It was a pleasure working with Modern Appliance Repair. They were friendly, easy to work with, and they stood by their work. Their initial repair didn't work, but they went above and beyond and contacted the manufacturer on our behalf, got the part needed, and came and installed it during a second visit with no haggle (and no additional cost).

The dishwasher repair was great. Refrigerator repair did not work, and they did not return my calls.

Selling a home is stressful and Modern Appliance Repair made it less stressful. They returned my request promptly, scheduled me quickly, called when on his way, arrived on time and was knowledgeable, and got my stove fixed . His customer service skills were also fabulous. We will use them for any appliance repair needs in the future. You would be crazy to use anyone else!

Fridge was not cooling, compressor running but a bit loud. They sent out a tech who did little but deduce a compressor problem, no multi meter or testing of other components. Recommended replace compressor, $75 service call fee paid. Took a couple days to hear from their compressor guy via email. He asked for my fridge s make model twice, quoted me $700, and acted shocked when I asked for an itemized quote (I found a new compressor online for $250). He gave me a quote that did not include any of the electrical components that should be replaced along with a new compressor. After a week of apparent confusion and an approved $700 repair anyway, the compressor guy just quit responding. Tried contacting the original tech and the company main number, leaving text and VM, no response. No fixed fridge, I m out $75 and starting over. Not a great experience.

The technician that came out was named Cody and he was VERY professional, knowledgable, cordial and even friendly. I will always call this company and ask for Cody if I have another need for their services.

We had so many issues identifying the part that needed repaired and cruelly getting it delivered, but they communicated well and were super responsible with how they handled and cleaned up everything. I had a complicated issue and they made it stress free.

Cody arrived inside the time Window scheduled. Diagnosed the problem quickly. Had the part available with him. Installed it and verified that it was working before left. Costs were communicated up front with the understanding that there could be variability based on the core issue. Done. Can't expect anything else.
