Nu Sash was supposed to remove damaged fascia and soffit and replace and put up new gutters and paint. To the tune of $7000. They did not remove old soffit, just installed over top of existing, the gutters were not installed correctly and caused damage before they came back to reinstall (4 times), the painters left after 1 coat and I had to ask for them to come back to second coat. Damages to 2 decks that were recently stained due to ladders and disregard to property. Nu Sash insisted that the damages were there prior, even though I just stained them last fall and we have only lived here a year. Never did we see a project manager that overseen it all, with 3 different contractors we had to babysit to make sure the work got completed. Nu Sash was paid 1/2 upfront, offered no reduction after all the damages and the fact that it took 2 months to complete and insisted on payment before work was even completed. They sold us product that would not work with our house, we had to have gutter guards cut off the front after discovering they wouldn't work with the pitch. Very low budget contractors being portrayed as a family owned business that was obviously a lie. Avoid this contractor at all costs. Their professionalism is rancid. We have photos, video and evidence of text conversations if you would like further reference as to their behavior through our ordeal. If you are interested in hearing more, contact me at 608-343-3276.

We were very pleased with our new windows and door.  NuSash was very professional.  The installation crew was top-notch.  They cleaned the grounds so well that you could not tell they had even been on the property.

They came on time and did a wonderful job of installing the windows and patio door. The only problem was that I called to request a price for a new entry door about a week after I ordered the windows and never got a reply back. Then when they came to install the windows the person who does the measuring for the replacement windows took the info for the new entry door and said he would probably get back to me that same day but 10 days later and have not heard back.

Our roof is now sagging. When we called them about the sagging roof, the man that answered was rude. It got to the point when they wouldn't take my calls or return my calls.

Kevin at Nu-Sash came out and gave a straightforward estimate to keep my existing frames and windows (which Bee Window had estimated at $52000 replacement cost with Marvin Infinity replacement windows) and just replace the glass....an option I had not considered before.  Everyone.....if most of your frames are good, I highly recommend this option!  Highly.  His workers showed up on time and took out the old glass of each window one at a time and replaced with the new glass.  Took them 3 days.  Highly professional and were friendly and cleaned up every day.  I am extremely happy with the job!!!!  Don't replace your entire window if you don't have to!

We really like the new windows and we have noticed that we can open the curtains and we do not feel any heat from the sun.  We enjoy having windows that we can open freely and be able to look out and not have the summer heat beating in on our furniture.  It took longer than we thought it should to replace a screen, a replacement post for the patio door and screw covers for some of the windows that were missing when they did the install.  Other than that we have been very happy with the new windows.  We would definitely use them again.

I would say be very careful about who they are hiring. They were hiring different people and some contractors would quit. It took a year to finish this project. Which I feel was way too long. They were rude. I found the experience to be not at all what we suspected.

I filed a complaint to the attorney general against them. They did not finish the job. There were humps and gaps on the floor. They did not do their job right. The floor of the extension did not match the height of my original floor.

.Im very happy with the new windows. Their pricing was very fair and if you paid for it within a certain time you had no interest. So that was good. I would use them again.

Ron McKee (owner), Rick Myer (General Manager), and Steve Craft (Manager, Construction).  These people have been unavailable and unresponsive to my phone calls and reasonable request to be kept in the loop regarding the completion of my egress window.  This window was fully paid for in February.  It is not yet complete.  $2600.00 of flood damage has occurred to a water free and completely remodeled basement.   In  early spring, before the massive rains, I contacted the company about the open pit.  A representative of NuSash, I no longer remember who, came and examined the job and said it was complete and that I was in error to believe that an egress window should be covered.  After all, it is for egress.  But Rick Myer, the General Manager, came to our home the first of June and viewed the damage.  He told us that the job was not complete and that he wished we had called sooner.  We did call sooner, and the company had washed its hands of us.    Now we are still repairing damage at this address.  We have sliced caulk, removed floor molding and shoe molding, drained hundreds of gallons of water from behind brand new drywall, etc.  We are afraid to finish our job because NuSash has not finished theirs..  This complaint is not about the fact that ‘the parts are on order….’.  This complaint is about the fact that no one there seems to realize that I am a customer, not an adversary.  I wanted a simple answer….  ‘when do you anticipate delivery?’  and ‘do you care at all???’.  I have been a professional woman all of my life, and I hired NuSash to do this work based on a long-time excellent reputation in this area. Their reputation no longer seems important to them, which I fail to comprehend in this day of financial turmoil.  The simple return of a phone call (just one – I’m not a stalker) would have helped.  My husband sat in the NuSash office yesterday (the end of July) to try to get an answer from someone.  He finally met with the owner, Ron McKee, who was unconcerned and unprofessional.    This company has put us in an adversarial position.  I may have to haul them into court, and I have let the BBB know that this is an unresolved issue.  I made 3 very reasonable requests:        1.  Keep me in the loop.  They know how to contact me and will not.   2.  Complete the job adequately.      3.  Make an offer to pay for, or help pay for, the cost of repair on my home.  The cost of inconvenience and insult cannot be recouped.

They did a good job putting in gutters. Only thing the installer said they would contact us within a week, but no one contacted us, and we had to wait a week to schedule. So we had to call but they finally got in touch with us.

They basically took out all of the existing studs and tore down a wall to open up some area.  They basically did everything.  They were pretty good but were a little slow with a couple of things.  When they came to talk about doing the work we were a little hesitant, but when they came to actually do the work they seemed to know what they were doing.  That stood out to me.  They did a pretty good job.  There were a couple of items that we had to clean up ourselves, but that wasn't a problem.

I have an older house (built in 1960). The windows and sliding glass patio door were aluminum. To put it mildly, they were in terrible shape. The sliding door was corroded and frozen shut. All the windows were either broken, missing parts, or absent (1). My main concern was the sliding door. The salesman, Steve Carnal, was straightforward and to the point. I was very apprehensive at first but he put me at ease. I could not afford getting all windows replaced at once, so I decided to have the door replaced as well as two windows. The installers arrived on time and were very professional. They removed the sliding glass door and rebuilt the section of the home to accomondate the new door. I finished the remodeling of the sliding glass door myself. I plan to use NuSash in the future to replace more windows.
