved in the situation. No other apologies.

TALKED TO CHRIS HARRISON WHEN WE ORDERED THE WORK AND HE WAS THE ONLY JEWELER OUT OF 3 ESTIMATES WHO SUGGESTED FRESHENING MY MOTHERS WHITE GOLD WITH RHODIUM COATING AT THE SAME PRICE AS EVERYONE ELSE. ALSO SUGGESTED POLISHING WEDDING BAND EVEN THOUGH IT DIDN'T NEED REPAIR AND THEY DID THAT AT NO CHARGE.

THE JEWELER WAS ATTENTIVE AND HELPFUL WHEN I FIRST ENTERED. HE PROMISED THE WORK BY THAT FRIDAY, BUT IT WAS DONE 24 HOURS AHEAD OF TIME! THE RING LOOKED BEAUTIFUL! I THOUGHT $48.00 WAS A REASONABLE PRICE.

VERY POLITE AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED. DID THE WORK AS I WAITED. VERY HONEST -- I ACCIDENTALLY OVERPAID AND WAS LEAVING THE STORE WHEN OWNER CALLED ME BACK AND RETURNED MY OVERPAYMENT.

DID A GREAT JOB.

THE SALESPERSON WAS VERY HELPFUL, THE WORK WAS VERY SATISFACTORY AND THE RINGS LOOKED BEAUTIFUL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN.

THEY GAVE ME A VERBAL APPRAISAL WITH IN 24 HOURS AND PROVIDED ALL INSURANCE PAPER WORK WITHIN A WEEK.

WILL DEFINITELY USE AGAIN. VERY PROFESSIONAL.

SINCE I HAD PURCHASED THE BRACELET FROM THEM ABOUT 4 OR 5 YEARS PRIOR, I BROUGHT IT BACK TO THEM TO FIX IT. I GAVE THEM THE BRACELET AND THEY HAD THEIR TECHNICIANS JUST ADJUST THE TENSION ON THE CLASP, AND IT WAS AS GOOD AS NEW. I ASKED THEM WHAT I OWED THEM, AND THEY SAID THAT SINCE IT WAS SUCH AN EASY REPAIR, IT WOULD BE NO CHARGE. I CERTAINLY APPRECIATED THAT!

I WAS GLAD TO HEAR AL COULD HELP ME WITH THIS REQUEST. MY WHOLE EXPERIENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL DIAMOND WAS EXCELLENT. IN FACT I HAVE A WATCH THERE ON CONSIGNMENT RIGHT NOW.

I HAVE BEEN A PATRON OF THEM FOR THEM FOR OVER 7 YEARS AND WOULDN''T THINK OF GOING TO ANY OTHER JEWELER.
