Past 2 Present Estate Sales

We contracted Past 2 Present owner Johnny Jenkins after reading the great reviews on Angie's List. At our first appointment Johnny toured our three bedroom home and explained to me his services and the time frame he would need to do an estate sale for us. Johnny is a master at setting up your home like a boutique. He conducted a successful two-day event. After the sale, Johnny and his team packed up all unsold items, transported them to appropriate donation centers. When we arrived at our house for our final meeting, the house was empty, swept and clean and ready for the next steps needed to put our house on the market. Johnny handed us back our keys and presented us with a nice check. We can not praise Johnny and Past 2 Present enough for the wonderful job they did.

It went fantastically. My point of contact was Johnny and he was wonderful from start to finish. It was a wonderful, wonderful experience. It took a HUGE load off my mind and body to have Johnny and his team handle this major chore for me.

The sale went well, and when Past 2 Present were done, the house was empty and thoroughly cleaned. We could not have asked for more.

It went very well for me. I was very pleased with the services provided by Past2Present Estate Sales. Johnny and Carl were easy to work with. They did a fine job, and made my life much easier.

It went extremely well. Johnny is very friendly and professional...always on time and gladly answered any questions that came up. He and his crew do amazing work at a very fair price. I sold my large home and downsized into a 2 1/2 bedroom apartment in California. I had to leave many items behind and I made all the arrangements with Johnny, of Past 2 Present so that I could leave for California prior to the estate sale. Both Johnny and Karl were completely trustworthy and worked extremely well with two of my friends who were there in case there were any glitches. The moving van arrived on Tuesday, 13 August and I left and turned the house over to Johnny and Karl on Thursday, 15 August. They had everything completely set up and arranged beautifully to begin the three day sale on Thursday, 22 August.
The sale could not have gone better and my neighbors and friends were totally amazed by the job Past 2 Present did. Many say they will definitely use them when they have a need. They were outstanding to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

They were very prompt when I contacted them for an appointment. They made several visits to photograph the items I wanted to sale and they organized the traffic flow from the property and labeled the price values for the items. I was very pleased with the results.

I recently hired Johnny and his team to empty my house. The process of letting go of one’s lifelong possessions is extremely emotional, and Johnny was incredibly sensitive and supportive. He and his team are gracious, polite, honest and caring. He
did EXACTLY what he said he would do, and everything was completed on time. I just can’t say enough positive things about Johnny. When we faced an awkward family situation which could have created a confrontation, Johnny was gracious and patient. He very clearly had my interests in mind at all times.

Not well. Had to constantly contact them via email and phone to get them to do anything. Original date for auction did not go on that date. Had to send multiple emails with my address to send me a check.

UPDATE 9/4/13: The BBB has sent them 2 letters, the second was sent through certified mail; they signed for it on the 24 th but they still haven’t responded. They will be issued an ‘F’ rating from the BBB for nonresponse.

It went exactly as they predicted and advertised. We raised some money and got efficiently got rid of a lot of things that we simply didn't know what to do with...
They made the downsizing of my parents home incredibly easy and profitable.

It went great from start to finish.

I had been preparing a house to sell for my mother since. Oct. 1st. It was full of and quot;stuffand quot;. Mother was a hoarder. The antique auctioneer had already come to get 5 truckloads of her antiquess. I was going to use Caring Transitions to get the remainder of the stuff out, but they would have to hold an auction at the house, and my mother wouldn't have any of that. So, at Brandon Daggy's recommendation, I called Johnny Jenkins at Past 2 Present Estate Sales. He and Carl relentlessly and cheerfully hauled stuff out of 3 floors of my mother's home over several days' time. Mother had been moved to Assisted Living, and then she found she had taken too much stuff. So I hauled stuff back to the house, and Johnny made several subsequent trips to pick up things, as the house was going on the market on Dec. 7th.
I actually stopped by the house one night to do some light carpentry work, and Johnny and Carl were installing the 14 door-knobs that I needed to be installed. What a surprise, and a relief! Of course, I paid them for this bonus task. Johnny is such a refreshingly pleasant man to deal with. Johnny and Carl were quite helpful in the suggestions they made to me to light the task.There isn't anything he wouldn't or couldn't do...that I asked of him. I don't think this business should be hidden under the and quot;auctionsand quot; category. Yes, they do auctions and sales at homes, but they will do anything to liquidate your estate...and that needs to be advertised as such. In my case, they removed all the items and will outlet it at different monthly sales in Indianapolis, and at an antique mall in Indianapolie. Potential customers on Angie's List need to be able to access them! You are doing them a dis-service. This company is STELLAR!

Johnny, Carl and their team were wonderful. I called them to help me clean out my late parents' home. I had been sorting through on my own for almost 4 months without much progress. First, I met with Johnny and we talked about my expectations, any items that I wanted them to look for and set aside for me, and the cost and explanation of services. Then, in less than two weeks, they managed to sort through a 2400 square foot home and garage. They communicated with me throughout the entire process and found some valuable things I didn't even know about. All valuables, photos, important papers, and family keepsakes were carefully placed in a designated room for safe keeping. After sorting the items, they set up for the sale. All of the items were cleaned, tagged, and displayed in an attractive manner. They advertised the sale, contacted collectors, and put up signs. They handled the sale completely and I didn't even have to be present. After the sale, they donated the remaining items and cleaned up. They were efficient, organized, and most importantly, very compassionate. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone.
