My garage door broke as I was returning home on Monday night. On Tuesday morning, I contacted Milburn Garage Doors on the advice of a friend and after checking their rating on Angie's List. I called about 15 minutes after they opened, and the serviceman was here by 10:30 that same morning. It took him fewer than five minutes to diagnose the problem and very little time to repair the door. I have had no problems with the door in the weeks following, and, additionally, it had (for three years) always made a terrible sound at one point when opening or closing. Now the operation is far quieter.

I think the price was good. I probably wouldn't be suing them if I didn't think the price was good.I have been using them ever since then. I have moved in to other houses since then. They are generally very prompt if you have a problem. Their responsiveness is very good.

I contacted Milburn on 10/23/13 and explained my problem, I figured I needed a whole new opener as it is around 16 years old. He (Terry) was out on a call and didn't think there was any availability for that day but said he could probably come out the next day, he would confirm once he could look at the schedule. I got a phone call within a couple hours and he said he was available if I could meet him then. I took a long lunch and met him at my house, where he was already waiting for me when I arrived. Just as he had told me on the phone, I needed a capacitor and he showed me what looked like shaved ice, which was pieces of the gear. Once he completed those repairs, he noticed the bottom bolt in the bracket that holds the spring was just hanging on by the last thread and the wood was split from the bottom bolt to the top one. He pointed out that the bracket had been secured to a piece of wood that was at most 2 inches, he moved the spring to the other side of the door and rebolted the bracket into the other piece of wood that was more like 6 inches. I knew the opener was messed up but had no idea that at any time I could have driven or walked into the garage and that spring could have broken loose and come crashing down on me or my car. I'm glad that I can push the button and safely enter my garage and not have to leave my car out in the cold. I clean all my windows, not just a circle in the front windshield and since we have already had our first frost and snowflakes of the season, this means no scraping windows for me.

It was a good experience. Terry, the owner, came right out to give the quote. The installer, Chuck, showed up when they said they would. He was very polite and friendly. He completely explained the system that he installed.

Chuck came out and replaced my defective opener that had stopped working. also the door was jacked up because one of the cables had come off and the door was slightly offtrack. All of that was repaired and new Liftmaster opener was installed. got new keypad and two remotes. It was done in a short time. i am very happy with the job. I have been using Milburn Doors since 1989 and will not use anyone else.

They did a good job. It is just that they couldn't repair the rest of that part. The only reason I didn't take them for the garage doors is because the estimate was little better with the other company and Milburn wouldn't carry out the things from the garage and put it back in. So I just went with other company for that reason. Milburn did a real good job when they did the repairs. They were responsive and came pretty quickly. I would use them again.

Met with company rep two weeks before to select and order door. Completed installation in 4 hours. Removed and disposed of old garage door, tracks, and opener. Very pleased with door, installation, installer, and price.

They were right on time and it only took two hours for them to complete the job. They removed all the old door too!

Great service and great price.

Everything went well. They went above and beyond expectations. During the installation, part of my 19 year-old garage door became damaged. The technician was extremely apologetic and promised that the door would be replaced. A few weeks later, I had a brand new garage door without being charged.

Service was same day which we didn't expect. Pleased with all the work done and pleased with the price. Would definitely use again.

Installer did an excellent job. He had to move stuff around to perfom the installation but never complained. The new opener works great. I am very happy with the job and would definitely recommend Milburn Garage Doors to others.

I took the opener to them and the gentlemen tested the opener which was about 25 years old several times. He told me the opener had lost its code. He instructed me how to reenter the code. The best part of all, they did not charge for the service and advice.

After I called they came out the next day. They were extremely nice, polite and they fixed the problem with no issues.

The returned my call immediately, scheduled to come out the following day and within two days were out to do the work. They arrived exactly on time and finished the work within a 1/2 hour of the time they estimated it would take them. The on-site installer was very professional and courteous. It was a very hot and humid day and he even gave my dog a cup of water from his cooler! The garage door and opener is exactly what I ordered and the quality is excellent.

A service call was set up for 3/17/08. After waiting for 45 minutes I called to learn that no technician was being sent. They did not give me the courtesy of a phone call!!! This company is poorly run and unprofessional. Also they have made many billing errors in the past.

Job 1: Did a very thorough job. Very willing to get out as quickly as possible. Very accommodating. Very pleased with the experience. Job 2: (no comments)

Everything went well with Charles Matthews doing professional work as usual. (He had installed the door in 2000.) I called on Monday for an estimate after a miserable weekend with the non-functioning old opener, and they came on Wednesday to do the installation. The unit is one-half horse power, which is quite adequate for our door. I have used the services of this company for more than 20 years.

Very prompt and professional.
