Suzanne O’Connor, Au.D. , Doctor of Audiology/Owner Doctor O’Connor is the meticulous, decisive, passionate owner of Professional Hearing Services, Inc. Over 230 customer reviews "disappeared" from this listing when the Angie's List website was upgraded, but rest assured our service level has remained the same since 1983. A seasoned and skilled practitioner, Dr. O’Connor followed her dream to own an Audiology practice. She sought opportunities to work in a variety of settings in central Indiana: a rehabilitation clinic, hospitals, ENT offices, and as an independent contractor in various private Audiology practices. She strived not only be the best in her field, but to glean knowledge on the odyssey to someday own a practice. She earned the Au.D. degree herself, while most contemporaries were satisfied to continue to practice with their Master’s degree. Finally, in March 2004, her dream came true, as she took over the reins of Professional Hearing Services from the practice’s original owner. Her practice is unique in greater Indianapolis: it‘s the area’s most established private Audiology practice, it’s the only one that’s owned by a Doctor of Audiology, and it’s the only one that’s AudigyCertified™, which means it’s selected and certified by an elite group of peers for upholding the highest standards of patient care. Dr. O’Connor is proud of her practice’s excellent reputation and continued growth since 1983, with the addition of Amanda Rosinko, Au.D, our second Audiologist. Excellent. I have been working with Dr. O'Connor since 2011 and today ordered my third pair of hearing aids from her. My hearing has gotten worse over the years and the technology has improved so it is time for an upgrade. Working with Dr. O'Connor is always a pleasure. She always listens to answers to her questions and she really tries to improve my hearing as much as possible.

Excellent. Dr. O'Connor found that my hearing had gotten worse in the last year (as I suspected) and adjusted my hearing aids to help. Working with Dr. O'Connor is always a pleasure. I recommend Professional Hearing Services to anyone who thinks they may need hearing aids.

Excellent. Dr. O'Connor checked my ears and cleaned my hearing aids and said everything was good. I have been working with Dr. O'Connor about five years and have been very pleased. I highly recommend Dr. O'Connor for anyone who needs hearing aids.

Excellent. Dr. O'Connor recommended I see an ENT and she made an appointment for me to see an ENT the following day. Dr. O'Connor and Adrianne are always a real pleasure to work with. I have been relying on Dr. O'Connor for my hearing needs for several years and I highly recommend her.

Excellent. My hearing aids don't fit as snugly as I would like so Dr. O'Connor made new molds of my ear canal to have new hearing aids prepared. She and her staff are very professional, very courteous and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend Dr. O'Connor.

Fantastic! Amanda was the most dedicated, professional health professional I have ever meet. She was determined to provide me with the best fitting, best hearing experience that she could. From the 1st appointment she made sure that if I was not totally satisfied that she worked and try something else to make it best for me. You could not expect or hope for a better place to seek help with any hearing issues that you might have.

Dr. O'Connor fitted me with hearing aids almost six years ago and i have been happy with my decision to work with her and her staff. Recently my hearing aids began squealing so i went in for a check up. Dr. O'Connor knew just what to do. She removed the wax from my ears and now all is good.

I found Dr. O'Connor on Angie's list and finally gathered enough courage to make an appointment. She tested my hearing and prescribed right and left hearing aids. I knew these are expensive but what I paid covered follow up appointments and a supply of batteries. Her degree is in audiology and she worked for another practice before starting her own business. She isn't watching the clock so she can go home and do something interesting. It is all hers and she is quite protective of it. In short, she works hard and really wants you to be successful with your new aids.

Very good. Dr. O'Connor is always punctual and ready for our appointment. Her receptionist, Adrian is also very nice and a pleasure to work with. Dr. O'Connor fitted me with hearing aids five years ago and i have seen her many times over the years for check ups and hearing aid cleaning. I highly recommend Dr. O'Connor to anyone who thinks they may have a hearing problem. I am very satisfied with her work and the results.

If I could rate Amanda with A++++ I would. She was professional, calm, and gentle but thorough. She explained what she was doing each step of the way and showed me the instruments she was using. I felt at ease and left the office able to hear!. I hadn't heard well for a long time and I am so grateful. If I ever need more services I would go to this office without any hesitation. Excellent. Dr. O'Connor fitted me with hearing aids about 4.5 years ago and I have been totally satisfied and pleased with her and the hearing aids the entire time. I go in about three or four times a year and she checks to make sure everything is going well and replaces parts when appropriate. She and Adrian are always a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend Dr. O'Connor to anyone who thinks they may need hearing assistance.

Dr. O'Connor is very personable and professional as is her office staff. It's a small office without all the noise and background activity as in the larger hearing aid providers, which makes it a more comfortable environment for the hearing impaired to get the necessary information needed for a good fitting. I have been seeing her for all my hearing needs for ten years. She has tested my hearing, fitted me with new hearing aids several years ago, reprogrammed my hearing aids as my hearing has changed and provided all the maintenance needed to keep them in the best working condition. A couple of times my hearing aids needed to be sent in for repair and she has provided me with loaner aids (a godsend since I have severe hearing loss and can't function without them). When the time comes for new hearing aids I will get them from Dr. O'Connor. I would highly recommend Dr. O'Connor.
